Condition and comfort - the room was small but comfortable and the bed was just what I wanted after a long day of exploring Taipei. Cleanliness - only thing i noticed was a lot of dust bunnies on the floor when i dropped my pen and when to pick it up...otherwise everything else was pretty spotless above ground. Location is awesome if you know the bus system. MRT is a bit of a walk (about 10 mins and i consider myself a fast walker) Neighborhood was financial center/high end shopping malls Service was okay to good. My check-in was changed about 3 weeks prior to my arrival. Hotels.com called them to confirm the change twice. When I got there, ATboutique said they didn't receive any changes and would charge me for the original check in dates too. In the end, the extra charges were clarified and fixed but this was not something I needed to stress over during a vacation. Service is dependable if you don't make any changes

This is a great modern hotel! Excellent service, clean rooms and terrific amenities. Breakfast is included in the price, but the local phone is not; and it is terribly expensive.

Older Hotel...they are updating rooms and the newer rooms are nice. Older rooms are not dirty but a little worn, carpets stained...good thing they give you slippers....Staff was fantastic very helpful . Restaurants OK to good. It was rated as a 5 star but it's a 4 star at best with 5 star pricing

Location.
In the Zhongshan district, this Taipei hotel is 0.8 km (0.5 mi) from Taipei Arena and National Taipei University. An MRT transit station is within a 10-minute walk. Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is 2.8 km (1.7 mi) away.
Hotel Features.
The large, two-story health club features a state-of-the-art gym, along with a two-lane indoor lap pool, juice bar, spa tub, sauna, steam rooms, and cold and hot plunge baths. A day spa is also on site. Westin Taipei offers 10 dining-and-refreshment options, with highlights including buffet, Italian, Chinese, and Italian restaurants. 24-hour room service is available. "Rooms and Location"
Hotel was satisfactory. The rooms could use an update to equal to the standards of Westin Hotels in other areas. The rooms were clean, however the bedspread, furniture and overall look of the room appeared to be older and not up to date. During the time of my stay, there was much construction in the area, leading to additional noise. The location was […] adequate, about 40 minutes from the airport. "The Taipei Westin"
I discovered this hotel as others were booked out, and I'm glad I did. I'll never stay anywhere else when I come to Taipei. As a business traveller, I enjoyed the 2nd floor breakfast and meeting area with meeting rooms and also the happy hour provided free each afternoon. "Westin Taipei - Comfort!"
Nice hotel, nice ambience. The hotel lobby is undergoing upgrading, making the reception really squeezy and tight. Once I got out of the lifts to the guest floors, I could see the entire idea of the hotel. Rooms were very spacious, comfortable and the bathroom and the shower was very good. Hotel staff was great. The room itself was clean but the bathroom could have been cleaned and/or maintained better.
"Good service"
Service is at the level of what you would expect for the amount you pay. Location is very near the MRT station, but you will have to transfer at least once to get to most places in town.

"Westin Taipei Hotel, very small room and bed"
the hotel location is ok but the room is not cozy especially i booked the Deluxe room with two beds but the bed size is horribly small. i called the reception said the tv remote control was not working but no one ever came in fixing the problem. Not worth to pay 5 stars price and this probably one of the worstest Westin hotels.
"歯ブラシがない"
部屋に歯ブラシがなかったので問い合わせたら「当ホテルはエコに協力するため歯ブラシを提供していません」との返事。でも、シャンプーは二つづつ、お風呂に入れる塩や、ミネラルウォーターは4本もあり、エコの観点から言えば矛盾している。 その上、価格は5つ星の価格である。 インターネットも5つ星には珍しく料金がかかる。それもWIFIとケーブルとは別々に購入する。 スタッフの応対がいいだけにすごく矛盾を感じた。

Flott hotel, bra beliggenhet. Utmerkete fasiliteter og meget god service på alle hotellets serveringssteder. Gode seminar fasiliteter. Akseptable priser på rom og serveringssteder.
