This hotel is crap. Their pool is cloudy, hot tub foamy, could not use either due to this. Hotel is very dated, door on room was hard to open the handle was broken. Old dirty carpet everywhere in the building. Employees speak very little english and if they don't understand you they end up not responding? Room key died, had to go back to the front desk […] to get it reprogrammed. The whole hotel was musty and smelly. The air conditioning and heating system in the room smelled very bad. The reception on the tv in the room was so bad, a new movie looked like it was 30yrs old, even though they have new flat screen tvs. Maid service of chaning sheets and towels was done correctly. No one said goodbye or thanks for visiting when we checked out? Seems guests are simply a nuisense at this hotel? Would never go back to any hotel this chain owns... little bit costly, but the service is very nice, it has free internet connection in the rooms and free wifi. well maintained and friendly staff.

The hotel is run down and past its prime. The rooms are dirty and well worn, but why stop there...The elevator that you must take to reach your floor has seen better days and you must slide your room card to make the elevator move which speaks to the neighborhood that it is located in. The attached restaurant has less than desirable food including 3 […] day old shell fish in there Jambalaya. To say I was very unhappy with this hotel would be an atrocity. Good location, close to train, GREAT front desk staff. Hotel little old. Hot tub / jacuzzi was not very clean, had some dirt on jacuzzi floor. Parking fees low (good point). Free wired internet (good point).

The best hotel of our two- week trip! The people were really nice and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The restaurant was fabulous. They had a workout room. My only reservation is that I would prefer an indoor pool, but that was a minor complaint. Also, it was very close to downtown Vancouver, so the location was convenient.

Being a stranger in Vancover, I appreciated the fact the security of the hotel made me feel safe. The down side is the smoking everywhere. Your entire staff was very accomadating. We thought we were booking downtown Vancouver .I feel you should have a designated area for smokers.

the hotel is alittle old, but very clean. the location is good, 7 mil. from down town. room was very nice with small living room with sofa (open to a bed) and small kitchen. nice bed room. the air- condition was very old and making noise. the price was fare but was with out breakfast.

The room was nicer than expected, comfortable and quiet with all the expected amenities. Did not have an opportunity to dine at the restaurant but overall a great value for the price.

Hotel is very comfortable. The price is worth it. The staff was pleasant, the beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom smelled like pee though. Everything else was great.

We were in Burnaby for a seminar and the location of the hotel was perfect. Staff were very helpful and followed through with requests for cabs and directions. Only 20mins. from the sites in Vancouver it was a great deal when it included breakfast which was ample and well presented. All in all this was a good stay. I loved that it was close to the Skytrain with easy access to good food and shopping. There is a fee for parking and internet here. There is a Starbucks just down the street, so we didn't bother paying for the internet. The bathroom was pretty small, just enough space for the door to swing open. Great hotel, good location. Clean rooms, friendly & helpful staff. Fitness room really needs work. It smells, there's no cleaning spray for wiping down equipment after use, no water, and no small towels available. Pool was green and should be open since it's mid-May.

Very comfortable and such easy access to Rail network into Vancouver, making sight-seeing so easy. Also easily accessible by foot or road to well-priced and pleasant eateries and restaurants. Although information about the Room Safe was incorrect in the room.

For a 3 star hotel the Executive was great value!! Very clean, nice rooms and friendly service. Would definitely book a room here again.

I recommend this hotel to travelers...it was a splendid stay and nice and accessible to downtown Vancouver via the skytrain.

The whole experience from check in to check out was fabulous. I would easily reccomend this hotel to anyone and stay there again myself.

Very impressed. Great value for money, close to Skytrain, huge rooms, great pool and jacuzzi. Restaurant is pricey but food was excellent although the nearby Boston Pizza was our regular eatery. We didn't have a car but with the skytrain so close it didn't really matter. Free apples every day ! Free shuttle to nearby Metropolis shopping centre, 2nd […] largest in Canada ! Friendly staff. The price was reasonable and room was nice. There are two full size bed and one sofa bed, plus sitting area with sink. if it comes with breakfast, it would be perfect.

Convenient location, good service at front desk and restaurant. Great bowl of oatmeal with berries. My room decor was pretty worn, but signs up said reno's were under way, so next visit I expect the room will be new and shiny. Room layout and amenities just fine for a biz trip.

Great location - close to lots of restaurants, mall, sky train, grocery store. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

I found one of the front desk clerks to be a bit snotty. Also, I am personally always annoyed about having to pay for parking when I'm a paying guest. This is not even a hotel in the middle of downtown. Though I acknowledge that is probably a personal issue.

The only reason the condition of the hotel did not get a 5 star was because it is under renovation. The rooms are HUGE, almost all coming with a seperate living room area. Most have a soaking tub, and many have a jacuzzi tub for little extra cost. The area is great, super close to the rail system, surrounded by restaurants, very close to a massive mall, […] and only a few miles from downtown vancouver. This is a old hotel, obviously everything inside like fixtures, furnitures etc. all old. also you will get some musty smell inside of the building. Professional staff and fairly clean inside. a nice hotel, close to all things Burnaby. In addition, close to transit to take you all over. a good price, for a nice room. my only issue remains paying for parking. this hotel is not even in a downtown core.

Enjoyed staying here and will do so again.

You cant beat the session you get with Ida the masseuse. Such a nice touch for a hotel to offer this to their guests.

Overall it was a great location and decent hotel. The room descriptions on this website are not accurate as not all rooms have jetted tubs...the base room does not just fyi.

After reading some poor reviews, we were surprised and thrilled with our stay...great room...comfortable...clean...almost a kitchenette, minus the stove...nice sitting area in room for visiting with friends. The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to transit and shopping, within walking distance to these. The room was very clean, nice and roomy, comfortable, and updated, a great price for what we received. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definite negative was paying $6 plus tax per day for parking, especially since we weren't downtown Vancouver. […] Also, the common areas of the hotel could use a little bit of work, the carpets in the hallways etc. are a little worn out and aged. My husband booked this hotel for myself and our 2 children. We absolutely loved the out door pool and hot tub which we hit every night! Very friendly and helpful staff at front desk and restaurant. food was great! would definitely stay there again! thanks

This hotel was awesome. Convenient to Burnaby, Vancouver and the North Shore - Easy access, good parking and our room was fabulous. Large and clean. Price was good value. I was definitely impressed and will plan to stay here again.
