Beds were not comfortable at all. Hinges on bathroom door squeaked & very annoying in middle of night when someone used restroom. No decaf coffee in room. Comforter on bed was very, very heavy.

It was good but I thought my room could have been a little cleaner. I mentioned the tile in the bathroom didn't look as if the grout had been cleaned in some time as it was very filmy but nothing resolved this during my 6 day stay. I also had a room service book that offered breakfast and when I called for an hour with no result, I asked at the desk […] as I had to leave for work and they said, oh yeah we don't offer breakfast. The level of efficiency of the staff was second to none. Amir and the crew at the front desk catered to our every need. Not a problem seems to be their mantra. I will definitely visit this hotel again and I will recommend it to others. In addition, location was not an issue as the sky train is across the street.

The hotel was very clean and quiet and had a nice set up with microwave and refrigerator and silverware and we also had a nice buffet down in the resturant below. Overall for the great price we paid it was so far the best hotel for the buck... Also not far away from stuff just a quick car ride or sky train ride...

A bit dated, undergoing renovation but my room was clean and up to date. My room had a wet bar, refrigerator, microwave, dishes and silverware. A good desk and wired and wireless internet access. The maid service was great and I never worried about the cleanliness or safety. Parking is extra. Front desk was pretty noncommittal, they did their job but […] I can't say I felt welcomed. I didn't use the pool, fitness center or restaurant. Enough shops and restaurants within walking distance, as is the sky train to get you to Vancouver. Arrived at time of check in, 3 pm, our standard room was not ready, we were immediately upgraded to a queen suite with no questions asked !! Front desk staff were very friendly, as were the cleaning staff. The only negative thing I would have to say is that there is only 1 elevator, and it is very slow. This hotel is crap. Their pool is cloudy, hot tub foamy, could not use either due to this. Hotel is very dated, door on room was hard to open the handle was broken. Old dirty carpet everywhere in the building. Employees speak very little english and if they don't understand you they end up not responding? Room key died, had to go back to the front desk […] to get it reprogrammed. The whole hotel was musty and smelly. The air conditioning and heating system in the room smelled very bad. The reception on the tv in the room was so bad, a new movie looked like it was 30yrs old, even though they have new flat screen tvs. Maid service of chaning sheets and towels was done correctly. No one said goodbye or thanks for visiting when we checked out? Seems guests are simply a nuisense at this hotel? Would never go back to any hotel this chain owns... The hotel is run down and past its prime. The rooms are dirty and well worn, but why stop there...The elevator that you must take to reach your floor has seen better days and you must slide your room card to make the elevator move which speaks to the neighborhood that it is located in. Good location, close to train, GREAT front desk staff. Hotel little old. Hot tub / jacuzzi was not very clean, had some dirt on jacuzzi floor. Parking fees low (good point). Free wired internet (good point).

The best hotel of our two- week trip! The people were really nice and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The restaurant was fabulous. They had a workout room. My only reservation is that I would prefer an indoor pool, but that was a minor complaint. Also, it was very close to downtown Vancouver, so the location was convenient.

Being a stranger in Vancover, I appreciated the fact the security of the hotel made me feel safe. The down side is the smoking everywhere. Your entire staff was very accomadating. We thought we were booking downtown Vancouver .I feel you should have a designated area for smokers.

the hotel is alittle old, but very clean. the location is good, 7 mil. from down town. room was very nice with small living room with sofa (open to a bed) and small kitchen. nice bed room. the air- condition was very old and making noise. the price was fare but was with out breakfast.

We were in Burnaby for a seminar and the location of the hotel was perfect. Staff were very helpful and followed through with requests for cabs and directions. Only 20mins. from the sites in Vancouver it was a great deal when it included breakfast which was ample and well presented. All in all this was a good stay. I loved that it was close to the Skytrain with easy access to good food and shopping. There is a fee for parking and internet here. There is a Starbucks just down the street, so we didn't bother paying for the internet. The bathroom was pretty small, just enough space for the door to swing open. Great hotel, good location. Clean rooms, friendly & helpful staff. Fitness room really needs work. It smells, there's no cleaning spray for wiping down equipment after use, no water, and no small towels available. Pool was green and should be open since it's mid-May.

Hotel is conveniently located with easy access to most of metropolitan Vancouver. Area is quiet and all conveniences are within minutes. Hotel accommodation is comfortable and clean. Service is very good and staff is courteous. Restaurant in lobby is very good. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone on business or leisure.

Not bad for each price. Suite room wasn't necessarily huge, but adequate for a family of 3. Not as big as an Embassy Suite room. Although it came with a jacuzzi, we never used it...partly because it looked quite old. Front desk friendly. Nice, convenient location.

This hotel was pleasant in nearly every way, except one: they want you to pay $10/day for the privilege of using their wired high-speed internet in your room. It's not 2002 anymore guys: I expect connectivity, and I expect it to be free, and ideally it will be wireless. Although the hotel itself was just fine, I have to dock the hotel 2 full points […] for the egregious sin of charging a ridiculously high fee for internet, in this day and age. The neighborhood is a heavily commercial area, and is not particularly pleasant. There's a mall nearby, several other stores and fast food-ish restaurants of all types, and a train station. The hotel itself was not the easiest to find - it's tucked above the highway a few hundred feet from where the address appeared to be located on the map. Read more
