Only advantage this hotel has is that it is right next to Liberte Metro stop. Other than it, there is nothing positive. Rooms were hardly comfortable, service of the staff was horrible and breakfast buffet is a joke. Horrible hotel for family.

Nice, clean hotel. Free wifi. The hotel is quite convenient to the metro (so about 30 minutes to all the tourist sites). The Expedia rate is quite good, but there are two caveats: (1) you won't get the free breakfast. (2) the second bed in the "superior" room is just a sofa bed, so make sure your child(ren) is comfortable with that. The lack of free […] breakfast was not a problem. This was by far the best hotel that i've stayed at in Paris. It was also cheaper than other 2 star hotels that I have stayed at before. The room was very clean and had plenty of space. I did not eat any meals at the hotel restaurant, so I can't say anything about that. Overall, it was a great place to stay in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. If you don't mind a short 20-30 minute metro ride to get to the downtown attractions, this is the perfect place to stay! I like to travel on a budget and this place FAR exceeded my expectations. For a large chain hotel we found the novotel charenton very welcoming with friendly, helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable with all the facilities you would need for a short break. Centre of paris easily accessible via nearest metro station located a very short walk from the hotel entrance.

Staff were very friendly, The children loved the reception Xbox and free computer and were up early so they could wait in the reception... ie play with Xbox while waiting. The room was a bit warm as could only heat up room bit not cool it down, otherwise it was great.

Nice location and good service. I enjoyed my stay there except the metro station close to Hotel (Liberte) was closed due to maintenance and had to walk other close by Metro. Macdonald is 10 min walk away. I would consider to stay again if I visit there.

Modern and clean hotel. Underground parking convenient and quite easy metro access to centre of Paris. Double bed very comfortable but our two boys struggled sharing the sofa bed, next time will need twin beds in room. Otherwise no complaints.

The rooms are smallish for a family of 4 but overall set up very nice. Good security, play area for kids, computer area for convenience, great location to Metro and train station. Parking was secure @ 20 euros per day. Carpet in room was worn. Would stay again for price and overall value.

Big hotel just by the metrostation Liberté. Stayed friday - sunday. Really nice facilities,looked new and fresh. Staff very helpful, proffessional and smiling. The reception area was nice, if small. The room was nice, clean, not super fancy, but it didn't cost that much. Staff were very friendly and professional. The surrounding area is nice: quiet, leafy suburb with huge park a block away. Not walking distance to Paris city centre, but the metro takes around 20 minutes to get in. I would stay here again.

Very nice hotel, we used it for a motorcycle tour as it has a secure underground car park, and was only about 30mins walk to the centre of Paris. The twin room was a little small for two double beds but on the whole I was very happy with the stay. The staff were very helpful too.

I stayed in the hotel for 3 days with my wife and 7 month old baby and it was a blast, the hotel for starters (on short notice and gratis) gave us a complimentary baby cot which was immediately very useful. Our allocated room and Hotel in general were spotless and very comfortable, the staff we liaised with were always very polite and helpful to attend […] to all our requests and it wasnt a fluke. The hotel is a minute walk away from the Metro which is 20+ minutes way from Gare Du Nord (for the Eurostar travellers) and there's a small/ budget shopping mall with a supermarket also a few steps away from the hotel & with some other restaurants around the area, shame to have read someone's review, scoring the hotel low on the fact that it was 'far from Central paris' but hey, they never said it was located around the 'more Central' arrondissments. I wish we had access to a pressing iron in the room though. All in all, we were more than happy (especially my usually 'hotel conscious' wife) and we will surely be returning back. Read more

Good hotel with the Liberte metro stop in front of the hotel. However, it is a distance from central Paris and there are very few amenities close by (shops, only a couple of not so cheap restaurants). The hotel is clean, friendly and well maintained.

Arrivo in Hotel alle 21 chiedo conferma prenotazione: 1 camera 2 adulti 1 bambino 1 neonato, Riesco senza accedere nella camera per fare subito un giro di Parigi notturno in macchina, dopo aver girovagato per gli chams elysees, tour eiffel etc. rientriamo in albergo all'una di notte. saliamo in camera. La camera aveva solo un letto matrimoniale e un […] divano. Chiamiamo la recption, il personale sale per sincerarsi di persona ci chiede di avere pazienza si sposta per risolvere il problema, ritorna dopo 20 minuti. Ci viene proposto di cambiare piano e dividerci in due camere, cosa per noi assurda ... Ci viene dato un lettino per il bambino più piccolo chiuso e senza lenzuola... Non essendoci alternativa alle 2 ci arrendiamo e decidiamo di portare il materasso dell'altra camera per dormire tutti in una stanza. Alle sei del mattino suona l'allarme antincendio, falso allarme... L'indomani, distrutti, abbiamo dovuto ritirare tutta la roba nei bagagli per consentirci il cambio camera. Al rientro troviamo una camera "non superior", con divano letto chiuso e senza il lettino per il bambino più piccolo... Il bagno in tutte le 4 camere che ho visto e' diviso in due "stanze" il vaso in un ambiente 1x1m e il lavandino e la doccia, senza bidet, in una stanza separata, entrambe cieche... L'albergo è molto pulito. La posizione è ottima, a 20 mt dalla metro libertè con market e ristoranti appena fuori dall'albergo. Il personale è comunque molto gentile e disponibile.... Read more
