Except for a previous customer's dirty socks (reason for the "1") that were left under the pull out sofa, the rooms were clean and as expected. Given that it was Fasnacht, the hotel offered a reasonable room at a reasonable cost and I was able to book only two nights instead of 3 or 4 as required at other Basel hotels. The hotel was convenient for driving with parking below and was close to tram and bus stops. The staff was not very helpful. My guess is that they were transplants from other regions and weren't informed about the city. In an effort to answer questions, they did nothing more than to read the copied printouts of information provided by the hotel.

This hotel is in a good location (easy access from Tram #15 or 16) and close to SBB. Only having front desk from 8am-5pm was weird but actually worked fine. When I had problem with WiFi access they went out of their way to solve the problem, including calling me during the day to give me a status update. Room and bathroom were good size. TV sucked but that wasn't so important.

This was an ideal place for our one-night stay in Mulhouse. It's just a couple of blocks from both the historic center of the city and the main train... station, from which we departed in the morning. It's clean and attractive and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Beware, though: while the desk clerk had told us the hotel bar would be open till 1130pm, when we arrived at 1030 the bartender was already starting to shut down, and he wasn't at all pleased to have new customers. The hotel is in a perfect location - very close to the center of town, but just far enough away to not be disturbed by the crowds. Great Staff, multi-lingual and very helpful. Quality breakfast buffet and live entertainment at night. Only draw-back - no parking; one has to find a parking lot in the neighborhood and that can be expensive.

We were thrilled with the ambiance of this hotel. Some of the carpeting and tiles are looking a little worn, which is the only reason I rated the 4 above. We just returned from spending 4 nights at the Hotel du Parc in Mulhouse, Alsace, France. This is a beautiful property--classy 1920s art deco decor. The staff was attentive and personable. The room was clean, quiet, and relatively spacious. And the music in the bar was a delight. We look forward to our next chance to stay at Hotel du Parc!

We told the front desk staff that we wanted to be able to see a particular sporting event in the hotel bar. They worked hard to make sure that we were able to see the event, even calling other places in town when they were not sure that they could make everything work out for us. Wonderful surprise that such a classy hotel was so affordable. Easy to get to the center of town and the staff was very helpful giving directions and suggestions. Quiet and comfortable although the bed was very creaky.

Pros: very centrally located Cons: The room (single) was very small, The wifi connection didn't work properly, had to get a cable connection which was still very slow, The bathroom was way outdated. The toilet bowl was so old it was yellowish, the white ceramic tile floor was all stained and looked dirty, the vanity was stained. The whole bathroom […] badly needed a make-over. The room wanted to have a Art Deco feeling, but felt more like you were visited your grand-grandmother. Not worth a so called 4* Didn't use the parking since it costed €19... A rip-off!!!! Read more

If you need to get to Basel it is a good option to stay in Mulhouse and the hotel parc .However the staff of the hotel is influenced by a bad mannered hostess. Who you have to tackle to get what you paid for. It was not a great experience since also the lady can speak french!

Personnel sympathique qui n'arrive pas malgré tout à faire oublier les inconvients du genre , pas de room service le wk et petit déjeuner trop trop léger pour le prix! problème dans la salle de bain, à rafraichir sans plus attendre!

Charming old hotel from the old days but already needs some minor renovation. Hotel is near to center with walking distance. What spoiled this hotel was WIFI and Breakfast. It is said that WIFI is free but reception laydy told us that first 30 minutes is free and then we need to pay. Location is good if you need the convenience but the view is obscured unless you're on the top floor and the room and corridors are very poor quality and the walls are very thin. The concierge was very willing to help though.

Cet hôtel mériterait un GRAND rafraîchissement que ce soit à l'extérieur ou à l'intérieur. C'est tout sauf moderne, après c'est un style, mais là ce n'est pas entretenu ni bien fini. Ma chambre était grande, celle de ma collègue minuscule (genre chambre de bonne). J'ai eu du mal à trouver une prise de courant et j'ai quasiment inondé la SDB en prenant […] une douche ! Le personnel est agréable mais rien d'un service 4 étoiles (le voiturier ne vous aide même pas à mettre vos bagages dans votre voiture). Nous n'avons pas souhaité dîné chez eux (ambiance trop guindée), ni y prendre notre petit déjeuner (qu'ils osent facturer 19.50€). Read more

seit 30 jahren arbeit ich in der reisebranche aber dieses hotel war keine 2 sterne wert der teppichboden im zimmer war so schmutzig, dass man sich genau überlegen sollte ob man barfuss geht. an der rezeption wurde uns ein amerikanisches frühstück versprochen welches dann so aussah: roher schinken, gekochter schinken, angelaufener lachs, marmelade, müsli […] und ein kaffee der so durchsichtig war, dass man ihn gut als heisses zuckerwasser durchgehen lassen konnte. die Angestellten an der rezeption waren unhöflich und wussten überhaupt nicht bescheid egal was man sie fragte. fazit: über hotel.com jederzeit wieder buchen aber nie wieder dieses hotel. Perfekt hotel, vi var der da vi skulle i Bugatti-museum og hotellet befinder sig i gå-ben-afstand til centrum hvor der er caféer og andre arrangementer. Perfekt service i hotellet, søde og rare mennesker, rene værelser samt billigt wifi-internet. De har også privat parkering mod betaling.
