"Great bargain with lots of charm and comfort"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
I was visiting Cork on a budget, and had to find the cheapest place I could. Windsor Inn exceeded my expectations. The location is great for access to the city, the staff is first-rate. It's an inn over a pub, not a true B&B, but the pub serves great breakfasts and meals too. Live Irish folk music every night, what more could you want? The room - especially for the price - was comfortable and clean, better than some B&Bs I have stayed in. An old, old building (200+ years as an inn) but well-managed and well-maintained. You can't beat it for charm, convenience, and comfort. I will stay there again!

"Good Family Value"Reviewed by Brian B. of "New York, NY" on Mar 25, 2012
Corbett Court is listed as a luxury B&B and it fits the description. We had a family style room with a double bed and two singles with plenty of room to spare (the pictures on line a very accurate). We had college age kids with us, and all thought it was great. Large, clean, private bathroom. Location is perfect as a base or when stopping for the night between Cork/Waterford/Cashel/Kilkenny. It is not however a destination point close to a significant village with many pubs/restaurants. On site restaurant is a good family value for dinner and breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!

"Lovely Stay with a child"Reviewed by Joy H of "New York" on Jan 4, 2012
We visited betweeen Chrsitmas and New Years. Hands down the most delicious meal we ate in Ireland. Sadly while we were in the middle of ordering dinner my daughter made sick and we had to retire to our room. The staff took pitty on us and brought our three course meal to our room. My husband and spend the rest of our stay in our room caring for our daughter and we didn't get to take advantage of the beautiful grounds. We were impressed with the toy box and children's library. Our only disappointment came at checkout. We booked this stay with our Amex but were told at checkout that their card machine no longer accepted Amex. We just wished we were told that at check in. We would stay here again.

This was a beautiful property with fantastic views of the Burren and Galway. And Shane's sheep were an added bonus. The grounds were gorgeous and we enjoyed seeing the house cats. Our room was very comfortable and the food and staff service were excellent. However, the room did get a bit stuffy at night so i would suggest installing ceiling fans.

"Hotel next to UCC"
Beautiful manor house hotel next to University College Cork. This cozy hotel is very well run, with every comfort of a five star establishment including an indoor pool and spa. This was my second stay and I will definitely be back!

"The true beauty of a Hotel in Ireland"
My husband and I have by far rated this as one of the top hotels we have stayed in. We have traveled the world and stayed at the top 5 star hotels but this once top them all. The general manager came out of the hotel and welcomed us and then personally took care of checking us in. The hotel is magnificant. It felt very lush and yet very comfortable. "5 star on the outskirts of Cork"
A superb hotel. We went on room only - continental breakfast 12.50 pp on special offer!. Free wifi and dvds. Our only complaint was the location - a good 30mins walk in to Cork.
"Fabulous Hotel"
We had a great weekend stay in Hayfield Manor Hotel. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent and there was absolutly no prententiousness that you can some times get in 5 star hotels. Unfortunately we didnt get a chance to dine in the hotel but the food did smell amazing, we will certainly try it on our next visit. I gave 4 out of 5 for […] the surrounding neighbourhood as it does look a bit run down and I would imagine it would be a bit crazy during the college term but I wouldn't let it put you off. Read more

"Hayfield Manor Hotel"
Loved the lobby with fresh flowers at the entrance, life piano music and hotel's garden. Did not like lack of rooms for people with allergies. I booked the hotel for a weekend out with my boyfriend. We were checked in by an excellent receptionist (if I had a hotel, I would hire that lady). She was very helpful and extremely efficient. Then we were shown […] to our room. We liked it very much: big bed, soft carpet, dark curtains (good when you want to sleep long) and there was a garden view (blooming roses). There was a shower cabin and a bath in our bathroom. The only disadvantage was feathers in pillows, duvet. That is probably because birds' feathers are regarded to add a luxury touch to interiors. But if somebody is allergic to feathers, synthetic materials are the best. We made a complaint about that and soon two maids came to remove the pillows and the duvet and replace them with non-allergic ones. The maids could not recognize which pillows were to be taken away - so it had to be me to detect the traces of feathers in our room. We had to sleep by an opened window and take a lot of medicines to have a peaceful sleep. With this sorted, we went downstairs for a fantastic creme brulee and a bottle of wine. I enjoyed the atmosphere in the hotel and definitely would recommend it to all my (non allergic) friends. This is a great place for nature lovers and everybody, who wants to run away to a peaceful environment. Read more

"SEJOUR PAISIBLE A CORK"
L'hotel est a quelques metres du centre ville. Qualité du service hôtelier digne d'un 4 étoiles en France. A recommander
