as usual we had a nice stay .maybe next time we will come midweek as we could not always get in the pool . but we both like coming back to this hotel and the food is good to its a nice touch having a free glass of wine when we check in look forward to our next time there

Only very minor comment concerned dinner in that I believe a "Steak Meal" is better served on a warm plate rather tha a wooden board - the accompanying salad was heavyly dressed in Olive Oil not always to evertone's liking.

The hotel was ok, it was issues with staff that let it down. Everything was too much of an effort, from questions at the front desk, to cleaning the room properly. (Wet towels in bathrtub were rehung instead of changed. Bedding only pulled up, bins not emptied, etc)

This is a good hotel, with quick room service. The furnishing is very standard and slightly old. Great value for money though! Has gym and pool facilities too... only real downside is the location - it's a couple of miles from Fareham on a main road so a car/taxi is necessary to get there...

An excellent Holiday Inn with large bedrooms and all facilities. A very good swimming pool and jacuzzi and excellent quality food at Breakfast. Overall very good value for money.

Good value for a double room on Hotels.com. Also reception offered us vouchers for breakfast which was cheaper than buying it on the day at £8.95. Decent cooked breakfast too. Reception staff were very professional and friendly and the housekeepers that we met on the way to our room all went out of their way to say hello which was nice. Only downsides […] were no lift to the first floor so you have to use the stairs. We had an 87 year relative with us so that caused a little bit of difficulty. Also, the first floor smelt very smokey but this was by the smoking rooms so is to be expected.Bar closed far too early at 11pm which I thought unusual for a hotel.
