"Great staff and location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
Both rooms were quiet and we enjoyed the kind and helpful staff. Breakfast seemed a bit unorganized and food came for some at the table and not others. The fare was good. Overall a very good experience.
"Excellent small hotel outside city center"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 28, 2012
A very charming small hotel in the southwest part of Dublin. Staff were always friendly and helpful, breakfast was great. It is on a quiet street of brick townhouses. Finding it the first time was a challenge because Dublin is lacking in street signs- you never know what street you are on! It is one block from the sports stadium. It's a fairly long walk from the hotel to downtown, but the Dart train stop is one block away. You can take it to Trinity College and walk from there (1.65 euros; 2 stops) I would definitely stay here again.
"Very good location in Dublin"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 23, 2012
Rooms are small but nice, great location and free parking are a big plus. Staff very pleasing and helpful...It would have been nice to have the breakfast included in the price instead of an additional charge. We liked this hotel

"Comfort and a warm fireplace"
We had been having a lot of rain and really just wanted to go home! But upon checking into The Hotel, we were so comforted by the staff, especially Tasha and her tour of the lovely amenities. She served us drinks and made us comfortable in front of the warm fireplace and we said "Ahhh". The room was large with a lovely view, the bed very comfortable […] and the dinner superb. The staff did everything they could to make our stay wonderful, thanks, we'll be back! Read more
"Relaxing stay in quiet surroundings"
Service and staff were excellent.the hotel is a little out and away from activities but if you want a relaxing break, it's perfect .hotel itself is well kept with a warm and friendly atmosphere.gardens are not well maintained and need more work.
"Tinakilly Country House Hotel & Restuarant"
Thie hotel is different. It is a very nice country house converted into a hotel. The staff are very friendly, the food great and the the surroundings are very quiet & peaceful.
"Tinakilly House - Rathnew"
The place itself was really nice with a huge bedroom and bed. The best thing about it was the staff who were very friendly and the service was very good.
"Nice Stay !"
Lovely old-style house. Friedly staff. Clean, comfortable room. Only one downside, - the restaurant menu which was too sophisticated for our liking. We had to go to an external restaurant.

"Terrible service"
I have never felt compelled to write a negative review before, but our stay at tinakilly house has changed this. The rooms were nice and there is a cosy little bar, but there was a musty smell throughout the entire hotel. But it is an old country house so allowances were made for that. The real bugbear was with the reataraunt. Service was a disaster. We […] had booked the early bird sitting but when we arrived were not allowed to order from that menu! The meal was very average considering its price. Breakfast was like a scene from Fawlty Towers but our patience was wearing thin, waiting 40 minutes for our order to be taken. I was also promised a call from the manager to apologise for our experience here but have yet to hear anything. Life is too short to tolerate the poor level of service that is provided here. Did not come close to our expectations 0/5. If you are looking to stay in Wicklow there are many better hotels on this website in the locality that I would recommend ahead of here. Read more
Beautiful Hotel and grounds,(pity about the rain) great food and very friendly staff.
"Charming"
Beds were a little firm, but overall a nice stay. Beautiful grounds, large rooms with lovely views and curtious staff.
"tinakilly house wicklow"
good hotel and nice location ,staff helpful, good traditional breakfast ,but evening meal choice was very limited and expensive.
very pleasant stay in a rural setting but very close to wicklow town and county.
Wonderful. Cannot wait to go back. Food top quality also.
"A 'get-away-from-it-all' hotel"
We spent a lovely weekend at Tinakilly. Hotel has the grandeur of a previous centure with modern comforts. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good, plenty of options. Dinner excellent but expensive.

"Är som 5 stjärnor"
Hotellet är som 5 stjärnor kan man säga. Nästan som att bo på ett slott. Dock dyr middag för 35 EUR. Rummen var som att bo i en svit. Hotellet har gratis trådlöst internet i närheten av receptionen om man har egen laptop med sig. Tyvärr är det ingen täckning på själva hotellrummet. Dock är inte läget så bra. Är ca 3,5 km från Wicklow och det tog […] runt 30 min gå dit. Read more
"Sehr empfehlenswert"
Read more
