We have stayed at the same hotel on several different occasions and this time we just went through our regular online checks and booked the hotel. when we get there, we find out that the management has changed and they have literally changed all the rules which were not updated on hotels.com and we did not find out about them until we got there. The […] whole first floor was closed for renovation and paint job was being performed on the first floor and the outside trees were being cut, etc. they should have kept the location closed until they transition to their desired lok and feel under the new management. Front desk calling us to vacate the room after the first night when we did the booking for 2 nights (mis-communication). Pets not allowed anymore but no notice while booking. Pets were allowed earlier. Wonderful cooked hot breakfast every morning under earlier management and being replaced by frozen goodies soon. I will never ever stay in another one of these hotels again!!! My family and I were disgusted ...rooms were not clean just smelled like they had gone in and sprayed an entire bottle of lysol....toilets were dirty..the sheets for the pull out sofa sleeper were dirty and crumbled up inside the square ottoman ...I was so grossed I didnt even want to use […] their towels or sheets.ended up using my own. Everything was great. It even smelled nice when you walk in to the hotel lobby, halls. Rooms very nice. Breakfast Very Good. Its nice to have a hot breakfast. Beds were very confortable. The new ower was on site n was real nice. Was on top of things for what I saw. Will stay again if n when i have more then 4 people.

It was horrible! I stayed 3 days and they didn't clean the room until the last day. Everybody there had an attitude like it was my fault that the hotel was horrible. There were no towels in the hotel, I ended up going but my own towels from a local store.

The room was not clean, the table has something spilled on it and not cleaned up, the carpet was dirty, the comforter was dirty and smelled, the recliner had a tear in it and the seat cushion was soiled, the toilet was not cleaned at all for quite some time under the toilet seat.

This was our second trip to Lafayette in the past 3 months...It was worse this time then the last. Do these reviews even make it to the hotel itself? They really need to read these comments. Booked room due to the fact that there was an indoor pool, spa and spa tub. There was no spa and we were set up in a handicap room with no tub. Pool area was nice but we had to cut our time short due to adults drinking in the pool area.

I have stayed at this location on numerous occasions and love it. This trip was very noisy. Other guests were inconsiderate & let doors slam every morning when going for breakfast. Much loud talkimg in hallways morning, afternoon and late night. The last two trips were noisy.. I will wait awhile before going back and trying again.

Even though the front desk was very friendly and the location was close to where we were going, this hotel left little else to be complimented. From the smoke alarm hanging from the ceiling by wires, to the 1990 tube televisions in the room. Then there were the smells. The breakfast was great, a nice hot breakfast included with your hotel is a very nice perk. The furniture was a bit dated, but the location of the hotel is great. It is pet friendly with a very nice area to walk your dog. We would stay there again.
