We were very suprised and greatly enjoyed our stay at the Chesterfield. European feel, a tad worn, though very nicely decorated. Staff was wonderful.

The Chesterfield is unique and very charming little hotel. We experienced great personal service during our quick visit. The hotel itself has lots of character and is in a fabulous location that is in walking distance to all the best that Palm Beach has to offer. The rooms are tastefully decorated, but compared to most hotels that we stay in, are in need of refurbishment. The wall unit was a major disappointment as we had a hard time regulating the temperature of the room. A visit to the bar is a must- you will see lots of the characters that Palm Beach is legendary for! For a unique Palm Beach experience, stay at the Chesterfield.

Great location, staff was hot and cold. Some of them outright rude, others very pleasant. I got the impression that they treat guests that do not book through them directly get the smallest room and a snotty attitude! When I asked for a larger room with a view they wanted to charge an additional $50 per night. The room was not worth what I paid. No shower pressure. I would like to reccomend this hotel but it is very difficult!

Mostly the people working there were friendly and helpful. The room was small but felt like a room in an inn not a hotel. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable and had nice bedding! It's located in a mostly residential area which makes it nice to come "home" to. You are walking distance from the beach and 2 blocks from Worth Ave. The intercoastal is down the street too. Very nice area. Very nice hotel. A short drive to The Kravits Center and City Place.

Very cute boutique hotel. The rooms are small, yet clean and cozy. The staff were attentive in the hotel and in the restaurant. It has a cigar/ smoking room decked out in darker wood with couches and chairs, computer and humidor. A small courtyard is off the bar, which is part of the restaurant. An interesting meal while viewing the ceiling. Ask your sever the story behind it. We watched fireworks from the roof, on a tip from the bartender. Plenty to talk about at dinner, believe me. The location is a 4 block walk to the beach and 1 block from the river.

If you appreciate old world, English charm, this is the place to stay. Guests are greeted by a friendly concierge seated at a Queen Anne desk (not a long counter top) with tea and irresistably fresh chocolate chip cookies within too easy reach. Rooms are very well decorated with English chinze while the hotel decor abounds with palm and animal trompe l'oeil. All our requests for service were acted upon instantly.Hotel is very well located in a lovely residential area only 2 blocks from Worth Ave. and the beach. We've stayed here twice and look forward to returning again and again.

The hotel and the room were small, but nice, but the mosquitos were a real problem -- we could not stay by the pool or in the garden/outdoor eating area because of them. Additionally, the food at the hotel's restaurant was not what one would expect for the reputation and price (go to Ta-Boo on Worth Avenue instead). Also, avoid getting a room over the restaurant if you are staying there on the nights that they have live entertainment -- it can get quite loud.

Outstanding luxury at a reasonable price. Charming hotel with luxury comforts such as triple sheets, beautiful bed and bedding, fluffy pillows, plasma TV, etc. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Location is fantastic. Five minute walk to Worth Avenue shops and ten minute walk to the ocean. The hotel restaurant food was top quality and had live music (pianist). My husband and I definitely enjoyed a Romatic Getaway at this "Small Luxury Hotel". We would definitely stay there again.

This is a lovely hotel and the service is wonderful but a bit formal. Rooms are really small and feel a bit claustrophobic although they are nicely decorated. When we visited, the pool area was deserted and it was a really nice place to relax. However, be warned there is quite a formal atmosphere (strict dress code for the bar-no shorts!) and the "leopard lounge" is not the hotspot we were led to believe. Think upmarket bar with 70's style cabaret and the older generation smooching to ballads - not really the taste of Palm Beach on a Saturday night we were hoping for.
