      We had the "two bedroom condo" and it was more than spacious. The apartment was equipped with a mini-kitchen and two single sofa beds in the living room, as well as a full dining room table and sofa chair. It's perfect for family stays. The staff and service were also exemplary.

      We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Though not on the beach (there are no real beaches in La Rochelle), the hotel faces the harbor, giving you a scenic, peaceful, view from your window (get a room with a balcony -- even better). The hotel reception personnel are extremely friendly and helpful. Be sure to ask for a map of the area and suggestions for parking in town. There are really no eating options close to the hotel (no coffee maker in the room either), but town is a short drive away. Parking is on premises and wi-fi is accessible in your room.

      The good Walking distance form the old town Nice size room Clean nice towels and linen Good size room Nice modern TV 2 News English channels Air Con Good reading light The bad Poor amenities No refrigerator The pillows were very thin and uncomfortable. The European style covers were very heavy for this time of year. There are all one piece so you can’t take just the sheet. Too hot with the cover and too cold without it made for a very uncomfortable night. Even though this was the most expensive hotel so far, breakfast was not included and at 12 Euros a person very high for what they served. Parking is also an extra 8 Euros

    Brilliant location...you walk straight out onto the yacht basins, and all the bars and restaurants etc are close by. Usual well planned accomodation and lovely to have it hidden behind the face of an old church.

    Excellent location near the old town and a short walk from the train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. A comfortable room, even if a little tired looking. We were happy to have stayed there.

    The Ibis was a great hotel for the price, we arrived from an early morning flight and were concerned that we would have to wait until after midday to check in, but no problem, we had our room at 10am. The receptionists was courteous, endlish speaking and couldn't do enough to help us with stuff like WiFi access etc. The rooms were clean and tidy and […] everything worked as it should. The only slight problem is with parking, I would advise anybody who has a car to book the garage in the Hotel as early as possible, as places are limited. Read more
