We would like to apologize for the perception that this has fallen “deaf ears.” I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that we attempted to reach out but the phone number that you provided us goes straight to voicemail but the voicemail account has not been set up so we are unable to leave a message. Based on the initial notification of this lost Ipod Touch we contacted the housekeeper, the room inspector, and also the manager on duty and a thorough inspection of this room took place and an Ipod Touch was not found in this room. At that point in time we obtained your contact info, a description of the lost item as well as info on the last time that you remembered seeing the Ipod Touch. Since there was a couple day gap from the time to you remember seeing and reporting it lost we were unable to confirm if it was lost in the room or other location. It was noted that we would be in contact if the Ipod was turned in. We apologize that you feel this fell on deaf ears but we have taken action and attempted to reach out. "It was just alright"
It was just alright.. First night there a college frat had rented the ball room witch is there right obviously but rather annoying to have to deal with all those kids running around room was alright for what I paid nothing special per say so over all it was just alright

"A 1 star hotel with 4 star hotel pricing"
This hotel is expensive but not at all nice. Floors are dirty. Staff is inattentive. Cleaning staff does not provide additional hygiene staff as part of their normal routine of cleaning. Beds are terrible. Noisy hotel. I am so disappointed I wasted my money here.

"Excellent hotel"
Excellent overnight stay on our travels. We got an upgrade to a jr suite complimentary. Food was good at the restaurant. The fireplace and lounge in the lobby welcoming.

"Overall decent."
The hotel was nice overall. The main complaint I have is that it was very noisy during the night. My husband and I could hear water running and creaky pipes the entire night. We didn't really sleep. Breakfast ran until 10, which was nice.

"$50 Pet Fee added to Room"
The room nice, tidy and smelled wonderful. The only problems we had were that the Yes it's dog friendly for a $50 added fee, and the heater didn't work(we stayed in January) and the toilet clogged easily. It's definitely not a brand new bathroom. Overall it was clean,close to resturantes and Target, desk was polite, however seemed not to want to address the heating issue.

"Nice hotel and the hotel was nice."
Nice hotel, well kept, updated interior, in a convenient location. Service was friendly but fair. Chaotic at check-in with children running around and using computer chairs to race in each other in the lobby. Room provided was a handicap (I understand the importance of this room and that it needs to generate revenue...heads up would have been appreciated). Next morning the coffee station was broken down at or before 10am. Never saw more than 1 person at the front desk, wait was long getting in and out. This all may be overly critical especially given it was during the holidays. That being said, I selected this hotel at a 10-20% premium over others -- the property was nice, service okay (a few small tweaks and it could have been a completely different experience).

"Nice but Not For the Price"
We stayed here for two nights over the New Years holiday. The holiday was nice and we enjoyed the trees behind our room, viewed from our window. The room we were placed in was nice however we did feel a bit disconnected with the main hotel. There was no contact with the staff members and amenities other hotels provide when in the same building. (For example, coffee, breakfast, newspapers, lobby accessibility, carts and so on.) If we had to ask a question we had to go across the parking lot in the cold weather, not very accommodating. Additionally the prices were very high for the quality of the room and amenities. We paid about $200 per room with an additional pet charge of $100 - definitely not worth the price. The hotel room was hard to sleep in because the heater was very, very loud (sounded like a boiler room) and we had to turn off our heat the entire night to sleep and it was teens outside. We would not go back to this hotel for the prices and lack of sleep.

We do have two buildings -- some guests prefer the 'separation' and quiet provided by the back building and the view of the trees mentioned. There is a 'sky bridge' located on the 3rd floor with covered access between the buildings. That being said, guests should feel free to make room requests at point of reservation or upon checkin and, based on room availability, our team is happy to accommodate. **Note: We do have specific pet rooms, guests traveling with pets are required to stay in these rooms that typically have more direct access to exterior locations needed by the pets. We do hope on a future visit you'll give us the opportunity to serve you again.

"Awesome trip!"
Check-in was quick, the room was exactly what I expected it to be. We ordered extra sheets and pillows and received them promptly. Service was, great and staff was friendly. Check-out took 90 seconds and we were on our way. Great stay!

"Nice hotel, service could be better."
I've stayed there before and had a great experience, this one was not as good. I am mindful that it was the week after Christmas and it was very busy. There was a domestic very loud fight going on in the hall way at 11:30 pm, had to callled security 3 times to have them defuse it but it took 3 calls to have them come before it got worse. House keeping never took out dirty glasses and did not replace the coffee cups, had to call for new ones. House keeping never came one day, we got back to the room at 5pm and house keeping still had not come, had to call. I don't mean to complain about things, but I've stayed there before and enjoyed a much better stay. I would still stay there again, I have to believe the poor service was due to the exceptionally busy week. But over all it is a great hotel to stay in while in Flagstaff!

"Fine except for sink"
Everything was fine and comfortable,except the bathroom sink had three cracks in it. I took a picture of it and showed it to the desk clerk. The manager apologized for it and gave us coupons for a free drink at the bar.

A nice, modern hotel. The Christmas decorations in the lobby were superb. We had lots of fun. The desk chair in our was filthy. We had to call housekeeping to clean it.

"Worst Doubletree I've seen"
We had to switch rooms because the first one had a cracked sink and dirty shower. The second room still had a bathroom that badly needed updating and caulking and grout cleaning and wallpaper repair. This was by far the worst Doubletree I have ever stayed in.

Bad, bad, bad. Toilet won't flush. Room service and response are very very very very slow. Like they say the ETA is 5 mins, after another call and 30 minutes, with another call they say that no one will help you, you are on your own. This is for the toilet problem.

"Great Flagstaff area hotel"
Great hotel in Flagstaff; nicely decorated for the holidays, complete with carolers on the weekend evenings. The only knock was that it is a bit far to walk to downtown but that is easily remedied with a taxi or similar service. Great service in the hotel, very nice rooms. I'd definitely stay there again.

"Chelsea's snow day"
Brought my oldest daughter up to see the snow. Only a little when we got there but it snowed the last night we were there. Worked out perfect! Enjoyed the teppan & some sushi at the in house Japanese restaurant. Close to downtown for shopping & restaurants.

"Decent and safe, friendly staff."
Just an overnight on the way to Moab. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient. No breakfast though, as they have an attached restaurant. Free coffee in the lobby however.

"Rooms were dirty"
The staff was friendly, but the rooms were dirty. First room, bed and shower were full of hair. We called and got moved to another room, which had dirt on the bathroom floor, feces stains in the toilet, and urine stains on the outside of it. We moved again, and finally the 3rd room was ok.

"great hotel"
my 2nd stay here and a great improvement on the last. Hotel staff are great and very attentive. Only drawback was the sauna does not heat and after a long workout was looking forward to that. Its a small thing to some but to me means a great deal.

It may be best to heat during your workout so that it's ready for you after. "Not Impressed at All"
The hotel room felt suffocating. There was little air flow unless you turned on the fan or opened the door. The concierge also called out room (without permission) at 8 AM in the morning and woke up me, my husband and our 15 month old daughter. She claimed she wanted to offer me $17 room rates (which ended up having a catch to it). She also said she had a departure gift. It ended up being 2 little water bottles and 2 granola bars. In my opinion, it was a rude wake up call so that customers leave sooner then later.

"What a long night!"
Was a long night. Checked into room and within minutes the sink was making a loud "burping" noise. Was VERY annoying. Called front desk to let them know they needed to look at and they said they would send someone up but that we were struck in that room because they were full. A guy came up to check it and said it was some line from the air conditioner to the drain making the noise. Said he would make a note and change it out after we checked out the next day. Suggested we keep the bathroom door closed to help muffle the sound. About 2:00 we were awoke from people screaming and carrying on outside below our room. After 30 minutes of this (not sure how hotel staff didn't hear them) we finally called the front desk to complain. They said they would send someone out. Took them about 15 minutes to send someone. They then we were wide awake and got to lay in bed and listen to the sink make noise. Was never so glad to having morning come so we could get up and leave.

"Nice hotel with full amenities"
Just an overnight stay while dropping my son of at NAU. My room was reasonably large, had an excellent desk with plenty of power outlets. There are two restaurants on site, although I only had breakfast. The bar is small but nicely lit with excellent bartenders. In fact, all of the staff were extremely polite, attentive and professional. The hotel is not inexpensive, however, and I was disappointed by the Wi Fi signal - I ended up using my mobile hot spot. Having said that, no hotels in Flagstaff at this time of year are cheap and I feel that the rate was competitive.

The hotel was terrific. It is not terribly fancy but very comfortable. It is very close to Northern Arizona University so if you are moving your son or daughter in to the school, it is an excellent place to stay.

"Convenient location in Flagstaff"
The hotel was nice and the staff was very helpful. I enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies. There was free coffee in the morning, but they ran out pretty quickly. I was bummed that they were doing construction and the pool was closed. They should have let people know when they are booking. I really wanted to go swimming. The second floor lobby smelled like disinfectant and they were doing construction on the roof.

"Never received less for my money."
A Motel 6 would have been a better choice. Our room was on the 1st floor and very inconvenient. The staff didn't seem to know that our room existed. The AC did not work. The bed was bad - very bad. The food at the hotel was very lacking. I sure that something was adequate - but I can't remember what it would be.

"Won't Get Fooled Again"
Disappointed that we were placed in the spillover building where the walls and ceilings are paper thin so there in no sound privacy. The cleaning help does not understand what a do not disturb sign means. Prior to my stay, the front desk manager could not tell me if my room had a refrigerator or not. I've stayed at this place a few other times and it was fine. This visit is my last. You can get the same quality for a lot less $$.

"Clean and nice but not "home"."
We arrived later in the evening for a one night stay. Quickly checked in and got to room, which was in secondary building but no big deal. Guest check in was polite but not really friendly. There are limited perks for being a nice hotel. Fridge but no microwave in room but room is very nice. Like many hotels sadly disturbed by stomping and talking from room above. Biggest downer really was lack of morning services. They have a sit down cafe for breakfast but I guess although much more outdated and not as polished I really enjoyed last stay in Flagstaff at the Ramada, which was just down the street from DoubleTree. Not as nice of a room, but had fridge and microwave, very friendly staff and a full breakfast in the mornings for guests, much nicer for longer stays in the area.

"Good location."
Sushi restaurant was below my experiences with other sushi bars around the world. Super small pieces of sushi!!!!
