The Westin was perfect! Stayed in a suite with friends for a weekend away. The hotel was clean and the service was great. The location is perfect for walking and dining in the old port and totally accessible if you want to spend time downtown or further North. No complaints!

We only stayed the one night at Place d'Armes hotel, on our way back to Vancouver and then home, but we wished we had more time, and will return. The hotel staff were both welcoming and efficient (not a combination one often finds), and the hotel itself was immaculate in every respect. The room was flawless in its design, the bed was soft enough to be comfortable, but not so soft as to feel like one is clambering from a bean-bag, upon rising, (as I found in so many hotels in the States!) I particularly appreciated that the designers had eschewed a bath/shower combination in the large bathroom, and installed a large, stone-clad, walk-in shower with a beautiful glass shower screen, instead. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Old Town Montreal by foot, which was just what we wanted to do, since we only had the one night. When we checked out, we left our luggage with Place D'Armes, mentioned when we would return for our flight and, when we did, a taxi was already awaiting us. Immaculate service.

Room was good - a great value for the price! Just a few minor complaints - TV remote didn't work; a little noisy late at night (Saturday night; we were next to the elevator). Beds: very comfortable. Pillows, not so much (overly firm). Bathroom small but clean, bath/shower good, water pressure and temperature fine. Nice pool, adequate gym. Convenient in/out parking, reduced price with hotel validation. Front desk staff: helpful and polite.

Hotel Ruby Foo's is located 10 minutes from downtown Montreal and Pierre-Elliot Trudeau International Airport. Hotel Ruby Foo's is the ideal location for the business traveler. "Almost there"
For those who need to stay semi-industrial Decarie area, a good find. Rooms clean, service nonpareil, free parking, close to airport and Laurentians. Downside is bar close too early (11:30--this is Montreal, isn't it) and breakfast in adjoining restaurant--tres ordinaire.
"Ruby Foo's - Not downtown, but not bad at all"
Hotel Ruby Foo's is a bit away from downtown, but easy access to highway and convenient to crosstown streets to outer neighborhoods made this a good "home base" for our 3 day stay. Taxis were easy to get to and from, too. Room was clean and modern, beds/pillows/blankets were very comfortable and the on-site restaurant was awesome! "Wonderful and relaxing"
My husband and I needed to visit someone in the hospital and we joined it with a relaxing 24 hour get away. I chose Ruby Foo's as I had seen the restaurant changes and the addition of a hotel. I used to eat quite often at Ruby Foos when I was a little girl. So it was nostaligic to come back and spend a relaxing time and we ate at Majong and enjoyed […] every mouthful and calorie and it was close to the hospital we needed to visit. "Hotel Ruby Foo's @ Montreal"
My stay at the Ruby Foo hotel was pretty relaxing. I was very impressed by how big the washroom was. The bed was incredibly comfy and the sheets were soft. The only thing that I'd like to see an improvement on is the water pressure in the shower.

hôtel pour gens d'affaires à cause de sa situation près de nombreuses industries. Pas possible de manger à l'hôtel après 22h, pas de room service, ni distributrice. Absence de coffre fort pour un 4 * !!!
