Not a lot close by. Was traveling for businesses to the SPCA which was in within walking distance. Very nice place.

Best bed I've ever slept in . So comfortable. I like a dark room so sunlight deosn't come streaming in in the morning, this was perfect. Not near the Metro, but we were there for a family event and not looking to be near downtown Montreal. Very clean, updated furniture and fixtures. Have stayed here many times and would come back again.

Nice clean room. Helpful and polite staff. Beds were a bit hard. Could not connect to wifi. This hotel is right on a major road, but we could not hear the traffic or sounds from other rooms.

I needed to stay somewhere clean and functional with a decent restaurant near a business address I was visiting in Montreal. This place came up on hotels.com - it's a fun Chinese themed place with a good restaurant and good front desk staff. I'd stay again anytime. Free parking too.

The hotel is just outside the city, right next to the highway. We booked here because it was a little cheaper and had free parking. It advertised being right next to the metro, which is was (about a block down the street). There's are really any great restaurants around that area (mostly chains), but with the metro so close, we easily went in and out […] of the city. The metro ride into town was 10-15 minutes depending on where you wanted to go. Subway was very safe. The hotel was clean. There was a pool, which was an added bonus (although could use a little cleaning). Our car was safe while we were there, and not having to pay $20 a day for parking gave us money to spend elsewhere. We would stay here again. The breakfast for $6.95 is simple (eggs, bacon, homefries, yogurt, cereal, fruit), but worth the money if you're in a rush. Read more

The hotel is conveniently located to downtown Montreal and being next to Route 15 made it easy to explore the countryside as well. Was in Montreal for Training. The location was perfect for travel to the industrial area and to downtown, and the room was is very good condition. The only part of the hotel that disappointed me was the fitness center (Le Workout). It is definetely in need of an update, or at least some new Cardio equipment.

For those who need to stay semi-industrial Decarie area, a good find. Rooms clean, service nonpareil, free parking, close to airport and Laurentians. Downside is bar close too early (11:30--this is Montreal, isn't it) and breakfast in adjoining restaurant--tres ordinaire.

Hotel Ruby Foo's is a bit away from downtown, but easy access to highway and convenient to crosstown streets to outer neighborhoods made this a good "home base" for our 3 day stay. Great hotel about 10mins away from the city. We stayed here (for one night) on our second night in Montreal. To our surprise, it wasn't that from of a drive to the city. The room was clean, big and comfortable. The price was very reasonable. And the parking was free. Would love to stay there again on our next visit.

We had a very comfortable king sized bed with nice linens, pillows and duvet. Free wireless internet. Free parking. Easy access to Decarie Expressway. Only negative in our experience was that the towels were thin and scratchy.

The staff were wonderful! We had a minor problem and they went over the top to fix it immediately and to my complete satisfaction. The easy access to Highway 40 and to the Namur Metro station make this a most convenient location. The Spa Evita onsite is GREAT too, highly recommended.

The bathroom is very tired and worn, tiles are chipped which makes you think it is dirty when it's not. The hotel is near a police station and the sirens disturbed your sleep. A well-located hotel on Decarie & Hwy 40, particularly if you are traveling by car. A two block walk to the Metro and then you have access to most of Montreal. The hotel was very clean and the staff helpful and professional. This is now our go-to place when driving to Montreal.

My wife and I stayed over the past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms (at least during our stay) were very quiet and clean. Our room, which was a king bed suite, was spacious and the sliding black-out panel on the window gave us a great night's sleep. The lone minuses, at least to some, would be the fact it is seven to ten subway stops away from the downtown core. However it is only a few blocks away from Namur station. You will pass a strip club, an expressway, and a few fast food restaurants. It isn't pretty but it is safe. So, if you don't mind not being in walking distance to your hotel, which we certainly didn't as we were barely there, then Ruby Foo's is certainly an affordable and pleasant place to stay. Read more
