Center Way Hotel Tonawanda - Tonawanda

I've stayed here in the past and was satisfied as I was this time around. The rooms are small but very clean. Continental breakfast daily was nice. No in-room coffee pot but in room safe. For the price I would definitely stay here again, but as I said, rooms are small so if you're looking for a luxury room this is not it.

The room was falsley advertised. The room was a lot smaller than the pictures showed. I believe that this was pulled off by way of angle when the photos were taken. On a lighter note I appreciate the policy of "No Refund" being waived due to a family emergency that I had to return to Rochester. Thank you for your kindness.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Decent continental breakfast. Easy access from highway. My only complaint is the room size. This used to be a Microtel-and still uses the signage. Very small room, but overall a pleasant stay.

This hotel is next to Highway and it is extremely noisy if you get the side that is facing the highway. We had difficult time sleeping in. Plus there is no sound barrier between the rooms wall. The person next to our room were using the washroom and we could hear the sound of tap water and toilet flush.We were in Buffalo for the black friday shopping […] and were extemely tired, still we could go to sleep till almost 1 am. I stayed there last summer when it was a Microtel. If I hadn't known were it was located I never would have found it! There is NO sign and it is located in a very off the road location that CAN NOT be seen on the main highways! Room was comfortable. Bathroom OK. Nice continental breakfast - but no fruit.

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay (6 nights), but our reservation information stated that a refrigerator was part of the room amenities and there was no refrigerator. One of our medications needed to be refrigerated.

Although the room was quite small, it was very clean and comfortable (except for the soft mattress which seems to be the norm for motels). Staff was very cordial, and breakfast was better than most budget-type motels (but didn't have any fruit). I would NEVER stay at this hotel again! And, I would seriously consider never choosing Microtels, if this is an example of their hotels. First of all, smoking was allowed on the second floor. The bad starts with the name of the hotel. It is micro tel. There is not even single sign in the name of center way either on street or inside the hotel. The hall ways smell really bad. The website doesn't tell us that this is a Microtel franchise - if it included that name I would have skipped the reservation. The room was truly "micro" - no chair to sit on, just a bed & a cushion-seat at the window. I found someone's pair of underwear in the drawers under the window seat! First of all take note that this hotel is a Microtel, not Center way hotel of Tonawanda. I am not sure why they aren't updating their Expedia account name or their signs in front of the hotel. Second of all despite the Expedia page saying that they have fridges in each room, they have no fridges; so if you are traveling with kids, wife and have perishables […] you can't reasonably keep the perishables cold.
