An easy walk from the train station towards the center of the city. The staff provided a warm welcome. While the room rate was reasonable, the buffet breakfast seemed overpriced.

Overall the hotel is great and served our purpose. The staff at the front desk were great. They directed us to a very nice restaurant/brewery that was about a 5 min walk. Several bakeries and stores were along the same route. The room was comfortable and decent-sized for a European hotel. Bathroom was a bit outdated, but everything was very clean, and […] quiet, even being in a room next to the elevator. Only issue we had, in the morning we wanted coffee. The hotel services book in our room stated that free coffee and tea services were offered to guests and to ask the front desk. We asked the front desk and they sent us to the restaurant to get coffee. A couple of us managed to get a cup but one person in our party ended up being not-so-pleasantly talked to by a restaurant server and then charged for the cup of coffee. Hotel staff were rude, unpleasant and unhelpful. The room was adequate for an overnight's stay although is in need of modernisation. The hotel was easy to find and easy to access from outside of the city. There is very limited free parking (3 spaces) outside the hotel so we had to stay in a nearby garage for €10 per night (a special 'discount' rate […] through the hotel). The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city centre, next to the zoo, and is a reasonably short (15-20 mins) walk from the plentiful bars and restaurants in the old centre. We did not opt for breakfast as the €19 per person charge was extortionate when there are some nice cafés next to the hotel that will provide the same for a tenth of the price. Overall, the hotel was fine for an overnight stay but I would not want to spend longer here. Read more

Alles war recht gut, angenehm, mit Hund ein wenig schwierig, da doch zum Versäubern sich dies recht schwierig gestaltet, in einem ca 7min. entfernten Park, zu viele Obdachtlose, menschliche Exkremente, u.a. Aber wer im Stadtzentrum wohnen will, sehr gute Lage, sauber, das Personal hilfsbereit.

Wir waren zwar nur für eine Nacht im Hotel, aber vom Personal und auch von den Standartzimmern waren wir sehr angetan. Wenn man mit einen Hund wie wir in dieses Hotel fährt, sollte man vorher wissen ob mein Hund Fahrstuhl tauglich ist, da es einige Stockwerke in die Höhe gebaut wurde.

Das Eincheken verlief problemlos und zügig, auch nach 22 Uhr.Die Lage des Hotels macht es möglich innerhalb von 5-10 min zu Fuß an alle relevanten Plätze innerhalb von Karlsruhe zu gelangen. A very clean and modern looking hotel. Staff was nice. Beds and room were comfortable and good size. I did not purchase the breakfast, which was a ridiculous price: over 15 Euros. But this is a business hotel, so I'm sure many companies pay. There is a Rewe supermarket a few blocks away if you want a cheaper breakfast. The problem is the location. It […] is at least 10 minutes walk one direction to the city center, and about 10 minutes walk the other direction to the main station. There is not much on the walk from the hotel to the destinations (e.g., lack of cafes, bakeries, shops, etc.). This makes for a quiet stay (not much traffic in the area, and a zoo across the street). The only other negative was the old TVs in the room. They are very large and the picture is fuzzy and "flips" at times. I don't watch a lot of TV while on vacation, but it's nice to have it on when getting ready for the day, and the quality is terrible and distracting. Read more

Die Zimmer könnten besser sein, aber vielleicht war unseres auch nicht repräsentativ. Jedenfalls konnten wir in der Nähe kostenlos parken und es war vom Service her sehr freundlich. Es hat auch sonst alles soweit gepasst, aber für Romaniker oder Verwöhnte wohl eher nicht das Richtige.
