Super 8 Motel - Russellville - Russellville

We usually stay in much pricier hotels but I have to say that I was very impressed with this hotel. I've slept on more comfortable beds and had more offered for breakfast but I believe the room in this hotel was cleaner than the last few higher end hotels. I would definitely stay here again. A great hotel for the price.

The person who checked me in was especially nice and helpful, he helped me figure out things to do around Russellville and Oklahoma City, which was my next stop, and he had also just made some fresh cookies right before I had checked in, yay cookies! The hotel itself was directly off I-40, it was clean and quiet and looked like it was well kept up […] with. The only problem I had was the surroundings, the area is filled with hotels and restaurants and I was a little concerned for my car, which was filled to the brim because I was moving across country, and also a little worried about going out on my own at night as a lone female. The Super 8 in this town was very clean and comfortable. The location was easy to find and the staff were friendly. This was our first visit to this hotel and I would recommend it to my family and friends.

We stayed for three days. The room was cleaned and restocked each day. Excellent service.

The hotel was comfortable and clean, but when you walk into the lobby you can smell cigarette smoke. It is not the same as a non-smoking hotel, but the non-smoking room wasn't smelly. There is a complimentary breakfast that we didn't take advantage of as we were driving 12 hour days and only used the place to sleep. The mattresses are very comfortable […] and the room and bathroom were clean. The hotel is just off the freeway, and there are signs to follow, but you should know to turn in to the lot and drive past the Waffle House. All in all - no complaints. Read more

The room was clean.. that was a definite plus. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. However, everything was old and worn. For example, a piece of baseboard was pulled out on the bathroom wall which shows that obvious needed repairs have not been made. The bed was overly soft and lumpy... just an old mattress that should have been replaced […] a long time ago. The overall smell in the entire place was unpleasant-- it smelled "stale" and strongly reminded us of cigarette smoke throughout the hotel. If we had not already pre-paid, we would have turned around and walked away in response to the musty, stale odor that hit us when we first walked into the lobby. It was obvious that the carpets were freshly vacuumed and the bathroom floor (and entire bathroom) was very clean. But, somehow the cleaning staff has not been able to get rid of the stale smell. In my husband's words, "it smells like years of cigarette smoking have happened in this hotel." The continental breakfast was cold danish pastries, loafs of bread for making toast, bagels, waffle batter with waffle maker, and dry cereal. It included milk, juice, and coffee. I realize that many guests would be satisfied with that kind of "continental breakfast", but I think it's helpful to let potential guests know what to expect. Clean, comfortable and quiet, close to restaurants as well as the interstate. Breakfast offered a nice variety. All in all, a good value for the money.

Check-in was quick and cordially pleasant. The room had a large work area for laptop + paper files AND a very comfortable easy chair with good lighting for casual reading. Cleanliness was impeccable, breakfast was standard (juice, cereals, pastries, coffee and tea -- I don't recall if this place offered waffles) for this price range. The separate dining […] area was nice, and the overall quietness was great. Caveat: ithe unmarked driveway between the Waffle House and gas station (you drive past to reach the hotel) is difficult when you know where it is, impossible otherwise. Fortunately, there is a 2-way left-turn lane on Arkansas Avenue, because traffic can be fast and heavy in both directions -- at the same time. Read more

Our room was unclean and very musty smelling! We were VERY disappointed in our accomodations and will NEVER make this mistake again!

What a great place, and the management was first class. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. Very clean, quiet, and well run. I will stay here again on my next trip. Nick -Rocks!

When we went to the motel the individual who was supposed to check us in was in the sitting area watching television and talking to another female individual while we were waiting at the front desk. There is no elevator in the motel however the walk up the stairs was not bad. The room itself looked clean but had a strong odor of sweat. Nice hotel - very convinient - good rate - Was disappointed when going into room and finding Air Conditioner was not on..... Took Two hours to cool off... Mentioned problem to clerk and was informed thats how they operate... they leave them off to save electicity.... It was 100 degrees outside !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......

We had a great stay at this Super 8. The man at check-in was very nice and helpful and the woman at check-out was equally nice and helpful. It was very clean and felt safe. It was also located within walking distance to a Cracker Barrel which my boys loved. We would stay at this hotel again. Thanks!!

Clean, good value

Our Hotel room was just as it was displayed the the Hotel. com website. No frills, Quiet, Clean, and very nice people to serve us. We will stay there at another time!

Right off the highway, but our room faced the hotel behind us. The bed was so comfortable and the room was quiet even though the busy life outside was only feet away! New "everything" in the room on the third floor. Exceptionally clean! Thank you, the service was great too.
