I liked the breakfast selection which included fresh fruit. The room was very clean, the temp adjustment was effective, the bed was comforatble - in particular, I liked the pillows. Wide screen TV, free WIFI, the works.
Location.
Situated in Allentown, Knights Inn & Suites Allentown is close to Coca-Cola Park, Art Allentown Museum, and Trout Hall. Also nearby is Allentown Symphony Hall.
Hotel Features.
Guests are served a complimentary breakfast each morning. In addition to multilingual staff and laundry facilities, Knights Inn & Suites Allentown features coffee in the lobby. Additional amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a safe deposit box at the front desk, and an elevator (lift). Onsite parking is complimentary.

I had a four day stay and what I will miss is the angry looking Indian gentlemen glaring at me while I ate my breakfast of warm milk and fruit loops. One night I returned to my room and it was not made up at all. It is a cheep place to flop if you are alone and on the road.

The in-room refrigerator & microwave, and the morning continental breakfast & 24 hr complimentary coffee along with a location close to major roads & restaurants within reasonable walking distance made it a great choice for the money. The biggest problem was the rough towels.
"Quick visit"
We were passing through and this was a convenient location for us to stay. The check in area was nice and clean and our room was clean but there was a very large hole in the cushion in the window. It was quiet, the bed was clean, and the sheets were clean, so overall we had a good nights sleep. BK from upstate New York
"Good for our needs"
The room and bath were clean and quiet. Air conditioning was only like a whisper. Continental breakfast was simple but served our need. The only thing for improvement is toilet was clogged when we checked out.
"cigarette smoke and short stays"
The non smoking policy is fine for the top floor, but the cigarette smoke flows through the vents into the bathrooms on all the other floors. Also, it seems that a lot of activities go on in this facility that are short stays.
"So Filthy I slept in my clothes"
I don't even know where to begin with this place. The most disturbing thing was the turd from some sort of animal which was discovered right on the cover which was underneath the comforter when I pulled it back. Then there were the bodily fluid stains on everything from the window cushion to the carpet to the towels. I honestly have never stayed in […] such a disgusting hotel, and I travel a LOT for business. I only stayed here because I know this is owned by Wyndham, and I figured it would be 2-star, but at least clean. Well it was less than one star. There were loud people on the floor at all hours of the night, and at about 2AM, the smoke alarms went off, and the Allentown police department came knocking at around 3AM. I was afraid to use the shower and slept in my clothes on top of a towel, which looked cleaner than the sheets. Did I mention the names carved into the headboard? I will never stay at another Knights in, and will think twice about using any other Wyndham chain hotels. Read more

"Knights Inn Allentown"
It was fine once I got moved into a better room. Very strange that the nicest rooms in the hotel are smoking rooms---the whole third floor, where it would be the quietest. My first room was supposedly a non-smoking room, but reeked of smoke. If you are a smoker, this is the hotel for you.

ok, I get that it's a "budget line" motel, so I was not expecting "Ritz-Carleton" service, but this place is a dump. My companion smokes, so we were on the smoking floor...the smell of smoke assaulted us as soon as the elevator door opened. To say the place is filthy doesn't do the word justice..trash on the floor, sticky carpet patches from spilled […] drinks, overflowing trash cans... In any case, this is a place to stay ONLY in case of extreme emergency; if you were the victim of a house fire or a tornado swept away your home and belongings.... If not...STAY AWAY! Read more

the staff was nice and the price couldn't be beat but the room had a few things to speak about, there was dried up sticky food on top of thre fridge where the microvave once was and for some reason we weren't allowed to bring our breakfast to our room we had to eat it in the lobby which I couldn't figure out why.

Had a room for 1 night on the first floor. very noisy, could hear guests above us all night. continental breakfast quality bad. had the worst waffles ever. all hotel guests we observed during our brief stay seemed like they may be living there week to week.

Not at all happy with this hotel. The room was tiny. the lights in the room did not work, the only lights that worked, were in the bathroom. The fire alarm was hanging from the sealing..I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I would not book there about.

This hotel was about what we expected, a good location and a clean place to sleep. However, when we first checked in they sent us to a very sub standard room. It smelled of smoke, had ripped carpet, nasty looking bedding, and was entirely too small for two people. When we went downstairs to complain, they miraculously came up with a newer cleaner larger […] room. Not the ritz, but what we would have expected for the price. It begs the question, why couldn't they have put us in that room in the first place? Do they think people will not complain? We would never go back there, but then again, we won't have to. "Very disappointed"
Immediately when I arrived I was told that the only room with a queen bed (what I had reserved) had a broken window so either I could be in the room with the broken window or put in a room with two twin beds. I took the room anyway, and soon realized the broken glass was the least of the issues with the room. Not only was the room extremely dated, but […] the fire alarm was hanging from wires, the upholstry was torn, and the bathroom sink was cracked. "knights inn, allentown pa"
The place was terrible. When I checked in, the night manager gave us a room with a full size bed, not a queen size I reserved. When I pointed out the bed size, he said that it was a queen size bed, calling me a liar. I own a queen size bed at my home, that was not a queen size bed. When I did get the right room, it smelled so bad I had to buy car freshers […] for the smell. The room was on a non-smoking floor, somehow cigarette smoke was in the bathroom so bad I had to close the door and get the night attendent to call the adjacent room to get them to stop smoking. The decor was stright out of the early 80's. Tube T.V. and the size of the room was the size of the bed. No space to move. The breakfast was a disappointment. the cereal was stale and the waffles tasted like they had been frozen since the 50's. While I tried to eat with my family, seeing what I could only desicribe as "Working Girls" leaving the lobby with their "date" sicken me. If you like taking cold showers at 8am, stay here. The only saving grave was the weekend night attendent, super helpful and she does not make enough to work there. I will NEVER stay there and will tell everyone I know not to stay there. Read more
"simple and inexpensive"
No wake up calls and almost no service offered. The breakfast ends at 9am, sharp! If you want the complimentary breakfast, get there early. The room was ok and the mattress was acceptable. Thin, smaller towells so if you are a big person, you'll need extras. It was what I paid for, no frills.

"Nice place for the price"
Hotel room was quite small however it was clean. Nothing fancy but it was nice and comfy. They just got new carpeting also.
"First ever HORRIBLE Review"
I'm the first to accept you get what you pay for.. But ! Entrance to hotel looks like no one knows how to clean, the "Non-smoking room" smelled like a OLD smoking room, carpet was worn and tattered, the bathroom sink and shower drained slow to the point they filled up with the drain OPEN, inner hallways were dirty and tattered. Whole hotel had the look […] of "I just don't care". So I slept on top of the sheets. I stay at national chains for a reason, even the worse ones USUALLY have a certain level of cleanliness. They ripped the carpets off the floors on thursday morning but did not fix them. There was glue on the ground which stuck to your shoes when coming and leaving the hotel.

Place was clean, quiet and a palace compared to our stay at the grimy Super 8 down the road. Breakfast was as basic as it gets. Conveniently located near shopping mall.

"one of the dirtiest hotels ive ever stayed in."
This is one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed in. There were hairs on the blankets and pillows on the bed. Used dirty towels in the bathroom and trash already in the trash can when I got there. Someone above my room was fighting and yelling all night and an alarm was going off in the neighbouring room.

"Comfortable and great location!"
I had a lovely stay there recently, it was everything me an my spouse can need in a room. There couldve been alittle more breakfast but we werent complaining. All in all a great hotel with lots of great stores an restaurants near by!

Staff were great they handled delivery of packages for us and were very pleasant. Hotel was clean and everything was as it should of been and expected. Hotel was very reasonably priced and included the basics like continental breakfast etc...

"Worst Ever!!!"
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The first night I was kept up by barking and howling dogs. The next night I discivered that someone killed a moth and left it stuck to the wall. Every night I saw an an ant. A couple of nights there were gnats. When I complained to the manager, he did nothing to compensate for the discomfort I encountered. "Needs Timely Maintenence!"
Sink clogged for entire stay! Toilet leaked! Ice machines did not work!

I booked this hotel through Hotels.com. When I arrived at 3 in the morning, I noticed a lot of police activity in the parking lot. The officer strongly advised me to leave and stay anyplace else but here. I called the Hotel and the manager was uncooperative and downplayed the incident and refused to refund the money and cancel the reservation.
