Free Internet, free parking. Room similar to most Novotels we have used. Access to rooms need work. Doors closer to room than front door, cannot be opened from outside. Room was clean, staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant attached had good food at the end of a long day.

We always stay here en route to the South.Our reservation could not be found on arrival - it was located once we got on the phone to Hotels.Com - worrying moment! Although we only stayed here one night on each of our legs driving to the south of France, we really enjoyed our stay and will use this hotel in the future. Also we found: The free WiFi was easy to conect to and with good coverage and speed. The facilites were great for children of all ages. The food and wine was lovely.

Very hot when we stayed here, and the room has an 'air cooling system', which was not as effective as I hoped. Hence the '3' marking for room comfort. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and nicely furnished. The main reason we booked this was for the reasonably large garden (which has trees and outdoor seating) and the children's playground. The hotel is great but the food in the hotel is expensive. be expecting to pay aver 100E for dinner with just a beer or 2. Wine is 20E up a bottle. Breakfast is good and kids get theirs free with adults. Its 15E a head and not included in the room price. Stayed a couple of years ago and it made a great stop over. This year it was full of other English families so it felt a bit like our holiday was over too soon! Room just as good and lovely strong wifi (I am told) but the prices in the restaurant, especially for drinks, are a bit steep to say the least. Quite a large hotel so therefore not an intimate experience. We stayed overnight to break up a long drive. Other than using it for this purpose I wouldn't choose to stay in this hotel. Food was ok.

After 6 hours of driving up from the South of France the hotel was just what we needed. Very family friendly. Tennis court, swimming pool, table tennis made sure that the we recovered quickly. Dinner was reasonable, quite pricey, but there's not many alternatives nearby (understandably we didn't want to get in the car again). Only downside was the air […] conditioning or lack of. The hotel is perfectly located en route from Barcelona to the UK via Calais. The facilities met all our needs. We were travelling with our dog and the benefit of this hotel is that dogs are permitted to stay in the rooms. The rooms all have an anti-chamber comprising lobby and Toilet which is the ideal place for the dog to sleep. It keeps him separated […] from the bedroom and provides him with water to drink if required. Further, there are access doors from the corridor to outside parking so there is never a need to walk the dog (however well behaved) through the Reception area. The hotel grounds are large enough to excercise the dog and there are plenty of dog bins in the grounds. The bedrooms are large and well funished with international TV available. The bathrooms are similarly well eqipped, and most importantly, function! There is also a mini bar and facilities for making Tea and Coffee. The restaurant perhaps offers more than it delivers but nonetheless a reasonable meal can be obtained. Breakfast, however, is 'do-it-yourself' and coffee is not the best that the French can deliver, though certainly better than the average American hotel! All in all we will continue to use the Novotel on our journies to and from Barcelona Read more

The hotel functioned very well. The grounds were a great benefit to exercise our dog, though we had to be careful not to let the doors close behind us or we would only re-gain access via the main entrance.We left our i-phone at the Reception and the hotel were very efficient in forwarding that to our U.K. address. The only down side was the slow service […] for dinner in the Restaurant. With 4 people serving there should have been no problem but it took one and a half hours to get throiugh dinner. We stayed here on the way down to the South. It was like an oasis after a long journey for the whole family. My son only wants to stay in Novotels from now on! Friendly/welcoming customer service, great pool, and superb breakfast. Only quibble would be the evening meal (adult), which was very mediocre for the price. Kids liked theirs though.

This also refers to our overnight stay on 11th August 2011. Although some ratings were good, the overall 3 rating reflected the poor restaurant staff at both dinner and breakfast. My wife and I had to wait 45 minutes for our main dinner course. While both of our starters were very good and my wife's main course was good, my fish main course was dry […] which affected the taste having obviously been kept warm for too long. I advised Reception when booking out and our bill was adjusted when we returned for our 16th August 2011 overnight stay. Althought dinner on the 16th was improved, a young girl dropped her plate of fruit (?) at breakfast the following morning. The breakfast staff did nothing to help even though they had time to do so. Overall, it was obvious that too few staff were being utilised between the Bar area and the Restaurant. This caused the Bar area to be unattended for periods of time. It is appreciated that staffing can be a problem, but after long journeys it is reasonable for the guests to expect good service. We have stayed at this hotel before, with good results. It was a shame that it caused disappointment on these two occasions. Hopefully, these problems can be resolved for the future. Read more

The facilities in this hotel were such that my two boys (10&8) did not want to leave! They had a great time. The food was very good and the room comfortable and clean. There were a lot of activities: tennis, ping pong, playstation (in the lobby) and the pool. The hotel is a short drive into the city of Orleans which is very beautiful.

Excellent stop-over on the way to Calais! Had 3 small dogs and the grounds around the hotel were an ideal place to walk them! Food was good in the resturant except for the desserts! Infact we sent one back and settled for icecream! Overall enjoyed staying and would stay again!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as a stop-over at the start and finish of our recent holiday in South of France with 2 young children and would highly recommend it for this purpose. The location is ideal - about 4 hours drive from Calais on the first day and then a 6 hour drive to our villa on the second day. The whole hotel is really child friendly - they are given a little soft toy at check in, there is an indoor and outdoor play area and the pull out beds are great. We were provided with a nice, clean cot for our baby and both our children were made really welcome in the restaurant where there is a childs menu. Also, they breakfast for free. We zijn 2 nachten gebleven, waarbij het sofabed voor de kinderen in negatieve zin eruit sprong. De veren van de veel te dunne matras zjin in het hele bed te voelen. Dit is geen Novotel prijs waard!
