IBIS BOULOGNE SUR MER - Boulogne-sur-Mer

Location is right next to the port -- just where we needed to be. Enjoyed strolling the area, checking out the local attractions, and grabbing a quick bite before leaving France.

I recently stayed for a night on a 10-day European trip and the hotel was very clean, and the staff very friendly. The hotel is right on the main strip in town so that was very convenient. Recommendations for restaurants by the staff were spot on and the morning breakfast was quite good too. We actually had a problem with our toilet when we arrived and a maintenance person came 5-10 minutes after our call and fixed the problem, which was very nice. Overall, it was a great experience and worth the cost. The hotel wasn't anything way over the top, but it was a definite quality, 3 star hotel.

A very special place. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. Very pleasant welcome, baggage to the room - which was spotless and well appointed (apart from integral shower in bath). Beautiful gardens, well stocked bar, fine wine list and a sumptuous dinner, a little pricey but worth every cent. Very attentive and friendly staff. All this in the countryside a few minutes from the highway and 20 minutes from Calais. I shall return - soon.

We were very pleased with the hotel's location overlooking a park in Calais. It was very reasonably priced, and breakfast was very good. Benoit was accommodating and helpful. Although the hotel is undergoing renovations, our room was pretty and pleasant. It was very reasonably priced, and we would definitely stay there again.
