ロケーションやサービスは文句なしだが、エレベーターの速度が遅すぎのが不満。Genuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Expedia guest review
立地が最高。この一言に尽きる。建物が古いだけで部屋もきれいだし、みんなちゃんと英語しゃべれるし、値段を考えれば言う事無し。Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fantastic location. Good hotel"

First things first. The location can't get better than this. Its in city center. Second, don't get fooled by the look of the hotel from outside. Although it doesn't look great from outside, once you enter the room, you realize its lot better than other hotels out there. I have stayed here 3 times during my business trip within a month, and the only problem is faced was that the bath tub was rusted in two occasions. But still I strongly recommend this hotel, for the great price, simple clean rooms and location.
"a small hotel with big surprises"

because it's one of the cheapest hotels in my choices, that's the reason why our group stayed at hotell sintra but to our surprise.. the small hotel we chose will be giving us a memorable stay in macau..we immediately boarded the hotel shuttle at the ferry terminal upon our arrival at the ferry terminal.upon arrival at the hotel, the small hotel we chose gave us a warm welcome .. check-in was efficiently facilitated by their very gracious staff. . and to our surprise one room was upgraded to a deluxe one since we wanted the same floor for all of us. .. another surprise was their very strategic location. a short walk to senado square and other casinos plus it's proximity to yaohan mall which offer a wide variety of international cuisine in their food court... another surprise, the room service was fast and their staff were so polite.i will surely recommend this hotel.. it won't let you down... by the way, the last surprise, their sumptuous breakfast.. so yummmy!!!

Good location. convenience to see the city view and shopping, lots of Casino surrounding the hotel area. Free coach to Water Dancing show and Casinos cross the river. The check in service is quite efficiency . There are 2 breakfasts including into the room rate and the food is acceptable.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Awesome couch and the city view. Fast check in and out. The doorman was very nice to us, helped us to get a cab. Polite doorman. The guy from the reception was rude since he can't understand english. The breakfast buffet was also good. The room itself is awesome for me. Easy to get a cab or ride a bus. I'll recommend this to my friends.
"Big Room but a bit dated"

Hotel Sintra is located at the heart of the Macau Peninsula. It's a few blocks (about 4-5 blocks) away from the Senado Square, around the corner from the famous Margaret's Egg Tart and it has a complimentary shuttle service that picks you up from the airport or the jetty port. If you miss the shuttle bus, just take one from the City of Dreams as it parks right in front of the hotel to pick up guests too. We got the Standard King room (approx. Php. 6,000/night) which we were both so happy about. You see, coming from the tiny and rather cramped room that we had in Hong Kong, anything bigger than a 20 sqm hotel room is a welcome sight. I literally could do cartwheels with the size of our room. The furnishings were quite old and it's not as well-lit as I would like it to be but really, no complains here. The bed was comfy and the toilet was clean, that's all that matters most to me. They also provided us with complimentary bottles of water which we happily took with us as we explored the city on our first day. Normally, booking hotels via Agoda doesn't include breakfast which was fine as you can just check out the cafes and fast food restaurants around the hotel. For us though, we woke up at 11AM so we opted to just head out for a delicious Macanese lunch. Service was also very efficient and despite being a 3-star hotel, I do appreciate the cleanliness that is very much evident in every corner of the hotel. From the lobby to the room, I was quite pleased with our choice. My only wish is that they have a bigger lobby where you can hang out in while waiting for the shuttle to take you to the airport. "good Service, Destroyed doorbell but great location"

We checked in right after we came from Hong Kong but then we just stayed overnight in Macau. We checked in very quick. The service was fast, the staff were very friendly. There was this one guy from the hotel. I think his name was Erick Zhong I think. His service was one of the best I've Experience. We loved the rooms, It had free WiFi, Amenities and cable, and including a bathtub. But the next morning before we checked out we went to check out other Hotels nearby. Such as The Grand Lisbona and MGM. But we weren't able to wake up early because the room door bell was destroyed and we couldn't we woken up by our mother. So we had a very hard time waking up. But I've got to admit that This hotel has a great Location, great service and more.

The saying "Do not judge a book by its cover" seems apt when describing Hotel Sintra. The facade is totally un impressive but do not go by that. We found the rooms to be very comfortable and spacious fitted with all mordern amenities and free wifi. The staff in the restaurant and the conceirge's team were helpful and pleasant. Rio who manages the restaurant was very courteous and efficient. The location of the hotel is great because everything from eateries, casinos, stores and landmarks are within walking distance from the hotel. If you are looking for a clean cost effective place especially in the heart of Macau then Sintra is the place!!!
"Convenient location...that's about it"

Stayed 1 night in the Sintra in downtown Macau, as convenient, and inexpensive. The staff are polite and helpful. Getting around by foot is easy and can cover the town easily in a day. The hotel is older and the rooms reasonable large with full bathroom (albeit small) with the usual toiletries. The room had good air conditioning, a must for a good nights sleep. Views from the windows are either over the main road or the rear overlooking dilapidated buildings. The hotel seems to cater for the self organised sight seeing/shopping tourist unlike some of the other somewhat flashier hotels, that cater for the Chinese gambling tour groups. One night here was enough to see the sights in Macau old city, moving onto the Cotai Strip was a welcome move.
"It has been said before... LOCATION"
07/08/14 kerwei Sydney, Australia
Truth be told, the external facade is not the best. I had fully prepared myself for Hotel Sintra to be one of those tour group type hotels. Unexpectedly, it wasn't. In fact, considering the room price, it was actually pretty good. I had booked our accommodation pretty late so many of the better hotels had been booked out or the remaining available rooms were too expensive. Hotel Sintra was our best option at that time and their room rates were still reasonable so we thought we take a punt. The rooms were well maintained and reasonably up to date. There were no real complaints. But the pièce de résistance must be the location. I have been to Macau many times before and am fairly familiar with the city. When I had first picked the hotel, it was mainly for its location but until you are there, you do not fully appreciate how close it is to EVERYTHING - Grand Lisboa Hotel, Senado Square and the popular local eateries. Bottom line, if you are looking for somewhere to sleep that is clean and decent, not too expensive and close to the heart of the action, you should definitely consider Hotel Sintra.
"Family with 2 Small kids"

I wasnt expecting much from the hotel because its the only one that has breakfast and wifi included in the budget that I was looking for plus the King size bed. So I know its not luxury and so I should not expect too much from it. I was impressed by the welcoming and the checked in when we arrived they are smiling and friendly. I was asked for $500macau for deposit but they said if im ok with phone being locked for outside calls then they wont need the deposit and thats another good point. My kids are naughty so I totally removed the phone and used the bathroom one when i need to call reception. The room was normal size and bed was King as I requested or payed for. Pillows are soft. Tv , fridge, kettle, hairdyer, safe and slippers are ready to use. Toiletries are all there shaving kit, sewing kit, toothbrush and etc. Everything that I need are there but I thought it wont be, so im again impressed. Breakfast was very nice. Chinese and english all ok. My kids had yogurt fruits sausage eggboiled omelette sunnysideup pancakes, potato, salad, bread , pastries and etc. I enjoyed the chinese breakfast as well they have heavy and light food all together it was perfect. Not extravagant but not at all less than I thought it would be. The staff was nice even my kids likes them. They are smiling they are attentive. Internet wasnt very good in our room but when I open my door signal was better so if Internet is important on ur stay make sure u tell the reception upon check in so they can put u in a high signal room. Even how many times I asked help from reception and belldesk I didnt see anyone with fake smile. Bellboy come and go to check my internet and he helps me with connection login and stuff I got internet but its just the signal was weak. Im very pleased with all the staff as they put up with the Buildings age , it is old but the stay was very relax and comfy. I will diffinetely stay and recommend Sintra to everyone thats on the budget.
