The staff was friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping kept good care of our room and gave us peace of mind that we had a safe, comfortable, and clean place to stay while visiting a family member in a nearby hospital. Whole Foods is next door in the nearby shopping center and there is a restaurant attached to the hotel.

Easy to find and right near the Barnes and Noble. A bit far from downtown Princeton but free van stands ready for transport. Comfortable and affordable for reunion on campus! Breakfast a bit optional but fruit and yogurt ok.

We stayed here the night before a sporting event and the place was pretty run down. The free breakfast the next day was nice since we were in a hurry. If you just need a place to sleep in is fine but do not expect anything special. The parking lot is beside a Whole Foods and a Marshall's which is a bonus, especially if you forget something.

There was a strong deororant smell in room, and in other room that we were offered as an option to switch to. The carpet was probably the culprit, as it seemed ancient. A/C not the most reliable. But it was about worth what we paid for it, and the staff were very nice, courteous.

Shower was clogged so when i went to get in there was 4+ inches of water with "stuff" floating in it. Told the front desk, who said they would look into it, but they didn't know what room i'd been in???? Gentleman at front desk during check in was great.

I stayed on Sat over night. There was a light snow storm. The Hotel is under construction/renovations that explains ripped carpet in hallways & etc. Pure Restaurant is connected to the Hotel. There was a mixed crowd, with a live Dj that played a mix of music from R&B to Rap until 2a. The Hotel has a complimentary hot or cold breakfast served until 10a. I would visit again when renovations are complete

What a mess. The lobby is covered in dust; they claim due to a "renovation." This place is way beyond renovation. It looks like a bomb exploded on the hotel rooms floor in the hallways. Just a complete nightmare. Once I fled the mess to my room, I found it stale and the thermostat was set at 85 degrees! I sat with no shirt on in the bed waiting for the room to cool off because I was too scared (there seemed to be nobody there) to keep my door open to air the room out. I didn't touch anything in the room except the soap, the towels and the sheets.

There was no indication from Hotels.com that the hotel was being renovated. When we got off the elevator to go to our room we literally had to drag our suitcases through paint and carpet debris. It was difficult at best. The hotel needs the renovation - run down.

Room was 85 degrees when I walked in, and a friend in another room said the same thing. Had to turn on the A/C in January. Construction all over the place - unsightly. Breakfast was eh. the worst was apparently a man wandering through the halls at 4am knocking on doors saying "Housekeeping" trying to harass and break in. Lovely!

Good rooms. Cereal on weekday mornings, french toast weekend mornings. Construction at the time was pretty unsightly, and service at the lobby was just barely par. It was a good rate for what I got, and I would stay here again.

I was on the bottom floor of the hotel and was woken up each night by what sounded like people bowling or dropping furniture on the second floor. The rooms appear to need refreshing, some of the furniture is worn there is wall paper peeling in the bathroom. When I booked the hotel, I was told that the shuttle would be able to take me to my office park at 8:00 am. When I went down to pick it up, I was told because of the distance it would be past 10 before I could take a shuttle. I was forced to call a cab. The blackout shades in the room would not stay closed, and with that being the only window covering lead to having to close them the best we could and close with a clip. The maid service was very good and seemed to want to make the room nice when they straightened up. The hotel is VERY busy US 1 and it is very hard to get a taxi or Uber.

The first room was wonderful, well kept with a huge tv and great amenities. After returning from a stay in NY, the next room was dimly lit and had a space heater sitting in the middle of the room. It was at the end of an unlit hallway next to an unlocked back door. Management changed the room assignment with this complaint. The room quality and safety are hit or miss. Ask for a room on the courtyard.

My non smoking room smelled like smoke and the common areas of this hotel are in major need of a facelift - depressing place. The woman at the front desk, Aja, asked me how my stay was and I told her the room was comfortable but the hotel in general was dirty and needed a lot of maintenance. She shrugged her shoulders.

The room was exactly what we wanted. We just wanted a comfortable, clean, safe place to rest our heads. Ideally we wanted to stay in downtown Princeton but we had a car so it wasn't a problem to get into town. Everything was clean, the front desk staff was nice, and we had everything we could want in a hotel: free wifi, free continental breakfast, free parking, a fitness center, a pool (nice to know it's there for the future even though it's closed this time of year), and a charming setup. You can tell the building is old from a few of the design differences but I got so much for my money, it's certainly not a complaint.

The layout of this hotel was a bit unusual, but aside from that, the check-in was a breeze, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the TV was almost as big as the room. The only negative thing that I have to mention was the weird size and shape of the pillows. They were small and almost round. There were plenty of them, but I prefer a big soft pillow. For the price, this hotel put me right in the thick of things without a lot of pomp and circumstance. Very happy!

We did not have a rental car. The hotel picked us up from the train station and the next day dropped us off at Princeton Univ. This was very convenient. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Restaurant very good.

The room was deplorable. It was physically labeled and advertised non-smoking, but it is used as a smoking room and there were two hotel ash trays in it (bait and switch). The room was unlocked when we arrived (creepy). All exterior doors to the hotel from street and parking lots are completely unlocked (intruders can enter and walk through all halls). The dead bolt had been broken off on our room, so there was not even a dead bolt. Wallpaper was cut and patched. Bathtub drain did not operate. Toilet handle didn't operate correctly. Chairs in the room were heavily soiled (multiple large, dark stains). All carpeting in rooms and corridors are deplorable. Continental breakfast was not well maintained. Dirty tables. Food not replenished. Insufficient number of food implements (people reaching food with their hands). Morning desk clerk absent from desk for long period. Deplorable stay.

at 10:17 am on Sunday, October 12th, only 6 minutes After I left the hotel, I asked them to retrieve my blue-tooth which I left behind plugged in for charging. The front desk person assured me that they would go personally to my room within 55 minutes to retrieve the items before the cleaning crew arrive. I could not return to the hotel at that moment because I was meeting a real estate buyer at a property in North Brunswick at 10:30 am and I had a tight schedule that day. It seems that instead they sent someone at some divulged time to the room and found nothing I was very very diappointed that the front desk did NOT as promised go to the room #143 and retrieve the item In the future I need to stay at a hotel that has more honest and diligent employees

This hotel/motel is nicely situated and makes a good impression from the outside. However, the inside is very rundown. It needs new carpeting and a fresh coat of paint. Most disturbing was that the side entrance doors did not lock, so security was lacking. The staff, which was otherwise very good, said thatif the side doors did not lock there were security cameras watching. Not good enough. Breakfast was ok. rates were very good. Again the staff was very helpful and "first rate." We also appreciated the free Wall Street Journal.

The hotel was easy to find but smelled very musty when we entered. In addition, when we checked in, the computers were down (or something) and couldn't quite figure out from desk person what we needed to do. Then we asked about places to eat and we tried to follow his directions and found nothing after walking different directions for about 45 minutes. Ended up coming back to hotel and eating at restaurant on site. The hotel desk person was just very difficult to understand

The hotel staff was very nice. Our room rug was not vacuumed well, if at all. The room was very dated and is in desperate need of some upgrades. My main issue was that the shower did not drain properly, which meant that we were standing in dirty water to shower. The room did have a working refrigerator and microwave.
