To be honest, I was somewhat dreading our stay here, because the three other families we were going with said we were supposed to pick the Hilton Makkah HOTEL not the TOWERS. They had heard the Towers were dirty and unkempt and not as nice as the Hotel. In the end, I think (apart from the family who stayed in the presidential suite @ the Hotel), we […] were amongst the happiest in our group.. The lobbies of each individual tower are definitely spartan, but we actually were happy that we did not have to fight through a whole mall to get to our lobby versus the towers. More importantly, the rooms themselves are very nicely sized and had two twin sized beds and two sofa beds, along with a bench sofa in the window which could theoretically handle a child easily. There was plenty of space! Having a second bathroom (with toilet and sink only) was extremely convenient, especially when everyone had to dress and or do wudu quickly. Also having a decent size refrigerator was also very convenient to get some nutrition; there is also a kitchenette which we did not use. Breakfasts were hearty. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive and kept the rooms clean. The only area of improvement I could suggest is that on the common 6th floor for all the towers leading to the villas and breakfast area, it was much too dark and lots of bird droppings which did not look like it got cleaned often. If you are looking for proximity to the Haram Mosque then this is the place to stay. The price was competitive to the other surrounding hotels. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, this is not your typical US or Europe five-star hotel. The rooms were clean but the furniture was slightly worn out. The hotel has five towers but the access […] to each tower is separate and from the street or through the basement parking. The hotel charge for every single thing…even for the water bottles and candies available in your room. The walking distance to Haram is a little more than other Hilton Hotal location. There was extra charges for internet which seems outrageous after paying big price for Hotel room. Very close to the Haram. It is right across from King Fahad's gate. The hotel has multiple towers and it has a shopping floor with nice food court & grocery store (Bin Dawood). Make sure to get the breakfast deal as part of the room rental. The buffet was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay.

Was really good, stayed in tower 5. The reason for giving comfort a score of 2 was due to the 24 hour loud construction which greatly affected our sleep. Location was superb, 3 mins and you were at th haram. Room was very spacious, had 2 couches. You could have fit 4 people in one twin bed room.

Excellent location best towers to get are towers 2 or 5 as they come out to the shopping center, the dissapointing points are they are only 3 lifts to server a tower of 27 floors so you may have to wait a while and could end up missing your prayers. the housekeeping only do the cleaning in the morning so for one nite our bedsheets were not changed

we awere surprised to find out that our rooms were given a way because we did not check in the night before albeit it was fully paid for and we did add an extra night cause we were checking in very early next day morning .nver the less wew awere upgraded to a villa but unfrotunately was oposite the nioiseist construction site in makkah!! the fridge […] was empty! no utensills or plates in the kitchenette what so ever! the only kettle they had was filthy and all beddings were smelly. and to top it all when checking out the card swiper was not working and i was told to wait for an hour untill it works again !mind you this happens every day as i was told by the receptionist as part of its daily resetting ( get another back up and stagger their reset ,,,daaah). can not argue with its location as it is the best albeit escalators are not runing (a good work out ) Read more

The hotel is located very close to Harm. Counter Staff was very helpful. I suggest that, there should be a safe deposit for passports, currency or other valuable items while waiting for check in at the reception area, though you can leave your baggage with concierge and go for Ummrah while rooms are prepared for occupancy.

Overall the stay was pleasant, esp. since we only had to walk 100m to King Fahd Gate. The Towers have a bit of an awkward design with elevators stopping every other floor and many rooms a stairway above those - we as a party of 6 stayed in duplex with a common secure entrance. This is a good hotel if you are doing Umrah. Its very very close to the Haram. Less than two minutes walk to the gate of Haram. Also there is a small shopping center downstairs and few fast food restaurant. Safe and clean.

The biggest advantage of booking this hotel was the location - it is right opposite the haram (around a 1 min walk). The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and modern and upto 4 star standard. However the hotel is let down by its general condition. For a 5 star hotel, the facility is in a very poor state. The AC in our room made a loud noise....the AC's register was broken and had black stuff (mold??) around it. Beware, the hotel will find a way to charge you for the water and candies in the room. I was charged 18 SAR for consuming water and candies in the room which I did not. Nice hotel, very good location and the triple rooms were comfortable for 3 adults with plenty of space to move around. The surrounding areas outside the vicinity of the hotel were very dirty. So be mindful of that when you book. Overall it was Good especially the location and staff.

I stayed in tower 2 with my wife and 2 children. We had a family room facing Haram with 2 single beds and a sofa bed. Our room was clean and spacious, it also had a small kitchen unit and a fridge. Check in/out was easy and straight forward. Staff are very helpful and within reason will do anything to accommodate your request. Construction of the towers is such that some areas have small steps before you get to your room. very difficult to navigate into the towers. we booked three rooms which were not made available close to echother for the first night, so our party was forced to split between the different towers-which are a long way away from eachoether. no wifi, even the hotel is descrivbed as having wifi.

It was a great experience, the location is excellent, right next to the Haram. The staff are friendly, cooperative and courteous. Just don't use the business center, the prices are ridiculous. I was surprised that such an excellent hotel does not offer free internet (no wi-fi in rooms).

when we eventually found the check in desk for the Makkah towers (not to be confused with the adjoining Hilton hotel) The service was second to none from check in to being shown to our room. But the haram view which we paid extra for was disappointing as could only see the Grand Mosque by standing on a chair, pressing right up against the window and […] looking sideways.
