This hotel has everything! One of the best health clubs at no extra charge, really good broadband wi-fi for extra charge, great breakfast buffet, nice desk, coffee tray, comfy bed, nice bar but also adjacent to all the attractions and shopping. I highly recommend it and would use it again.

Opted to stay here for a night again having already stayed here once before. The hotel is very centrally located so everything is within walking distance. The only difficulty we had was parking but we managed to park across the road in the car park (at a charge if course). Really enjoyed our stay here. Room had been upgraded for us which we found out […] upon arrival and I had already requested a late check out at the time of booking which had also been noted on my reservation form so this was also honoured. Pleased with the room size and service. Only downsideswere that the TV was extremely blurry and couldn't be fixed so it made it extremely difficult to watch movies. Secondly, breakfast was only served till 10am and we would have preferred to have it served until 11am at least, especially on Sunday. The hotel should try and negotiate better car parking rates with the car park across the road. Finally, the spa facilities could all have been a little warmer in temperature. Overall, we had an amazing time and will definitely recommend the hotel to our friends and family. Read more

They need to do something about the old rattly non-double glazed windows. There was an air conditioning unit outside my room (158), and its knocks and vibrations kept waking me up. Other people have complained about noise from the street in the front facing rooms.It isn't rocket science, just fit double glazing!

Great hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast was fantastic, with the orange juice being described as sunshine in a glass! Great location, and the rooms were spacious, warm, clean and tidy. Double beds were slightly on the small side. Would definitely recommend!

We had a relaxing time in the Hilton Nottingham, the room was available at midday so we checked in early. The staff were very helpful, and knowledgable about the local area. Even got given a map so we could find somewhere. No car park at the hotel but we parked in the car park opposite and it only cost £20 for 24 hrs. It's a pity that the overall impression of the hotel is spoilt by creaking floorboards in corridors and uneven floors in bedrooms. When next there is refurbishment these features could do with some attention. Breakfasts good however!

The room was very small, and very basic. It was of a lower standard than a Travelodge. It was clean and of a reasonable specification, but not at all special or luxurious. The room was also an incredibly convoluted hike from reception.

Despite having booked this hotel on a per paid basis they saw fit to sell my room again to someone else. Their attitude was shocking, they simply said it was "common policy" to overbook to ensure occupancy rates. When I pointed out they'd already been paid for the room they pretty much shrugged their shoulders and said tough. We arrived and told we had an upgrade. If we did i would of hated to have seen the room we had actually booked it was so small you could hardly move around. We could hear all the movements of the upstairs room above us as the floors creaked. due to the room size it felt very hot and humid/stuffy The breakfast was very good and the service was good.

The staff were friendly, a big down point when we arrived was that we intended on using the swimming pool and facilities over our 2 day stay but it was not in use as they were doing maintainence work. The Room itself was ok, very basic and not perhaps worth the cost of the booking. Hotel was not what I'd expect from a Hilton hotel. The rooms are smaller than you would expect, similar to a London hotel room... Parking is very limited and you have to park over the road from the hotel. Service was average, I had a cleaning member of staff push a laundry trolley into me when getting out of the lift as she was looking at a colleague […] instead of in front of her... A beautiful hotel, spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Great leisure facilities. Just a shame the spam room was out of order for our visit. The sauna, however was wonderful. My husband and I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

We went for New Years Eve. The hotel was lovely the room clean and a good size. We ate dinner in the hotels restaurant which although a bit pricey suited the occasion. The issue we with the hotel was the noise, there must have been a private event at the hotel that went on into the early hours and secondly the walls are very thin and we were kept awake […] by conversation of some very loud hotel guests. We arrived and were told that the car park was full. We had to park across the road in the public car park and ended up paying £20 for 2 nights stay. I requested a Guardian newspaper to be sent to my room, when I checked in. I did not get it and had to request it again, but only to discover that I was being charged for the paper even though it had […] not been delivered. When going to the room we discovered that the hotel had only one lift that was used by the guests and the staff including the kitchen deliveries. The lift was not therefore exactly clean as you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Upon entering the room we discovered that the room was not clean, the carpet was dirty, the wall paper was falling off the walls, the bath room was not clean either. The bedroom floors were so noisy that every time either my wife or I wanted to use the bathroom we would inevitably wake the other person up and if someone in the room above us moved about they would wake both of us up. Overall, a big letdown for a hotel chain that has a good reputation. I would not stay there again. Read more

Had a very pleasant stay for two nights. Room was clean and spacious, bed comfortable and lovely and big. Swimming pool very relaxing. Trinity Square car park conveniently located opposite hotel.
