I couldn't fault the room - very modern and very comfortable! Almost plush in it's decor. Came with all the amenities needed and then some! However the room service and other food outlets need to be improved so that they don't leave an overall sour taste in the mouth.

I was treating my brother to a stay in Nottingham as a 25th birthday present, we got ourselves one of the "Twin Hilton Deluxe Rooms." The description of the room promised a games console, and premium movies; the main reasons I spent the extra money. We arrived and the check in was efficient and painless, and the room was... OK. Not four star, not deluxe, just OK. No games console, apparently they had stopped doing them ages ago. No movies, apparently they would be fixed Monday. The view was of graffitied flat rooftops. When asked what exactly I had bought with my extra money, they seemed somewhat perplexed and volunteered "extra floor space". The rating would be higher were the room not so expensive, I have stayed in similar rooms for a lot less money.

I booked this hotel direct via Hilton back in January, and then found the booking approx. £100 cheaper (for a 4 night stay), on Hotels.com a couple of months later. Well worth cancelling and rebooking via Hotels.com! The Hotel was of the typical standard you would expect for a 4 * City Centre venue. Rooms were of a decent size, clean and comfortable. The location for Nottingham City Centre could not have been better. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable for us tourists! Nice leisure facilities, including a decent sized pool. Though the Jacuzzi was a little chilly as attached to the main pool! Only bad-point was that the decor was perhaps slighty dated. Overall, was perfect for a long-weekend stay and I would defnitely recommend it.

I booked 2 rooms for my 40th birthday celebrations on Sat 22 Aug 2009. The triple was great had a double and single bed and was very spacious. The delux double was quite small and toilet did not work properly. This was sorted out quickly and a new twin room offered (which was much better). The staff were very friendly - brought up ice buckets to room, let us arrange late check out, leisure staff gave us towels. Breakfast very nice - lots of choice. I would certianly recommend this hotel - location is excellent. Only negatives are; bar prices and no free parking.

my wife and I have lived in nottingham all our lives (over 50 years)and have never stayed over in a hotel. After seeing a show I decided to stay over at the Hilton hotel on milton street having got a good online deal from hotels.com.I can say it was worth waiting! The service was excellent with fast check in and out.Hotel clean and well furbished, small but very nice room and we slept very well. The only complaint we had was the bar prices (typical hotel ripoff why do they charge extortionate prices)but with so many bars etc in nottm,we only indulged in a nightcap and would recommend everybody else to do the same.

got a great price for this hotel which is slap bang in the middle of nottingham but an oasis of calm. room was a very nice size with a great shower, and the use of the fitness centre was an added bonus. really enjoyed the stay here, only downside for me would be the bar staff were quite slow in serving when there was a crowd and didn't seem able to cope with that.

Step out of the door and you're right in the middle of the action of Nottingham - shopping, bars, clubs and restaurants. Inside the swimming pool is excellent as is the fitness room. Breakfast buffet had lots of choice - plus the breakfast chef did "orders" for omlettes, pancakes, poached eggs etc.

I booked a 'doulble deluxe room with breakfast' for my partner and I, for his birthday. We arrived and headed straight to check-in, after waiting 10 minutes we were seen and checked in. We went to the room allocated and it was obviously not a double delux room, more a single box room. They had me down as a single room with no breakfast? After a while they realised they had made a mistake and changed my room. Not a very good first impression.

We stopped off for a night whilst in the area. We had a family room which we shared with out two young children. Positives were the location in central Nottingham, a stones throw from a big cinema and lots of restaurants and bars, not far from the castle. The pool was a good size and pleasant. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were adequate. Our bed was not particularly comfortable, but otherwise it was all clean and in good order.

Had heard some bad things from a few sites, but thought I'd take the risk due to a great deal on a room. I was really surprised by just how nice the hotel was! Had a delux room, view out over part of the city. Clean and comfortably furnished, seemed quite new. Staff were great and service was nearer to a 5*. Anything I requested arrived immediately to my room. Also good breakfast, great omelette! The location is perfect, right in the city centre with all sights within 5-10 mins walk, right next to a major shopping centre. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!
