"good just for a place to sleep"
The room itself was clean however the roomservice could use a lesson in making beds. They could make a big improvement in the pool area just by providing some umbrellas to provide a little shade and maybe some new plastic furniture. Oh and while your at it, clean the pool.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A so-so hotel"
The hotel was clean. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was disappointing. 3/4 of the items were extremely sugary: there were donuts, cereal (1 sugary and 1 not), and juice. The hotel is in a good place and has a Denny's nearby that offers discounts to customers staying at this hotel. […] Overall, it was a decent stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Ease of access is the best feature.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
the motel was shown as new or near new according to picture on the internet. Thew room was dirty, we moved a lamp about ten inches, the dust and debris was still there all thru our stay. The maid cleaned the bathroom but failed to leave a bath mat, which we had to ask for.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Easy access on/off the highway"
Nice place to stay. Clean and quiet. Like most low cost motels, the pillows SUCK. Too small, lumpy and whenever you ask for another pillow, there are no extra available.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was very comfortable and the Hotel staff were very accomodating. The rooms were clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Dreadful Night Stay"
I requested a non-smoking room cause I have allergies and cigarette smoke is one of them, when I went to the front desk to see if thier was anything that could be done i was told it was a non-smoking room and somebody must have been smoking in the hallway. The employee asked a women who looked to be the owner "which floor is your family on" the 3rd […] floor was the answer and this was the same floor I was staying on, not only could you smell cigarette smoke you could smell food that was being cooked on the same floor, I could deal with the smell of cooking food but the cigarette smoke was too much. I am not sure what the exact law for public smoking is in the state of Idaho but for a non-smoking room I had to deal with that smell all night long. I will never stay or recommend this hotel ever again. I did stay in this same hotel in Feb of 2011 and this was a very pleasent stay compared to the current status of this hotel. If I had to guess I would say this is a private owned hotel that the entire family lives in while trying to run a business at the same time, that not usally a problem but your customers need to come first considering they are the ones paying for it. "Stay if You Must"
Instead of running the air conditioner, the doors were proped open. The air conditioner in the room sounded like a 747 taking off. This is a "stay if nothing else is available".Genuine Hotels.com guest review
overall hotel badly in need of renovation, grounds tacky, interior sad, carpets old worn, bed linens old & wornGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Clean and quiet rooms, I was pleased that the room and halls did not smell like smoke as many 2 star hotels do. The only negatives were the terrible smell outside ( Sugar beet plant) and lumpy pillows.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Comfortable bed! Personal immediate response when requested regarding the shower faucet. Well worth the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Worst hotel I have ever stayed in! We arrived at 11PM after a long day of driving and the front desk said the computer was down. He asked us if we could go eat somewhere and come back....at 11 at night!! Our room was supposed to be non-smoking and reeked of smoke. We went to go have "complimentary breakfast" at 6:30AM before we got back on the road. […] The breakfast was supposed to start at 6AM but all that was out was cereal with no milk and juice and coffee. I would never stay here again. I would rather sleep in my car.... "Not a good place"
I was traveling with a pet and called the hotel the day before arrival to confirm my non smoking room with a king bed and inform them I wouild have the pet with me. Despite that, when I arrived at the motel the room had been given to someone else with a pet. I was moved to what might have been a smoking room from the smell, with two double beds instead […] of a king. The room was not as clean expected. It had a thick layer of dust standing in every place that was above the eyesight of anyone shorter than 5' tall. The carpet looked worn and dirty. Worst of all, the toilet had not been cleaned. The outside of the building itself looked good, but the surrounding grounds looked like they had received no care for quite some time. There were piles of limbs and weeds had overtaken the islands. I will not be staying there again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Dirty Motel. Watch for bed bugs"
The room was very clean to the naked eye, but when I woke up the next morning i seemed to have bug bites and was very itchy...I recommend instead trying the shilo inn or the super 8 if you want a motel in that area. very cheap and nice people thoughGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Worst experience ever"
Parking lot and entry way was always blocked by 4 truckloads of traveling carpetbaggers who seemed to stay up all night making noise throughout the hotel. It was actually intimidating to enter the hotel. Bed and especially pillows were very uncomfortable. Entering the room I could see dust on every surface above what a 5 ft person could reach. Shower […] was dirty and curtain had slimey stuff all over it. I just retired this week and I have to say this was the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. I am usually very laid back and understanding and don't worry about small stuff. But this place is about the most unprofessional place I have ever seen. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would never stay again"
We ended up staying at this location for two consecutive nights. The beds were fairly comfortable and the room was clean but that is all I can say positive about this place. The walls were paper thin and I was awakened twice by noise and pounding coming for other rooms at 2:00am and 6:00am. We asked for maid service but all that was done was the dirty […] towels were picked up. The beds were left unmade and no new towels were left to replace the dirty ones. I had to ask for bath towels at the desk in order to be able to take a shower the following morning. The donuts at the breakfast counter both mornings tasted like they were "day old" donuts. Other than cold cereal that was all they had to eat. The overall grounds were in terrible condition and needed a gardener in the worst way; weeds everywhere. There was definitely no pride in ownership at this motel. I guess the price reflected the premises but I will not stay there again and would not recommend anyone else to do so either. Front desk service was very good with a friendly staff. The room was pretty clean but the beds were too soft and uncomfortable. Located near some type of refinery plant -not too far from downtown so it was convenient, but smelly at times Overall, I'd rate this a "good" place to stay but not as good as the Fairfield Inn & Suites.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Staff, Stinky Area"
First of all, the staff here was great. They were very accommodating and made sure we had a comfortable stay. The rooms were decent and the bed was mildly comfortable. However, the area the hotel is situated in was...stinky. There was some sort of industrial plant that spewed forth a repulsive cloud that penetrated the walls and windows of the hotels. "Will never stay here again."
Have stayed in this hotel before but will never stay there again. Stayed 4 days, and they only fully cleaned our room once. After that they only made the beds and filled the toilet paper. They didn't empty the trash, clean the sinks, or change the towels - at least once they just rehung our dirty towels. The toilet seat kept falling off, the cover for […] the heater fell off, the remote for the TV didn't work. The deodorant they used in the carpets in the hallways gave me major allergy issues. When my husband and I were walking up to the office, there was a group of people standing around drinking beer and smoking cigarettes right in front of the office. They were a crew of construction workers who were staying there. The bed was very uncomfortable, lumpy and hard to sleep in, besides being only a double. They didn't give us any cups or glasses for water or coffee. Back door was not secured as should be. I would have been leary about going outside alone, except for my 100 lb German Shepherd!
"Adequate for a One Night Stay"
09/28/14 Tim Y Reno, Nevada
This was the first night of our 9 hotel/10 day trip, and as we were burning miles to get to our final destination, we booked this hotel both for the price and its proximity to a Cracker Barrel restaurant about 2 miles away. So this hotel is simply adequate for a one night stay, but certainly no longer than that. The parking lot is fairly large and well lit. The smoking room that we booked was clean, and the window could be opened, which helped to minimize the odor. The mattresses were a bit soft, which induced a marginal backache which fortunately did not persist. The pillows are hilariously small and thin. While the noise from the nearby freeway was minimal, such was not the case for hallway noise such as doors closing and conversations, as light clearly came through the door frame into the room, proving that there was little isolation on the inside. We had no difficulty accessing the wi-fi with both smart phones and a laptop computer, and the speed was adequate. The breakfast area is quite small, resulting in congestion between the counter and the two or three tables. They have the now ubiquitous waffle maker along with the usual cereal, juice and coffee dispensers, so it is possible to find enough variety so as to not check out hungry. Staffing at the counter was inadequate that day, as I had to wait for over five minutes for a clerk to show up during the 9 to 10am prime time for checkout. There is no shortage of hotels near the freeway in Nampa Idaho. While the total cost for our stay was only $71, it is difficult to really recommend this hotel, though you'll get what you pay for.
"Wish I had slept in my car"
08/18/14 Lauren D Carbondale, Colorado, United States
This hotel was truly terrible: smoke smell room upon arrival requiring a room switch with 2 sleeping children, bathtub didn't drain, toilet clogged, breakfast not restocked after initial set up which led to an employee/employee dependent rolling her eyes at me when I asked for a fork and a cup. To top it off we all now have what appear to be bed bug bites perhaps explaining the pile of about 50 old mattresses stacked up out back of the hotel. Don't stay here.
07/30/14 K S Moses Lake, Washington
Property wasn't all that clean. Room looked clean enough and it looked like the mattresses has recently been upgraded, but the extremely dirty mattresses piled up outside where guests can see them was not a nice view. Tub water extremely slow to drain. Breakfast very slim pickings...cereal or waffles. No fresh fruit. Wifi only seemed to work on our devices if we were in the lobby area. I wouldn't stay here again.
07/29/14 Bignonna Elko
The lobby was filthy, Internet could only be accessed in the lobby at the computer station where you had to hear the attendant on the phone for the entire time searching for info on her recent MVA. Items from previous guest(s) left in fridge, coffee filter ripped open and left, shower had a nasty, wash rag tied into shower curtain and opened(used) soaps in it, entire room filthy. Only 3 tables in lobby area to eat complimentary breakfast at and the food looked nasty, we opted to pass. Asked to speak to manager and was told he and asst. manager out of town. Called repeatedly for a week, finally spoke to the manager who never apologized once and said he would check into it. Still waiting to hear from him.

The room was dirty, looked like a storage room--5 lamps--a chair so stained should have been taken to the dump years ago. wires all over the place. Stains on crumble carpet---never took my shoes off--It was never vacuumed while I was there. Will never stay there again--I go to Nampa about every 6 months--will stay in Boise where I know they have clean rooms--This hotel should be closed down.
"Rodeway Inn, Nampa, ID"
07/18/14 Michelle W Grangeville, Idaho
This is the most disgusting motel I've ever seen. The carpet had wrinkles in it from not being tacked down properly when installed and it was dirty. The bed sheets had black spots on them. The dresser drawer had paper in it with who knows what left on it and trash too. Bathroom floor looked dirty and caulking around tub and countertops was in dire need of being redone. Didn't even stay after walking into the room. Went to front desk to complain, but no refund was offered. Would not recommend staying here.
"welcoming and inviting"
07/13/14 Shannon a Boise, Idaho
The rodeway inn wa very welcoming and inviting from the first step in the door to check out. The rooms had added touches that made us feel like the housekeepers had taken a few extra minutes to make us feel at home. The front desk staff was amazing. We will definitly stay here again. The dennys restaurant is also located within walking distance and offers a 15% discount to guests. Thank you rodeway staff for making us feel great.
"Reasonable with drawbacks"
06/03/14 Pat D Seattle, Washington
This hotel was inexpensive and in a handy locatioin for our trip from Salt Lake to Seattle. The evening we arrived, the outdoor air around the motel had a totally obnoxious stench. The desk clerk kindly explained it was the sugar beet factory across the freeway and that there was a sewer treatment place a few miles away. In the morning, the air was clear and no odor. The rooms had just a trace of it. Our beds were comfortable and the room was passably clean. Breakfast consisted of a little more than continental but included waffles!
04/30/14 Lonnie P Nampa, Idaho
This is by Far the worst experience I have ever had. My Family and I were flat exhausted after a long travel day, 12 hour drive straight thru to get to Nampa for Family Emergency, upon the next day, we found out room119 had "boogers" all over the walls, hair in tub, bobby pins and junk on floor, and the kicker, the sheets weren't even changed, hence found a "unknown" sock in one of the beds, paint peeling off the walls, holes patched. told the front desk and ya know what ... they proceeded to argue with us over it.. saying sheets are changed daily and rooms cleaned daily, UMM No, but they did go back and lets say did a walk thru of the beds, but the floors were still full of pins and THEY LEFT THE SOCK on the floor, Oh AND lets not forget about the "complimentary Breakfast" It was None existent, barely enough syrup, ran out of batter, hence waffles and cereal was the only option, plus the maid service was terrible, a 3 year old can make beds better than they can, all they did was simply pull blankets back over the bed and called that good. then they were loafing around on the lobby computer and standing in the main doors smoking and bein rude wow. bottom line... don't treat your customers as if they don't know what they are talking about and business etiquettette... the customer is always right So don't waste your time here, go next door and stay at the SHILO, . I am going to make a complaint with the corporation
