    We stayed here because it was close to relatives in San Rafeal and close to San Francisco. The room was comfortable and quiet. It looked like it was completely full the first night we stayed and we never heard anyone else even though we were close to a corridor door. The continental breakfast was great. It had cereal, pastries, bagels, fresh fruit, […] yogurt and hard boiled eggs. If your a Starbucks fan, they even brew their coffee. The second day we went to the San Francisco Zoo. It was only a 40 minute drive there and an easy trip in. We will definitely be staying here the next time we have to go to San Francisco. Read more

    Considering the price of this hotel, it would be hard to find better. The complimentary breakfast is pretty good, during the weekdays they have 2 waffle irons going. Everything is laid out well and spread out to better prevent the inevitable "roadblocks" which is when the tourists encounter the well traveled business types.

    For the money if was okay. A strong "3". The staff were very friendly, breakfast was average, shampoo and soap were a "2". It was a good place to stay if you just needed a place that is near your event and a place to spend the night. It was clean, and location was good.

    We really liked everything about this hotel except they definitely need to do something about their heating/air conditioning units. There's no way to regulate the fan in the wall unit; it's either off or blasting. It was much too hot to sleep without it on, but it blasted so hard we finally had to put a pillow on top of the unit. We arrived well after midnite and Cathy at the front desk was such a welcoming, warm person...she gave great advice about where to park and about breakfast..so refreshing for a chain hotel! The room was super clean and comfy and the breakfast was pretty tasty! My daughter loved the waffle bar and my doughnut was very fresh and the […] coffee was surprisingly good. And lots of free morning newpapers..so nice! Also, the free wi-fi is a huge plus for us. My only complaint would be the temperature of the room when you first arrive on a warm day (80 in room) and the air conditioner was a bit loud, but it worked well and thus was not needed all night long.     The screen door would not lock so I was a little nervous sleeping with it unlocked. The air conditior came on at 4:00 a.m. even though I had turned it off, it would come on every five minutes, finally I got up and unplugged it from the wall. The pool area was clean and the view of the hills were beautiful.

    Enjoyed the room, the pool and the accessability to where we needed to be. The breakfast was pretty decent , but not extravegant. I would not recommend a room on the highway side. The only way not to hear the road noise is with the fan/ac on. I would stay again, but only in a room on the hill side of the facility.

I didn't want to have the window open because there was a loudmouth guest in another room carrying on a long, annoying phone conversation right next to HER open window... but that's certainly not the hotel's fault. Fortunately, the AC in my room worked […] great (since the window was not an option). The bed & pillows were fantastic, I had a good sleep. Free breakfast included fruit, pastries, cereal, bread & bagels, hardboiled eggs, juices, coffee, milk -- pretty standard "continental" fare, but a good selection of choices... and breakfast started early, at 6:00, which was much appreciated because I had to get on the road early.     The atmosphere of the hotel was very pleasing. It is located near the freeway, but you couldn't hear any noise and the view was of beautiful trees rather than the road. The room was very clean, nicely decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in or near Novato.
