The signature floor is amazing. I can drink all the time due to such hot season. The free food is good and the room is comfortable. I like the mango you provided in the room. i stay here everytime when I stay in Ho Chi MInh city. The price this time is excetionally low due to I used the dicount code with 20% off.

Only spent one night but it was really nice. Had a great rate as a Tet promotion. The room was very comfortable, great bed, clean and well maintained. Wifi included throughout. We stayed at the Caravelle twice during our two weeks in Vietnam in between our trip to Nha Trang. We loved the hotel and would stay again. The location in District 1 is perfect and there are many good places to eat and shop within walking distance. The Benh Thanh market is 10 minutes walking distance as well. Overall a great place to stay in Saigon. The hotel is a bit dated and there was no separate shower and tub like some of the other upscale places we stayed throughout Vietnam. This hotel does have a lot of history so if that's your thing then go with this place. The Park Hyatt across the street is gorgeous and a lot pricier.

Caravelle is a big hotel that seemed to be pretty busy this month. Morning breakfast buffet was good with a great variety of foods - most items change daily. Too bad husband got bit by some bugs while eating breakfast (restaurant near front entrance so possibility of bugs going in and out or could be the carpet). Bed is huge! Bathroom not as much. Wifi […] was a little spotty in the room, but much stronger in the lobby. Complimentary use of fitness center, pool, and spa amenities (steam room, sauna, jacuzzi) if a hotel guest - extra services at a charge, of course. Had nails painted at the Spa - would not recommend as the coat would not dry for 24hrs, scratches all over. Bottle was a certain high-end brand, but I think they refill it with something else. I like the location of this hotel, all shops, restaurants, cafes, supermarket and bakery are nearby within 5 minutes walking. Hotel staffs are extremely friendly. Caravelle is an institution in a fabulous location but has long been in need of a facelift. It is starting to happen so as long as you get one of the renovated rooms then this is a great place to stay. We booked a standard room but were offered an upgrade for a little extra that got us to the Club rooms on the top floor, complete with late check out […] til 6pm (perfect for an 8.45pm flight) as well as access to the Club Lounge for breakfast, snacks at night and drinks during the day...a real bargain. Great Hotel, very central location, superb service. Only slight spoiler was that we were offered a free room upgrade when we arrived - wonderful - only to be asked to pay for it when we left!! Was resolved all OK and we didn't have to pay but make sure you double confirm in writing if they offer you an upgrade on arrival.
