This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Conveniently near the airport in Richmond, Accent Inns Vancouver Airport is close to Aberdeen Centre, Richmond Centre Mall, and Richmond Olympic Oval. Additional area attractions include Metropolis at Metrotown and Kwan Yin International Buddhist Temple.

"Great choice!"
Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

When we booked in Feb. 12 and 13th we had been told there would be long term parking. This was not the case. Our first room: t.v. screen giggles, the ice bucket was cracked, we had to stand on the bed to get the bedroom t.v. to work, coffee pot lid didn't fit and even the pen didn't work. The rooms are a bit worn down and it wasnt the cleanest. However, the beds were in good condition and comfortable. The biggest issue was the door which was difficult to shut. You had to slam it pretty good to get it to close which also meant that you heard your neighbors slamming their doors when they entered or left their rooms. The price was fair. It was a good value for the money. We had a cat with us so they put us in a pet room, which was very clean and did not smell. It is good that they put people with pets in separate pet rooms so that all the rooms in the hotel do not risk having animal odors. The staff was very accomodating and helpful. "Nice commuter motel"
Above average two story motel. helpful staff. I needed to wash my motorcycle and they set me up with a wash rack and everything I needed. Has washer and dryers. Motel has passes for a first class gym a short walk away.

The hotel is completely 100 % non-smoking-which means the room did not have any lingering smells. The hot tub is small, the water was very hot-I enjoyed it. The shuttle to and from the airport was great, and they will also shuttle you to the sky train. Good place for an overnight stay.

"Nice & quiet Richmond Hotel"
Wonderful setting with trees around, within minutes bus ride to Aberdeen Center and skytrains. Convenient free shuttle to skytrain Bridgepoert station and airport. Bedding was comfortable and clean, and housekeeping was good. Indian restaurants with 10 minutes walk. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I'll come back again.

"Just barely sufficient"
Good location but many issues- Carpets were old/worn/felt dirty (where you don't want to go barefoot on them). Beds and comforters were a bit old, mattress was comfortable, but the midlayer blanket had two cigarette burn holes in it... Sink had some places where it was damaged and the white had worn off. Hotel is okay. Small room but it's comfy inside. The hall way in the hotel though is dirty. There's coffee cup on the stairs and and cigarette buds. But aside from that it's nice.

"One night stay"
we stayed for one night to be near the airport. They have a shuttle which takes you to the skytrain, but it is a 40 min. ride to downtown. The room was very comfortable and the shower was the best we had on our trip, including some deluxe hotels. A very good choice.
"Non-functional bathroom, not for light sleepers"
The hotel is okay. I would have given it a 3-star, but our bathroom wasn't working. Toilet didn't flush and the water overflew onto bathroom floor. Yeah, I know it's grossed. So we complained and the frontdesk gave us a breakfast coupon. They're also doing some sort of construction/renovation (Jun 11) so it's not very convenient and visually unpleasant. "Great hotel - inconvenient construction"
The location, size of room and customer service were excellent. Our room was a bit too close to the construction area for comfort (noise at 7:30 AM) but I would definitely stay again if the construction is complete or if I could be sure my room is in a different wing.

"June 2011 stay"
I picked this hotel for the proximinity to the airport. Though this hotel is doing a major upgrade to one wing of the hotel, we had a very pleasant room to stay in and it was in walking distance of several restaurants. What impressed me most was the kindness and helpfulness of the hotel staff. They are why I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is under remodeling and we could hear all the machine noise starting at 8 in the morning, even with our windows closed. It'd be great if we knew the hotel is under remodeling in advance and we would not have chosen this hotel. They should not put people in the rooms next to the construction area. "Big Disappointment"
Let's be frank here. It's not a hotel. It's a cheap motel, the sort that you find next to a freeway exit in the middle of nowhere. And then the service was subpar. We asked for two extra comforters for my kids and the woman said they had one left. When she brought it over, it wasn't a comforter, it's just a cover sheet.

As we checked into the hotel we were nicely greeted by 2 employees. Check in was smooth. got our keys and went to our rooms. Oh before I type more, the parking is horrendous. i think it was due to their remodeling. They had scaffolds and tons of debris all over the exterior of the hotel. "Accent Inn's great hospitality"
Loved the way we were treated, from the free shuttle pick up at the airport to the welcome by the front desk receptionist . The clean room was very suitable for our needs, and the shuttle to the nearest Canadaline station the next day was the icing on the cake.

For the price, it was good.
We only stayed for one night, but the room was a great size for all of us (5), clean, quiet (we had a room in the back), and comfy beds. Restaurants are near by (walkable distance).

Sure, there are many motor hotels that have a few other and more expensive ammenities, but good value, cleanliness, traveler services (laundry/pet friendly/in your room coffee maker/frig/micro, etc) you won't find a better value. We had no plans to sit in our hotel room for extended stays but rather intended visiting as many sights and staying as busy […] as possibl during our stays in BC cities so weren't looking for a hotel with a number of ammenities we really had/have no need. All we need is a clean, easily accessible hotel with television, pet friendly, complimentary wireless or wired internet access and daily room service. Accent Inns have these for an excellent price. The accomodation was really comfortable. they even offered us a microwave without any charge. And also a late check out. We would definitely choose this hotel again. The hot tub was awesome.

"It's Always A Pleasure"
I've been staying at the Accent for several years and it's always a pleasure. The staff are helpful, rooms are tidy and shuttle is convenient. Plus, there's a great IHOP onsite. I'd definitely recommend the Accent Inn.
Got in really late from Cancun... the hotel was understanding and helpful. didnt have alot of hoops just a quick check in and off to sleep.

"Never Again"
I frequent the Accent Inn in Burnaby and the Hotel is immaculate. I spent one night at the Richmond Accent Inn several years ago and found it to be run down. They "renovated" the outside but the rooms are still tired. I don't mind paying extra for my 4 legged partner, but they better spend the extra on maintaINING THE PET ROOMS. tHIS PLACE IS STILL […] TIRED AND i DEFINITELY WILL NOT GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE. Shuttle took 40 minutes to get to the airport for pick up. Night desk clerk was very nice; morning desk clerk seemed less than friendly. Heater/airconditioner was very loud all night. Room smelled musty. Will not stay there again.
