My Stay was awesome!!! Very clean and the views from my room were awesome. Excellent staff!! The pool was a little cool. The work out equipment was great. You really can not beat the location.. I plan on going back and staying here.

It was a steal computer to the hotels in the surrounding area-nothing fancy but they had breakfast, a pool, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. You can walk to some decent restaurants in the area. My only disappointment was in the TV- it was an awkwardly-located old CRT TV.

I had a wonderful stay for several days in April 2013. Not a 5 Star Hotel, but everything exceeded my needs. Staff was incredibly efficient, helpful and friendly. Used the small gym and access to the pool, there was a wonderful selection for the morning continental breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend a fan in the exercise room. It was quite warm in there due to it being next to the pool.

We had a bit of trouble checking in because of booking with hotels.com, but it turned out to be better than planned. The front desk clerk was nice, and the room was pretty clean. The pool and spa were small but nice and relaxing. The hotel was very easy to find right off the highway as well. We would definitly stay here again.

Stayed for one night, while in town for a hockey tournament. Place is clean and appears to be well taken care of. However, they seem to be short-staffed at night. At about 9-9:30 pm my toilet started backing up. No one answered the phone at the front desk or housekeeping. Went down to the front desk, no one is there. Finally I tracked down an employee, […] who appeared to be the only employee on-duty. He handed me a plunger and I ended up clearing the clog myself. Fortunately, it wasn’t serious and didn’t require a cleanup. I probably could ask the employee to clear it, but I just wanted to get it done and get to sleep. Overall, the Microtel was a descent hotel. The room was clean and for as little time we spent at the hotel during our stay it was more than sufficient. There were some annoyances. First, our tv remote did not work on the tv which was the old standard box tv.. We got another remote but it did not work. The hotel clerk brought a third one but it did not […] work. I ended up looking up the remote brand on line and figured out how to program it to the tv in the room myself. The hotel gets very hot and the room air conditioner took awhile to cool. It would of helped if the maid had let it run during the day but instead it was turned off. The hotel is pet friendly and caters to families on a budget. Our room rate was half the rate of the other hotels across the street which more than made up for the issues. I highly recommend for families on a budget. The location is convenient off I-25 and a good jump off to the area sites. Read more

Awesome everything. Super kind staff. Great room (was kindly bumped up to suite, free of charge). The only knock was that the floor I was in smelled like the Colorado Weed convention. Thankfully inside room it was dismissed. But in the hallways....whoa. That said, really was surprised at how nice this place was.

It was out 3rd stay at the Microtel, the first time and this time was wonderful. Tracey the gal at the front desk was awesome. Too bad more customer service people are not like her!!We will be traveling with our kids and grandkids in March and will definately use Microtel for our stay!!
