This has been the best stay I have had at a Microtel. The surrounding area is not too bad- kinda quaint and homely. The day staff can be a little more personable. Was told when booking would have XBox capability..Did not no internet access. Was told during booking check out was 12 noon..got a call at 11 am to check out! So whoever does the booking needs to know what they are talking about when asked specific questions! Will not be using this particular hotel/motel chain in the future!

We stayed at the Microtel for two nights. The room was very clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly. Anything that we asked for, they would make sure to provide. Rooms were cozy but linens and pillows reeked the smell of dust. Continental breakfast ends too early at 9:30 am. Good location,hotel right next to major highway. Overall stay was good for the money paid.

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly. The rooms represented what I found on the internet. As I read the reviews before booking they noted the breakfast area was small, which it was. This was the only drawback we really found. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days and the overall experience was good.

Hotels.com had this listed as 2.6 miles from our destination, in reality it was more like 10 miles, 3 exits up. Otherwise it was good for the price. The staff was great and so was the breakfast.

The hotel was right off the interstate. However, it was not that clean. We reserved a suite, when we opened the couch/bed, they left dirty sheets on the mattress. I had to call the front desk to get clean sheets. The bathroom was never fully cleaned. Had to buy a can of Lysol to clean the toilet seat, it was left visibly dirty especially behind the […] toilet lid. Room was clean. Cold nights and heater wasn't too effective Overall odor in common areas of the hotel. Breakfast was OK but not enough places to sit and they don't want you to take food to the rooms. Plenty of parking and easy on/off highway.

My daughter and I were in the area for a visit to the campus of Elon University. Although the hotel was not quite as close to the university as I had hoped, it was still a very nice hotel stay. I imagine that this will be our go-to hotel when we are back for our next visit.

I crisscross NC quite often, and Burlington is a nice midway stopover on Interstate 40. This location is convenient and clean. I had a mini-suite that was roomy, quiet and comfortable. Booked in for one night on my way to Atlanta. The hotel was easy to find, clean and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was good and there were no issues with the room. I took a smoking room, but I'm an ex-smoker. The room was as advertised, so make sure that if you want a non-smoking room that you request it.
