Excellent stay. We were party of four visiting family. Great location to meet up with family. We had large bedrooms facing square, noise can be a problem but it did not worry us. Breakfast good and plenty of choice. Staff friendly and helpful. Have stayed before and will stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel in Glasgow City Centre"
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff were excellent and very helpful. The breakfast was good quality and plentiful. We had booked a superior room and access to their club room for drinks etc, but were upgraded to a suite as the aircon wasn't working in our room.Genuine Expedia guest review
Visited Glasgow for a family birthday party. Hotel chosen for reputation and location. Location superb, reputation disappointed. We had a tiny room with barely enough room to swing a cat with extremely tired decor - being a regular traveller not what I'd expect of this class of hotel chain.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A pleasant surprise after all the bad reviews"
Hotel reviews were not encouraging so I was apprehensive and expecting the worst before we arrived. Only booked it because it was a good deal and the location was so central. Was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the hotel could do with some refurbishment - the carpets need replacing and the place was looking tired. It could also do with a coat of paint here […] and there. However, our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Bathroom was very nice. Given what we paid for it, I'd consider it a bargain. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was fine. It is in centre of Glasgow so convenient for everything. Vey big and spacious room. Could never manage to get on to internet though. Always busy. And main downside was that breakfast was not included in cost.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and brilliant staff"
I always enjoy staying here, the start are so helpful and I know I am always going to get great service. The rooms are comfortable and the location is great, very central to Glasgow and only a few minutes walk to all the shops in Buchanan St and St Enoch's Great views over St George Square and great buffet breakfast, the discount on parking is also […] brilliant!! "Poor quality of rooms"
Room had damage to many parts of the ceiling. Tea & coffee facilities in room don't think they had been replenished from the last guest had 1 tea bag no sugar & a couple of milk. Carpets in corridors ripped & put back together with tape. Overall not a great stay didn't feel comfortable place.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location , central for everything"
Stayed this weekend when visiting family, i chose hotel as next to queen street train station. I was able to save time on my journeys, staff were lovely and very attentive, the room and bathroom were very spacious and provided everything that was needed. "A tired Hotel, in need of a lick of paint ."
Comfy Beds, room was next to Railway station and a tremendous noise all night long from what sounded like generators and the cleaning of the station. This Hotel is tired, and in desperate need of a lick of paint and a refurbish, no polished tops left on tables all worn, paint chipped everywhere and carpet taped down all through the hotel where it has […] worn to prevent tripping. The staff and consiage I cannot fault they were very very helpful. They did change our room on our return a few days later . The Rooms were clean. Their amenities are brilliant, it just badly needs updating. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not a 4* Hotel"
How this hotel is rated 4* i do not know. The decor is majorly outdated and in desperate need of refurbishment. The rooms have very high ceilings however the decor and furniture do not compliment this. The carpets are very outdated and were dirty. The only positive comment i can say about the rooms was the bathroom- very largeGenuine Expedia guest review
Stayed one night in club room in Millenium and it was fabulous..great size, very clean, comfy bed, marvellous view onto George Square and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Would definately stay there again and Id definitely recommend to family and friends xGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fantastic location for the cut centre"
Location is perfect for Glasgow City Centre, very close to Queen Street stationGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean Central Glasgow Hotel"
I had a room on the third floor which was quiet;the view wasn't great but that was because my room wasn't looking out onto George Square, which would have been a lot noisier. The room was clean and WiFi was available at extra charge in the room. No problems at all really. I'd stay there again as it has a very convenient location.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel in city centre."
Lovely stay at the millunium hotel. Great staff, very attentive. Room cosy with a fantastic view of George Square.Genuine Expedia guest review
Could not fault the staff at the hotel they were brilliant. The hotel is very central in Glasgow, however due to it being next to the train station it is very noisy at all times. Rooms are dated which is disappointing as we expected better.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Wouldn't stay again"
While the location is convenient, the hotel is old and dirty. Lots of noise from the street below, stained carpets, general maintenance issues (cracked tiles, bathroom shelf barely attached, plumbing didn't work well). Generally the staff was helpful although I did call the front desk a couple of times with no answer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Tired and run down"
The hotel rooms are in desparate need off refurbishment. The photos online bear little resemblence to the rooms we stayed in. The hotel is in a very central location and the staff are friendly, but overall this hotel cannot be recommended! Plenty of better hotels in close proximity!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel in city centre but some let downs."
Nice, very clean hotel with friendly staff but there were a few gripes. we could not check in for 25 minutes after the 2pm check in time as the room wasn't ready, leaving my partner and I late for an appointment. The shower was also cold both in the evening and the morning. Nothing major but could have been better.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Ideal for City overnight stay"
Booked for parents when they were attending a show nearby. Location ideal for the Royal Concert Hall. Right on George Sq. Told by parents that hotel could do with a spruce up but room large, comfortable and clean. Service good and breakfast lovely.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Tired and run down - don't trust the photos!"
I booked a club room as the photographs showed nicer, more modern decor. I was very disappointed with the room it was no different to a standard room other than receiving some free bottled water and a bathrobe and slippers. The bathrobe was old, thin and tatty! The carpets and furniture looked worn and grubby. The pillows on the bed were lumpy and flat. I […] stayed here in February in a standard room and felt it was in need of some TLC. However the location of the hotel suited me therefore I stayed again and took the Club Room expecting a bit more luxury, comfort and nicer decor. Don't be fooled by the photographs! "IDEAL LOCATION, NEAR RAIL STATION AND SHOPS"
STAYED THREE NIGHTS, FOR A UNIVERSITY REUNION. GOOD, CALM ATMOSPHERE, AND EXCELLENT BAR AND RESTAURANT SERVICE. CELEBRATORY DINNER SERVED IN A PRIVATE ROOM, WITH OUR OWN WAITER . ALL VERY ENJOYABLE.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location/great value"
Lovely hotel in perfect central location. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Hallway carpets a bit grubby but otherwise no complaints.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was dated, carpet was grubby and stained, there was mould on the bathroom ceiling and the room failed to heat up during the two days we were there. The room position was above a busy bus stop, pub and traffic lights and the glazing failed to keep out the cold and the noise. We were originally put into a room which was already occupied but […] the staff did not seem bothered by the breach of that persons privacy/security. Severe lack of attention to detail and service. Would not recommend. The only positive is the hotels location but this is not enough to justify the high price paid. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"twin rooms need upgrade"
Location was great and really cheap for a 3 night stay but twin rooms were in desperate need for update, furniture and fittings really shabby and heating not working well so pretty cold throughout our stay. "my first time in Millennium Hotel"
I wasn't that good health wise when I stayed at the Hotel but I was with a friend and he commented that he enjoyed the breakfast,I had a few pieces of fruit which were also good, there was a good selection of food to choose from. Bedroom was comfortable but a recommendation for future use is to get a room facing George Square, the room we had faced Queen […] St Station and there was only a ventilation system to look at,That would be my only complaint for the Hotel. I come to Glasgow regularly and I shall stay there in future. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location in George square"
Rooms need some updating , still sash windows. Rooms on the queens station side to have a running commentary from the station announcer, but that is not too disrupting - however better to avoid it if possibleGenuine Expedia guest review

"nice hotel but constant tanoid from train station"
the hotel was very nice but we were in room 227 which is through the wall to the staff utility cupboard and outside the windows which aren't double glazed there is a station entrance were every 5-10 mins a loud musical tone plays followed by announcements, it stops at night but begins again at 7am and its loud. also our shower didnt work properly and […] when we checked out the staff didnt ask how our stay was so we didnt say, the room was nice but a bit cramped with the bed almost against the door and the wardrobe next to the door too. everything else was fine Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Tired, needs renovation"
The hotel looks shabby from the outside, and the decor is dated. My room smelled of damp. Also, most hotels now provide complimentary room wifi, so was not happy with having to pay for this. On the plus side, the room was air conditioned.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value for money"

"Needs a facelift"
I was impressed with the reception and bar area, and the check-in staff were very helpful. The lifts are too small, two average-sized people with suitcases can barely fit in. My room was was freezing and grubby. The carpet was absolutely filthy, there was paint peeling from the walls, and in the bathroom, there was a huge patch of brown damp on the […] ceiling. The coldness came from two huge sash windows, one in the room, and another in the bathroom. At night, closing the curtains in the bedroom eliminated some of the draft coming in from the window, but there was not even a blind in the bathroom, and a radiator that was not switched on and not connected to the AC unit, so it was absolutely baltic! The bathroom could definitely have done with at least a blind on the window. The shower instructions did not match the shower unit, so it was fun and games trying to get that to work! The bed was comfortable but it would have been nice to have been supplied with extra blankets given it was middle of winter. I woke up in the middle of both nights from the cold. There was rubbish left in the room that had been missed from the previous guest. It was just some sweetie wrappers, but still a bit off-putting. Given all that, the room was spacious and there was plenty storage, and a small seating area by the window to enjoy a cup of complimentary tea and look out onto George Square, which was nice during the day, but being so central it was very noisy during the night. "Rooms shabby but ok."
Hotel is in excellent condition in public areas but the rooms could do with some doing up. They are dated and small things that are damaged/worn that could do with replacing. Service was second to none though, faultless reception team who were very welcoming and friendly. Noise from George Square was quite a lot and constant, but its a city centre hotel. […] If I were to stay again I would ask for a room on the rear of the hotel. Location was excellent. Despite a few faults, what you pay to stay here is pretty decent and yes, I would stay again. Another plus is of you book a 'club room' they are massive rooms so worth the extra few quid. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Whilst a lot of money has been spent on the ground floor foyer and restaurant, the rooms appear to have had zero investment. My room had 20 year old furniture, the bedding had holes in it, the decor was terrible and to add to it the windows were so bad the sound level was equivalent when open or closed. The additional bedding needed to keep the room […] at temperature without turning on the rattling heater was covered in stains. The plastic kettle was covered in stains and obviously had not been cleaned for a long time. Finally the shower was like standing underneath a dripping tap. This hotel does not deserve it's AA 4 star rating and is a disgrace. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Disappointed from start to finish!"
Stayed at millenium hotel for the first time at new year, didn't get off to a great start as if phoned he hotel twice in relation to parking and was advised to park in Buchanan galleries for a few of £10. I parked in Buchanan galleries and stopped a membe if staff I. The car park for directions to the hotel, I was advised by the staff member that I […] couldn't park there as the car park was closed the following day, I phoned the hotel to explain and was advised I could park in queen steet train station or an ncp car park, obviously I was extremely annoyed as by this point I had all my luggage out of the car and why was I not told this when I phoned twice previously!!?? Hotel staff were pleasent enough on arrival when checking in, although once we arrived to our room we were extremely disappointed, the size of the room wasn't the issue it was the poor condition. Wallpaper was stained from the heater on the wall, there was a large patch up job on the ceiling from a previous roof leak and there was no main light making the room very dark and difficult to get ready, I had requested a George square facing double room and instead my view was the side of queen street train station and it was 2 single beds pushed together.... Absolutely ridiculous. We alerted the staff how disappointed we were and requested to be moved. We were advised that the rooms are "very tired" but unfortunately we could not be moved. Disappointed from start to finish... Not worth the money!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The pictures on the website did not look like the room that we stayed in. When we checked in we were sent to a room down the far hall way through talk fire door and down the hall some more, around a corner as far away as you could possibly get.
