Room Was Clean. Bed Was harder than I like. Hotel Is Older. They Did Jack Their Rates Up $20 More Than Normal Because There Was A Basketball Tournament In Wichita And Surrounding Areas. $65-$75 A Night Room, Not $99.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We were very pleased with our stay. The only thing missing from our room was the coffee pot and that's not bad because I'm trying to quit.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The setting of our "inside" room was good. Our door opened into a large hall with several tables for playing games etc. I booked this hotel so that I could use the spa (shown on their photos) for my arthritis. The spa was broken and I was told there is no intention to get it fixed. The tub was very slick on the bottom which nearly caused me to fall (no anti-slip mat). The free breakfast was average.
"A Nice Place to Stay"

The room was clean and everything worked. The bed was very comfortable. I stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, which was a hoot! I was tempted to try out the red, heart-shaped tub, but decided to just shower instead.

We were greeted by a very nice, helpful front desk attendant. The hotel is older and dated, but the room was clean and comfortable. The eggs and sausage were not good, but the other offerings were comparable to other hotel continental breakfasts.
"One night stay"

Good for a quick place to sleep right off the interstate. Clean but not up to date. Breakfast bar could use some work but overall a good stay. Bed was comfortable and clean. The room had very easy access and felt secure. We were not disturbed by noise of any kind. We would/will stay again.

I like that after a long drive we arrived at Red coach and the service was really good, the rooms were very very clean, there wasn't any stains on the Tubs or hairs, they respect your privacy and i also like the location, is close by to restaurants. The breakfast was good. I would definitely recommend this place specially after a long drive. I like that it wasn't as expensive as other places. Overall I had a good experience.

After driving 500 miles we arrived at this facility. We had a reservation for 1 night king room. At check in our room turned out to be a SMOKING ROOM which I would never have booked. There were no other rooms left. The manager on duty called another Best Western which actually ended up not on our route. We are frequent travelers so maybe a glitch now and then can be expected but I believe this was terrible customer service and totally unexceptable. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this was necessary. Stay somewhere else.
"Older hotel, Rooms Smell of Smoke. Night Staff Need Improvement."

We stayed here in August because we wanted to make use of one of their honeymoon suites. It was our anniversary! However, we made the mistake of checking in after 11 pm, and check-in took FOREVER. It seems whoever was checking us in couldn't understand what my S/O was saying. I don't know if the employee was new or what. So he had to wait for a manager-type to come and help him out. Check-in alone took upwards of 20 minutes--yikes! After that whole ordeal was over, we finally got to the room, and guess what? Our room keys didn't work! We tried to use the keys they gave us, to no avail. Eventually we went back to the front desk and inquired as to what the problem might be. They had given us the wrong room keys! They finally figured it out and gave us a new set of keys. We got to the room, and immediately we were overcome with a smell of smoke. They had guaranteed us a non-smoking room, but it definitely smelled like smokers commonly made use of this room. Gross. We got settled in, and enjoyed the hot tub, though the number of mirrors in the honeymoon suites was kind of weird. It is definitely an older hotel, and the room showed some wear and tear. The furniture and comforter were definitely dated. After the whole check-in fiasco, we did enjoy the rest of our stay. When we checked out in the morning, the desk staff was friendly and helpful. We requested a late checkout and they were more than happy to grant us that. We would just recommend to other guests that they try to get into the hotel BEFORE the night shift comes on, because that employee clearly had no idea what he was doing.

Old Hotel, but staff are exceptional and cleanliness is outstanding, which makes up for the older facility. In addition, you can park in front of your room, very important to me since I travel with medical equipment.
"Nice, Friendly Place To Stay"

I spent two nights here. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room very clean. I stayed during an ice and snow storm followed by below zero morning lows (not because of the weather, merely a coincidence). I had an inside room that was nice and warm. The breakfast area however was rather chilly. The price was good, lower than a lot of others in town. Inside rooms are about $10 more a night than outside rooms but with the weather it was worth it. Breakfast was average but fresh. I'll stay here again if I'm back in Newton sometime.
"Great Price, Smells of Smoke"

This is a great price. We stayed here with a large family. Many of the rooms open up into an atrium with tables and chairs - great for casual group gatherings. There is also a pool. The rooms are old, but clean. They do smell strongly of smoke, though. The hotel is located near several truck-stop diners, which serve amazing breakfast.
