Best Western Franklin Inn

I and my wife have stayed here several time on trips back and forth to Florida. We have always had great sevice, pleasant, and clean rooms. Also the breakfast is a great value!

The non-smoking room was actually a smoking room. No parking was available due to all the construction workers and truckers parking big Riggs. The girl at the front desk was sweet and tried to help butility we eventually left because of condition of rooms and no parking.

Everything was fair--not wonderful and not horrible. We were only there one night and I'm glad we weren't there longer. The hot breakfast was a good perk--eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy...but the food was only ok. Nothing to write home about.

Will never stay again. The heating unit was so loud that we tried to sleep with it off, unfortunately the walls are paper thin and we were kept awake by the noises outside (traffic and other guests). The maid came and removed our wet towels and gave us clean ones when we asked for them, but that was it. Breakfast was just OK. For the price it was ok. It was like sleeping on the streets. Noisy, people getting drunk and shouting, Did not get a wink of sleep . Will never stay in this hotel.

This is an older Motel. Of course the rooms are not going to be modern. I was pleased with the cleanliness. The bed linens were fresh and clean and the pillows were more than satisfactory. I was surprised to see such a big tv in the room. Hotel was ok. As a single woman traveling alone, I was weary of staying in the room at the back of the hotel (it's an outdoor hotel which has two stories). My experience with BEST WESTERN Franklin Inn has been anything but consistent; but this is definitely one of the BETTER ONES. I would not have given this motel a 2 1/2 star rating. Its a motel that has been updated a bit. The room was small , but adequate. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. We were only there over night and we might go again if its a quick trip.

I was pleased. An older hotel, but making lots of effort to update what can be. Room looked nice, felt clean, had a lot of amenities of new, more expensive hotel chains. Breakfast was okay. Mattress on our bed was very comfortable, slept very well. Overall, very pleased for the rate we paid.

Staff not organized. Made everyone wait until 3:00pm to check in so check took too long. One patron was given keys to a room that was already occupied. Continental breakfast was not pleasant- ran out of fruit, ran out of coffee several times, had to ask for milk, and no room to sit in the dining area. Will not stay there again

Our stay was wonderful here. I have a physician that I visit in Franklin from out of state. I had a surgical procedure done and needed to book an extra night and it was taken care of with no problems. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Very bad stay. Although we had a reservation and arrived late, they gave us a smoking room and tried to tell us it was a nonsmoking room. We had NO hot water in the morning for showers. Pros: Good location right off the highway; room was clean. Cons: Room was outdated; air conditioner was noisy; hair dryer did not work; price was too much for what you got. This place is okay for an overnight stay, but it's definitely not a place to linger in. It's bare bones, and the price should reflect that. I thought it was too expensive.
