Not do close to the town center, but very confortable. Good pricing, mainly when breakfast is included. Internet Wi-Fi works fine. Staff attitude is the best. Very helpful.

This was a stop over prior to heading further south. We had a family room which was very spacious and very clean. The staff very very helpful and friendly. The hotel overlooks the Loire river and only 10 minutes walk from the centre where there was a plentiful supply of restaurants and bars.I would highly recommend this hotel

Nice, comfortable room - nothing remarkable but good enough for an overnight stay. The staff were pleasant and welcoming, especially on front desk. Kids (age 8 and 10) were happy enough to share a bed, although a family room with a double and 2 singles would be better if that was an option. The restaurant was next to the pool and we got splashed a lot […] while eating, so that wasn't great - and the food was not that great either to be honest. Best to wander into town to eat - and it is easy to walk there. We would have had the express breakfast in the morning except no-one was at the bar to serve. So we gave up, checked out and went to a service station instead - much cheaper and pretty good food there! Read more

Generally good. Well presented hotel and helpful staff. Only complaint was about constantly yapping dogs in neighbouring rooms! Couldn't believe it when they were also allowed in the retaurant!!! They weren't guide dogs. Ideally placed for our stopover from South of France to Calais. Nice swimming pool ideal for children after a long journey.

1980s brown / orange decor which is very dated but we quite like the retro. look. Room for 3 was enormous and overlooking the river. Really quiet and peaceful on the 7th floor. Didn't use the pool as it was late and the pool position is quite exposed from reception and next to the road which lost some appeal. Wifi was great and free, could watch the […] news in English., Best of all only 5 mnnutes walk to the central squares and restaurants in Orleans and so for a stopover was a great position for a hotel. Breakfast would have been OK but it looked like the chef hadn't turned in and they ran out of most things but when I suggested that we pay half price for it there was no quibbling. All staff were very helpful and I would definitely choose to stay here again. The hotel is very convenient to the town center with a 15 to 30 minute walk depending on how quickly you want to get there. The pool was great, the room was clean and tidy, with comfortable bed. What a view...La Loire river and swimming pool. We all enjoyed a dip in the pool although a lack of sun loungers meant we immediately had to return to the room rather than enjoy the sunshine. Not a bad hotel but could be do much better with a little effort. Staff are adequate but do not make an effort or put themselves out to assist you. Courteous but not friendly or welcoming. Unfortunately, the pool was drained when we were there and the hotel only seemed to have one bottle opener for the bar and separate restaurant so we had to wait 10 minutes for a glass of wine to be poured at the bar. We found all exactly as described, with the rooms and beds large and comfortable. The meal at Le Barentin across the road from the hotel was excellent. A very convenient stop on the long drive from London to the far south of France.

We booked this hotel as a stop over on the way South, the hotel was a little awkward to get to and we had to go across the bridge and double back on ourselves as we approached it on the same side of the river as it is situated, I know that thus sounds daft and I am sure the locals can get to it easier then we did, although for a first time it was a […] little awkward. We arrived about 8/9 ish and went to the restaurant for a meal, which was average at best. The room was good and clean and the beds were comfortable. We booked to stay there on the return journey and would say that it's an ok hotel. Note that the parking was €5.50 and we had some additional local taxes to pay which were not mentioned at booking. A good room in a nice hotel close to the centre of town. We stopped over returning from Andorra and found the hotel easily. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. We didnt stay for breakfast as at 15 euro each it meant a £40 breakfast for the three of us!! Expensive!

After a 10 hour drive this was a fantastic hotel to arrive at. The parking is on site, the staff were extremely helpful and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a good night at the hotel. Only a short walking distance along the Loire to the restaurant area. Good spacious room, and efficient service. We felt the breakfast was over-priced at 15€ - nothing out of the ordinary for a 'continental breakfast'. Good thing the room was air-conditioned - very warm night outside - pleasant inside.

Stayed on the way back from Disneyland on route to the south. Hotel staff very helpful in organising a pizza to be delivered for 3 very tired young children. Wished we had had a pizza as the food in the hotel was not v. good Rooms large and spacious. Air con a deadloss and the windows couldn't be opened as the flood lights on the hotel attracted bugs. […] A note in the room did advise not opening them becasuse of this but it does beg the question why flood light the hotel? After a long drive North through France on the way back to the UK, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for an overnight stop. It was easy to find from the motorway, and signposted all the way. We have 3 children under 7 and booked a double family room with a sofa bed, We took our own travel cot for our 2 year old and there was plenty of room for […] this. In fact, we had a dressing room/cupboard space so large that we could have put the cot in there. The bedroom and bathroom were both spotless. We used the swimming pool to cool off after the journey, although it was a bit cold and is right next to the main road - but this didn't really matter. The hotel is a short walk to the centre of Orleans and we found a good restaurant nearby. Orleans seemed like a lovely city and we wished we had more time to have a look around.
