The inside corridors smell like an ashtray. The pool was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast did not offer alot. Beware, Pet friendly hotel but only certain rooms.

We had to keep asking for items that were empty at the breakfast bar when we arrived to eat at 8:00 a.m. nothing was replenished. We stayed one night in this hotel because it was one of the closest available for where we were traveling. But it was simply a means to an end. It would've been nice to have a room with 2 queens, as opposed to 2 double beds. And while it was clean, it's clearly an older facility, with cracking paint and wall paper, semi-clean bathrooms, and a smell […] we couldn't escape. Motel and room had a very musty odor, after several long sprays of febreeze air freshener the room was better. There was no maid service provided, I will admit it was Thanksgiving morning but it was expected as we weren't advised it wouldn't be available.

Expectations were not super high because it is cheap. But wow, where to start. Had an outside sliding door access with a security bar that had been destroyed - in addition to no inside latch security for the inside hallway door. The whole place, and room, is moldy and my sinus went wild - that's before I turned on the heater which put out a stench like […] a dead dog for first 5 minutes. We spent one night in this hotel during the World's Greatest Yard Slae of 2011. The lobby had a very unpleasant odor to it. It looked clean, & I had no fault with the room at all. However, I asked for towels for the pool & was told that I would have to wait as there was no one to watch the desk for him if he left to get them & then he said instead of […] him bringing them to my room as 1st stated, I would have to check back later. When I checked back, he still had not got my towels but said it didn't matter as the pool was now closed. I asked for an extra blanket & was told the same thing as before, no one was there to watch the desk so he could not go get me one. The ice machine was broken & we had to get ice from a cooler in the lobby which was handled by each guest & was very unsanitary way to handle the situation. The staff was courteous but did not go out of their way to make our stay more pleasant. The room was nice & big, bed was comfy. But my granddaughter hates air conditioning & I love it so no extra blanket made us both have a bad sleep night. The breakfast could have definitely been better. It was a decent price but we stayed out 1st night in an Days Inn in TN & it was cheaper AND the staff went out of their way to get me towels & a blanket AND they delivered them to my room. With a smile. So, being the same kind of hotel, you would hope for uniform service but not the case. I would probably stay there again, if I could not find anywhere else, but I will pack my own extra towels in order to get to swim & I will bring my own extra blanket because I could not count on the staff to provide those items for me. My granddaughter LOVES to swim & was most disappointed she couldn't because we could not get towels to do so. Read more
