The staff were very friendly and courteous. Good location for shopping as well as for lovers of art. All major fashion brands are represented in the neighbourhood. The hotel appeared old from the outside but it is sparkling clean inside.

We liked the hotel and would stay there again. Staff was accommodating and helpful during our stay. Hotel and rooms were clean. Rooms were spacious. The room options are confusing. We reserved 3 standard rooms, one of them had a kitchen for the same price but no silverware/china/pots. We did not spend Euro 15 for breakfast there. A butcher and baker are in walking distance and serve breakfast there too. Several restaurants nearby. Commuter rail to Duesseldorf not too far away.

The hotel has rooms in several buildings in the area. That means that you will not necesseraly get a room at the building with the reception an breakfast rest/café. The room we got was surprisingly big. Dont expect 5 star room, but with the great location I would stay at this hotel again.

It's a good price for staying overnight near DUS international airport when you have a really early flight next day morning. Hotel is not really close... to the airport, but it has a shuttle bus that is running between the hotel and the airport from very early in the morning until 11pm. Taking the shuttle bus is 6 Euro per person/one way. Breakfast buffet is great, very fresh, very delicious (16 Euro/Person). Hotel room is very clean, comfortable and quiet. Regardless of the name of hotel, the location is far from DUS airport. It took 15 minutes from the airport to this hotel by shuttle van after waiting at the meeting point more than 20 minutes. Room was OK.

Reception desk was excellent. Room was adequate for a certain price, but a bit down-at-the-heels. Disappointing for a Mercure. It is in the middle of nowhere, so don't imagine you can walk to anything. Should definitely not be called "Dusseldorf" and even Dusseldorf Airport is a bit of a stretch.

The name suggests it is at the airport, in fact it is 12km away. They do have a shuttle bus but you need to go to the car hire desk who will order it for you and it costs 12 euro!

Abzüge in der "B"-Note: Etwas in die Jahre gekommen das Hotel. Plattenbaucharme von außen. Innen: Die Gemeinschaftsräume schön und gepflegt, auf dem Zimmer gab es das eine oder andere was nicht […] mehr passte. Kleine Dellen/Löcher in der Plastikbadewanne und Rost (Ablauf), ein ABlauf der nicht verschließbar war. An manchen Stellen auch etwas Dreck (Handtuchstange unter Waschbecken). Alter Fernseher (unscharfes Bild). Kleinigkeiten, die sich summieren und den ersten echt positven Eindruck stören. Entsetzlich: Frühstückspreise von 16 Euro pro Person und Tag. The room furnitures ware old the hotel is far a way from any shopping or activities, the prince is for 4 stars but the services and rooms ware 2 stars, the staff was not friendly... Please take my advice, do not choose it ...

bei der Buchung wurde ein Raucherzimmer und Queen-Bett bestellt und auch die Buchung so bestätigt. Als ich die Zimmertür öffnete waren da 2 getrennte Betten und kein Raucherzimmer. Dieses reklamierte ich sofort und man gab mir an der Rezeption ein anderes Zimmer und entschuldigte sich mit den Worten aber Raucherzimmer haben wir in diesem Hotel nicht […] mehr. Dort wo die Minibar sein sollte gähnte ein leeres Fach. Auch ist das Frühstück mit 16.00 € pro Person extra ein Lacher. Es gibt Hotels die eine Riesenauswahl für die Hälfte des Preises anbieten. Der Lärm der durch die nahe gelegene Autobahn nur mit verschlossenen Fenstern zu ertragen ist, ist nicht gerade ein Plus für dieses Hotel. Die Höflichkeit und Freundlichkeit des Personals ist ausgezeichnet. Im Ganzen würde ich dieses Hotel keinem empfehlen der mal ausspannen möchte. Read more

Mir hat es nicht gut gefallen, es lag eine Tüte mit leeren Bierflaschen im Schrank. Die Einrichtung ist schon in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Hotel liegt zwar nicht zentral, aber gut erreichbar und in der Nähe des Airports Düsseldorf. Einfach, aber zum rinen Übernachten völlig ausreichend ausgestattete Zimmer, nur leider keine Minibar (was besonders ärgerlich ist, wenn man wie ich spätabends anreist). Aber alles sehr sauber. und das ist vielleicht wichtiger. Nervig ist es aber, wenn ein derartiges […] Hotel im Zimmer nur kostenpflichtiges WLAN anbietet.
