The hotel was basically clean, though somewhat outdated. The big problem is that the hotel had booked some sort of reunion, and the people staying on my floor were up all night in the hallways. I got no sleep. I called twice to the front desk and even threatened calling the Police. The hotel did nothing. There is clearly no management. A lot of money for a sleepless night. Beware.

My wife and I live in Binghamton, NY and attend the Buffalo Sabre hockey games. Check in the last two weekend were a serious problem. The hotel caters to sports teams of all ages but the college teams are the problem. Check out is noon and check in is 3 pm. Last weekend (as well as the weekend before) the lobby was full of incoming guest that could not check in. The college teams at the hotel seem to set their own 'rules'. Check in staff told me they don't leave on time and the late check out charge doesn't bother them. Last weekend we were able to check in at 4:15 and given a room on the 5th floor. Most of the rooms still had college teams checked in. Our room smelled of 'Pot' and had to be aired out. Front desk said that couldn't be because two college swimmers just checked out!!! Front desk also told us the teams were checking out and by the time we returned from the hockey game they would be gone. After returning at 10 pm we could tell they were still checked in but it was quiet. All hell broke out at midnight and lasted until 2 am. Management did their best to control. At 4 am it began again as the guys were leaving the girls rooms. We complained at check out and was given free parking, thank you very much. P.S. We are not old complaining people, we are both college graduates who respect the rights of others.

Room was not ready, arrived 15 minutes before check in and was told to come back. Came back 1 hour later and they did not have the room i requested ( 2 dbl beds) 1/2 hour later the room was ready. Room was clean however it was obviously a smoking room (smelled like an ash tray)and I reserved a non smoking room. Other than that good price for a good hotel.

First of all, thanks for the great rate. We had six children with us, who ALL totally enjoyed the pool, which was very clean and convenient to our room. The rooms were not as clean as they should have been. My daughter-in-law found a pubic hair in the bathtub. The comforters were "stale" and really needed to be cleaned. The people across the hall apparently had room service, and they placed their trays outside of our rooms on the floor. They were still there the next morning, and they were placed there EARLY in the evening. I get the feeling that Adams Mark is working with a skeleton crew (maybe because of the economy). The staff were all very friendly. We stayed there last year with no complaints. The hotel clearly declined from last year to this. I would still recommend it, but I hope the declination doesn't continue because I wouldn't stay there again if the same feeling of declination goes on.

This hotel was very easy to access from the highway coming into town from both the north and the south. the room (especially the bathroom) lacked cleanliness and also garbages. The cleaning staff knocked hours before check out, and then every hour thereafter, disrupting our sleep. The front desk lady was extremely rude and chewed out another employee in front of us.

The meeting and ballrooms were all in pretty good shape, but after you left this area peeling wallpaper, water stained ceiling, and stained carpets were the norm. We checked in relatively smoothly (I never can understand why it takes so long when you have a reservation), but starting then our experience went downhill. Our electronic key did not open our room door. Went back to the check in desk and they said they had to call security to check it out. 1.5 hours and three phone calls later security showed up to find out that it was a broken lock. I think the only reason he did come when he did was I enlisted the help of housekeeping (she was concerned that my lurking in the hall meant I was trying to break in). Security was not able to help & required yet another call to maintenance who had to round up a replacement lock. It only took the maintenance guy 10 min to resolve our problem. Now I don't have any problem with issues like this cropping up, but the right thing would have been to put us in a different room and then have security & maintenance resolve the problem. The only person who appologized for our inconvenience was the maintenance guy. Several other people in our party experienced problems with the locks, so ours was not an isolated experience. Very disappointing.

Visited on business and found it to be really dated and in need of refurbishment. You got the feeling this was a happening place in 1985 but they hadn't really touched it since. Examples - musty smell in the hallways, a workout room without two random pieces of strength training equipment and old, broken down cardio machines, really slow internet connection, old fixtures/carpet/decor, etc. I've been to Buffalo a few times recently and unfortunately the options aren't very much better elsewhere. They are in dire need of a mid-upper tier hotel chain in that town. Best best is trying to find a place that's been built in the last 5 years (likely by the airport) - while it won't be plush it will at least feel clean and up to date.
