Good staff. Hotel is in a residential area right on lake. The bus stops right outside of the hotel and runs about every 15 minutes. If you take the train, get off at Lucerne not the little town that is closer to the hotel as finding the bus from the train stop is difficult from there but very easy from Lucerne's train station. The very short cab ride […] was about $28USD The room's have radiant floor heat which must respond very slowly because our room only warmed up during the evening. Maybe there is a master control somewhere? The lake view is beautiful. The breakfast staff is very attentive but do know that when the breakfast time is over - there is no lingering to sip on coffee. Only improvement I would suggest is for them to either provide larger towels or more than 2 per room. Also shampoo and conditioner would be nice. Oh! and our bed was very firm with a bit of a spring in my back. I asked for another feather comforter to sleep on and then the bed was quite comfortable. My husband and I stayed here for two nights and had a great time. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The location of the hotel is very convenient. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel and it takes about 12-15 minutes to get to the train station by bus. You would also need to get off at the train station in order to walk to The […] city (old town and new town). The hotel has a restaurant with a terrace with a breath taking view of Lake Luzern. Our jaws literally dropped when we walked to the terrace. Free breakfast buffet at the restaurant was the icing on the cake! I used room service once (ordered a cup of tea) which ended up free. Internet is free in the lobby and costs 5 franks in the room for the entire stay. I will definitely stay at this hotel if we go back to Luzern. Read more

I would highly reccommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, friendly, beautiful place to stay...if you are looking for large scale hotel with all kinds of services and amenities this is not for you...but I would not trade a big gym and lobby for this place EVER. The rooms are very nicely and modernly furnished ..bathroom small but non issue for us. Doors open to balconies and allow constant view and fresh air. Ask for lake view..and farther away from restaurant if you want total peace as some noise from patio below during dining hours (not much). There seemed to be air conditioning controls but no vents so that seemed odd but since we never needed it we did not investigate it. A short drive to Lucerne, but a little resort away from the noise (or free bus or steamer stops at hotel). We enjoyed our balcony overlooking Lake Lucerne. Meals were good, service so pleasant. Easy parking, internet were appreciated. Guests were young to old, enjoyable for all.

We got a good deal in the off season for this place so for the price paid it was great. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are big, comfortable, modern and clean. We got a lake facing room which had amazing views. The room had a bath tub, huge tv with cable, comfy bed. Only negatives were that the breakfast wasn't great (rolls and bread, […] jams, some yoghurt and cereals, eggs on request), there was no tea or coffee making facilities, the restaurant on site was very expensive and it was a little way from the town so can be a hassle to get dinner after a long day. The hotel is very nice. Freindly staff, unbeleivable location & view. I would recommend it for the calm stay on the lac cost. The bus #21 connects the hotel to the Luzern railway station, but take into attention that it goes onle once an hour on Sundays

Las vistas ddel hotel son fantásticas. Si la habitación no tiene vistas, existe la terraza donde se desayuna que dá al lago, es precioso. No es céntrico pero el hotel está genial y vale la pena levantarse con vistas al lago.
