We stayed at the hotel for our wedding anniversary. Our first impression was that the decorum was slightly outdated and a little more desert southwest rather than inter mountain west. Beyond that initial irony that everything west of the Mississippi must be the desert southwest to apparently many, we had nothing but excellent impressions of the hotel. […] It was very clean and comfortable. We slept very well and the double headed shower in our suite was fantastic. We would stay here again and will recommend it to friends making the trek to Ketchum. Read more

The hotel is located close to all the Ketchum attractions. The rooms are nicely appointed and very spacious. We even had a full kitchen! Bathroom was very clean. Carpets were well vacumed. All surfaces were clean and unmarked. The florescent tube in the bathroom went bad on our last night and wasn't replaced until the next day. Front desk assistance […] was fine with creative dining suggestions and easy directions for rental of bikes and the such. Only real complaint was a smell which eminated from the elevator ( lubricating oil they said) which was bothersome. Read more

We stayed in room 310. The room was very clean and appropriately decorated. Easy walk to everything. I rated comfort of the room based on two items; the "making" of the bed and the shower head. The bed felt as though it had been short sheeted, I have no idea why the sheets were tucked into the bed so low and so tight. Had to get out of bed and yank […] the sheets out all around. The shower head pretty much drizzled a light rain or when adjusted felt like a high pressure nozzle. Otherwise a good hotel. BTW, I am only 5"2 and the sheets came just above my waist. Read more

The bus-stop for River Run (Gondolas) is just on the other side of the street. There is an upscale Food Market next door. The restaurants and bars are all within 5mn walking distance! The staff and owners are friendly, the rooms are spotless. It's not a luxurious hotel but everything works well, there is a kitchenette in the room. Maybe in Summer you […] should ask for a room in the back (not on Main St) because it could get noisy on Main if you sleep with the window open and the afternoon sun warms the room. We stayed 4 nights for a ski vacation. It was our first time in Sun Valley and the staff was so helpful with information and advice. Elizabeth, at the front desk recommended restaurants each night that were superb! The location of the hotel was so convenient. We caught the free bus each morning right across the street which took us to the base of Baldy […] and the gondola. It took less than 5 minutes. Each evening we walked a couple blocks to Ketchum's popular bars and restuarants. The room had views of Baldy, and were clean and comfortable. Can't wait to return. Read more

We stayed here over the President's Day weekend in 2012 to ski at Sun Valley Resort. We loved the lodge style room! It was so fitting in the mountain environment, with its western/southwestern decor. The bed was very, very comfortable. We loved the fireplace in the room, having a kitchen area in the room, and having the TV remote in a sanitized bag […] is a nice touch. The hot tub was big enough for 6 - 8 people, and very welcoming after a day of skiing at Sun Valley. The staff were some of the friendliest and nicest people I have ever seen, especially the evening/night front desk person, Elizabeth, who answered so many questions for us with a smile and truly a "happy to be of service" attitude, that I jokingly told her we were starting to think of her as a member of the family. Everything in central Ketchum is within walking distance of the Kentwood Lodge. Our room was clean and spacious, and the king bed was very comfortable. We plan to stay there again.

Spent a night at the Best Western Kentwood. It was clean and comfortable -- didn't use the facilities. Their TVs are programmed so that they can't get too loud, which is a nice feature I think. Had a nice dinner at the Pioneer restaurant just up the street. The room doesn't include any DVD player, but if you want, you can rent a DVD deck from a local […] merchant ($5 for 2 nights!) and watch movies. Read more

You are so close to everything, that you can walk to it. Rooms are quite large in size, and although they are not real fancy, it is more that adequate, and the beds are very, very comfortable with high quality sheets and pillows and a large bathroom.

This hotel is only blocks from all the food and action in Ketchum. So glad I did not stay at the resort. Was great to be able to walk everywhere. The room was big, had microwave, fridge, extra sink and fireplace. Big huge bed too. Very good condition too.

Everything was great. It was nice, well-kept, clean, convenient. Nice clean pool and hot tub. Good internet access and sitting area in the lobby. Helpful staff. Good parking. I have stayed at the resort and enjoyed staying in Ketchum better with a family, even though I had to drive to my meetings. You could walk to breakfast and shop easily.

The pictures really does not do this hotel justice. The decor is so cheesy, but if you can look past that the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Great location on main street. Short walk to shops and restaurants.

Only thing that would be nice is a breakfast area. They do give 10% to the next door facility called The Wrap, but all the food is wrapped, as per their name.
