I stayed at this Howard Johnson for 7 nights this past week. The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. They have done a great job of remodeling the rooms..and I know they are still working on it! I would stay there again. Thanks!

I have stayed in many motels in Eugene but you will not find a better value then this one. The staff is very friendly, the internet works great, location is prime, room is very much like a very nice living room with refrigerator, microwave, great heating system. My room was spotless and my overall stay felt very much like home. The previous ratings are incorrect. This is the best place to stay.

"Marginal quality"

Very convienent to highway, but "strip mally" neighborhood. Nice helpful staff and clean rooms. Room size adiquite, good beds and pillows but floors and walls a bit thin (heard the friendly dog up stairs wagging his tail against the floor at midnight (and yes I'm sure it was a dog...)). "Reasonably priced Motel"
There is no individual air conditioning units in the rooms. Some kind of central air only in rooms, but can not keep up with the 90 plus degree temps in summertime Missoula, MT. Glad I brought a fan. Our stay was very comfortable and the clerk at checkin was very helpful. We would use this motel again. Immediately off of freeway. Missed it the first time. The sign is a bit behind another sign. My passenger saw it right away. Hot tub is nice, but it is basically a big bathtub. Bubbles were few. This is the first time I have stayed at an Econo Lodge, and honestly was a bit concerned. I have to say though the my experience was very nice. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable (and I never think beds in hotels are comftortable) The rooms were a bit small, but not bad for the price. Since I just stayed the night, I don't have much to say about the Econo Lodge ecept for it was very decent lodging for the evening. The check-in was fast and friendly. I believe Chase checked us in. The room was OK. It was clean, the sheets were fresh, and the bed was perfect. The breakfast wasn't much to brag about. There was some cereal, coffee, fruit, […] and donuts. "It was close to the freeway"
Made the reservation a few days ahead of time. The girlfriend and I made a long motorcycle trip and this was the last hotel of the trip. The one requirement I was looking for was the hot tub! The last two hundred miles on the bike was very rough. Anxious to soak upon arrival, my girlfriend was almost in tears to see the out of order sign on the hot […] tub. "Stinks like cigarette smoke"
After checking reviews by other Hotels.com guests at this hotel, I felt like it might be a good compromise of value and comfort. After staying one night, I would never recommend this property to anyone. We stayed on the third floor. The hallways and elevator stunk terribly of stale cigarette smoke. Thankfully the room itself did not. The hotel is older […] and has not been very well maintained. The room was clean but the beds are uncomfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was cheerful and friendly. The hot tub was out of service due to a pump failure, but I don't think that I'd be very interested in it anyway. The most disappointing factor was that In the morning, there wasn't enough hot water for everyone so both my girlfriend and I endured cold showers. The hotel shares a parking lot with a restaurant/bar/liquor store/casino so if you must stay here make sure to have a few before bedtime. My advice? Spend a few extra dollars and stay somewhere else. The amenity that was sadly lacking was air conditioning! It was hot & stuffy when we arrived, and even putting the fan on high for circulation thru the night was pretty pitiful. It was like the air flow was restricted-so it was more like "low". We even had the window wide open (with drapes closed) to help, but then the noise/traffic woke us up at 6 […] am. For those who want a place to stay after a late flight into Missoula or before an early flight out, this is an economical place to stay. Our room was clean and quiet, and breakfast was available. "Stayed two consecutive weekends"
My wife and I stayed at this motel on both the night of June 18 and then again on June 25. First night was pleasant enough, only had one interruption when a pizza delivery guy pounded on our door at 11:20 PM, he was one floor off on the delivery, not the hotels fault. Other than that, a nice quiet stay while travelling. Second stay we we checked into […] an already occupied room, fortunately, no one was in the room when we entered. front desk then gave us an empty room, but it reeked of tobacco smoke, even though it was listed as non-smoking.
