"Don't stay here if you have allergies!"
The first floor of the hotel is for smokers and dogs. Unfortunately, this is where they placed me, a non-smoker, who has allergies. The hotel smelled of cigarettes in the hallway and there was animal fur all over the room - on the carpets, on the bed spread, and in the sheets. I had an allergic reaction in the room, and had to be removed. The hotel […] staff moved me to another room, but they blamed me and hotels.com for not knowing the room was for dogs. At the time of check-in, I was informed that I was the only person checking in that evening, so there's absolutely no reason why I should be placed in a room like that when the entire hotel was open. I would never stay here again, and I wouldn't encourage others to do so ESPECIALLY if you have any sort of allergies or sensitivity to sleeping in smoke and animal hair. "If you love the 1940's this is your hotel."
I felt like I was back in the 1940's. The bed covers, molding around the walls, etc. seemed like they were the originals from when the hotel first opened.Genuine Expedia guest review
Price was a bit high for the quality. I travel throughout the west and found these prices about $10 - $15 over comparable hotels. My Non-Smoking room smelled like it was a prior smoking room. Two guys working the front and one had poor customer service.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A Nice Surprise"
Never having stayed at an Econolodge, this was way beyond what I expected. We rolled in at 3 am and were greeted cheerfully. The room was well appointed though not upscale. All the necessities were there to make our stay pleasant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was helpful in giving suggestions of where to eat and a location of a store we needed. THere is a really good irish restaurant near the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We signed up for a room with 2 queens but because of our pet were put in a room with one full size and one hide-a-bed with no pillows.Genuine Expedia guest review

"great for a night's stay"
comfortable and clean and really nice desk staff. I couldn't get my room cold enough but that's okay..it was in the 40's outside so the a/c probably wouldn't come on. The hallways and common rooms were very warm. Great deal for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stayed 4 nights"
The bed was lumpy and sagged to the middle. The room did not have frig or microwave. I knew this when I rented the room but it would be nice if the hotel added those to the rooms. The breakfast room had nothing but bread products to eat no fruit or yogurt. The hotel was quiet even though it was full.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Worked great for us"
It was quick on a long trip and this hotel was fine. The staff was nice and I appreciated that.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel isn't the greatest and its not the worst. The best was comfortable and the shower was clean. What more could you ask for an 8 hour stay! Oh the cleaning lady was so nice. As I was checking out the cleaning lady started cleaning my room but I guess forgot a t-shirt. She was nice enough to track me down to get it back to me. That's service enough […] for me to stay here again! A+ to her! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Decent hotel for passing through Missoula"
This hotel was a good value for one night in Missoula. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, good restaurants nearby. We ate at the Montana Club, within walking distance, and had an excellent dinner. The continental breakfast was kind of pathetic.Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to Cracker Barrel!"
We had to do a 2000 mile - each way - trip from the west side of Washington State to the east side of Wisconson -- in 10 nights. Two nights, each way, in value motels, close to I-94; since all we were going to do was sleep... Of the four different nights, with four different vendors, this property was the BEST!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel close to I 90"
We arrived very late and the gentleman working was VERY nice and extremely helpful with questions/wake up call/and even a toothbrush for me and my husband! Very pleased with the customer serviceGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to the freeway"
This is the third time we have stayed here, so overall we are happy with the hotel. We were disappointed to find out the hot tub was closed without any warning ahead of time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was everything that any person or person would need and want. Easy to find, clean room and comfortable beds. nice tv but poor pillows. Need firmer pillows for my taste!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good motel for the traveller"
They provided us with a refrigerator at our request, and let us use the microwave in the lobby. We were disappointed that the hot tub was out of service, but otherwise everything was okay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was very nice and clean. I like that it is easily accessed from the freeway.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok for a crash pad"
Breakfast didn't have any protein on the menu, so I skipped it. The pool area was shut down indefinately, so I heard about that from the kids. Extra 20 bucks per night would have been worth it.Genuine Expedia guest review
"cheap and clean"
clean room, Continental Breakfast. Pretty Much What I Expected For 80 bucksGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good price,clean hotel"
The front desk was exceptional. the young man that checked us in was very polite and helpful. The reservations were handled correctly and the room was clean. The only problem we had was with the noise from the other guests. Kids were running up and down the hall sounding like a herd of elephants. The rooms are not very sound proof.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was conveniently located at the intersection of the highways I was traveling on. Both gas stations and restaurants are close by. The desk clerk was friendly and very helpful. Didn't try the breakfast offered and the mattress was a wee bit too hard for my liking. "Good value for money"
We booked this hotel at the last moment on our way to Yellowstone national park. This was the cheapest available in the area, so we did not have great expectations. However, when we arrived, we really liked the facilities. It is a great deal for your money. We stayed there just for a night. It was nice experience. The rooms were clean and breakfast […] was nice. "Great place to stay!"
The staff was so nice, the rooms very clean, great free breakfast (best coffee ever Boyds) and the price was just right. It is so easy on and off the freeway, easy gas up and on your way! Will stay every time I am in Missoula. Thanks GaleGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"older but clean and comfortable"
I really enjoyed the bed, a great night sleep after driving all day. The room was clean, the shower was hot, and the bed was super cozy. I did not enjoy the age of the hotel, the dated bathroom and bedding. Yuck. But the staff were great, the sleep was quiet and deep and location was perfect.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not fancy, but pleasant"
More than expected for a 2 star budget motel. Quiet, clean room, good service at desk, free coffee or tea in lobby 24 hours. No pool, but they do have a hot tub off the lobby. Amenities in room include coffee maker (not tea), iron, hair dryer, wi-fi, TV. The breakfast was unimaginative--bread, cereal, donuts (no muffins), juice, and fruit cups (pre-packaged […] and apparently not refrigerated). Walking distance to several nice restaurants. All in all, very satisfied for what was the lowest priced, available room in Missoula on that night. For anyone interested, they do allow pets. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice place right off interstate"
very convenient - right off interstate with a gas station and restaurant close by. Didn't eat breakfast - donuts and cold cereal available. Coffee was terrible. Bed was fine. Clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"OK for price"
Rooms need updating - mattresses were hard - ice machine missing from third floor - however, conveniently located right off freeway.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
for a two star it was excellent, and staff was very friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was old smelling but sat back far enough from the interstate that it was a quiet place. Desk clerk was very helpful and nice. Short stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Liked the Eco-Friendly Touches"
I was impressed with the Eco shower head and the Eco air machine. Service was good and the desk clerk was very well informed about college basketball. He gave me an update every night after I got off work. I skipped the breakfast bar except for a cup of coffee. It was all carbs. No fresh fruit. Nothing much to brag about there, but overall it is a very […] nice hotel for the price. You won't go wrong unless you're looking for a fabulous breakfast buffet. "Above and beyond"
The hotel itself was pretty average. Room was clean and hotel was in decent shape. We checked in very late (after 11) and while the clerk was telling us about the continental breakfast at 6 we commented that we would be hitting the road at 4, so no free breakfast for us. Well, when we hit the lobby to checkout, the clerk had fresh coffee brewing and […] had already stocked the breakfast bar just for us!! "Great hotel for the money"
This is an older hotel and doesn't appear to have been remodeled in a number of years but it's kept up very well. The housekeepers do an excellent job and even though the rooms are feeling a bit like the 90's they are very well maintained. i was extremely happy with my room and would not hesitate for a second to stay at this hotel again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Medical reasons for staying"
I had a 76 year old mother who could not walk very well. I asked for a first floor set of rooms that were adjoining. I ended up on second floor more than half-way down the hall. After my mother had her procedure on Thursday Nov 8, she could barely walk. It was so far away from the front door. It was a struggle. The Econolodge was listed on the St Patrick's […] Hospital hotel places to stay with a discount for families dealing with medical procedures. I just don't feel our accomodations were considered. "Good value but hard to get to U of M campus"
Room was a little small but immaculate and in good repair; comfortable furnishings; we had a nice hot shower even tho we got up a little later on Sunday. I have alot of perfume / cleaning product allergies and happy to report that i had no trouble here. Nice people; but we were told it would be "no problem" to get a bus or a shuttle to U of M for the […] game and that turned out not to be the case... it was a $30 taxi ride away. Our stay was about as good as any so far on this trip. We did forget to ask about amenities before reserving, and were surprised there was no refrigerator or microwave in our room, (on the third floor, which was o.k., with the elevator) & the ice machine was on the first floor.
