This is the second time we have stayed at the Hampton and we will stay here again. The staff is freindly and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is close to downtown Lewisburg and to several chain restaurants for less expensive meals.

I was a little leery of this hotel based on a few negative reviews, but we had a great experience and I have no complaints overall. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was awesome. There was a big Pony Club competition going on this week-end and I was a little concerned when I saw a lot of little girls running […] around, but if they were noisy we sure did not hear them. I wish the air conditioning unit had a continuous fan, as that was a bit distracting at night, but we ran the fan in the bathroom and that served as good white noise to help us sleep. The traffic outside could be noisy at times, but that is not the hotel's fault, so I would not say it is an issue with the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a family visit. The pool and hot top were dirty, the water was murky, there was gobs of hair in many places around the pool and pool drains. The room was nice, but the metal ring in the base of our bathroom sink was broken, and the bathtub had a huge hole repair on the side wall that made it look horrible. The breakfast room was super small for any hotel of that size, […] people were standing and eating because there were no seats, and everyone was bumping into each other...a hazard. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The staff was helpful. The room was reasonably clean. However, there were large stains on the carpet and the beds were the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in. Both adult guests woke up with severe back pain that is still not gone after 24+ hours.

I travel about 30 times a year and have never asked to change rooms in a hotel. In this hotel, we asked to change rooms 3 times in one night. Every room was awful and had this terrible mildew smell. Everything felt damp in the rooms. In the second room the TV didn't work. When I paid for room with hotels.com I thought I was paying for a two qeen beds with guest room none smoking. When I got there they sent to a room with two beds no guest room. I went back to the manager with my comfirmation and he said I had only paid for a single room not a suite. Your description says guest room with couch and they do not consider […] that a suite. I managed to get one after considerable discussion but still the hotel is not white as is pictured and is old and smells but room was comfortable with one wash cloth. I was asked to move my vehicle so they could seal the parking lot but it never got done.. Holiday express looked much nicer across from it. I wish I had of chose that one. Read more

The beds were comfortable and the staff very helpful. We were there during the recent storms and our air conditioner broke down. The staff moved us as soon as possible to the same type of room with a working air conditioner. The breakfast was a good value as we have two teenaged boys!

The location was easy to get in and out of and there were a few choices for dining options if you do not want to drive into the historic area of Lexington. It's not situated right next to the interstate so it was quiet in the room. The first room was infested with stink bugs. When I called the front desk, they told me to just get them with a tissue and flush them! They said they had a "barrier" for bugs, but they still get in the windows somewhere because of the cold! I said that we would like to change rooms.
