First the hotel is under renovation, so no elevator. The first room they gave us was not what we book and reserve, and also the AC unit was not working. Then they gave us a room at the 6 floor with out any elevator that is lots of flight of stair. When ask for more towel at the front lobby they said they will send some up but never did. Turn out I needed to call them and it took almost 45min for them to bring some towel

We arrived at 1pm, told us we were to early. We knew we were but also knew that we wouldn't be able to check in until after 6pm. Didn't matter come back at 6,took for ever to check in. One of the four rooms still not ready, and at this point ( not at 1pm check in ) they informed us there is no elevator or A/C working) It's only 35° outside! !! Funny how they didn't say this at 1 when we had time to look for another hotel.We had to leave at 7pm for business ( still 4th room not ready )came back at midnight ( have had 4 different front desk people by this time. ) STILL WAITING FOR OUR 4TH ROOM TO BE READY!!!!So..2 extra people in my room at 12: 30 waiting for their room! Finally they phone, room is ready. IT WAS HORRIBLE BED LOOKED LIKE THEY HAD JUST THROWN THE SHEETS BACK FROM THE PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS, BATHROOM DIRTY, VERY UN HAPPY!!! THEY TRIED TO CONSOLE US WITH FREE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST ( WHICH WAS LESS THAN PAR) SORRY BEST WESTERN...YOU LOSE. ..NEVER AGAIN!

The hotel is in need of major renovation, leeks dripping into buckets in the middle of the hall way, the jacuzzi had an out of order sign on it, the A/C was not working.

Room was ackward having most of the contents removed, half the room just a huge empty space. Elevator worked but always seemed like it wanted to quit. Lounge closed at around 10 pm. But was confortable for a nights sleep.

The room had a small window which opened to a roof with no screen and was filthy and on the roof were 4 empty beer bottles.the air conditioner was blowing room temperature air not cold. The room was very hot we were offered another room they said it would take half an hour to clean, well after the half hour passed we left and went to the hamptons by Hilton . Needless to say we will always stay at the Hilton!

They have done a lot of work to this hotel and it looks great inside. Service was great but one night our AC stopped working so we called the front desk at 1030 and said they'd send someone up. 45 minutes went by and still no one came so we had to call again and someone came right away. Other than that it was a great hotel and great experience. I would definitely stay there again.

First morning upon getting up (5th floor) I found out the elevator was out of order. Second we called to request extra pillows and left a message. No one called back & we never did get the pillows. At check out I asked about a discount due to the elevator being out of order. They said no because I booked through hotels.com. Needless to say I will not go back to that hotel again. The air conditioner did not work well at all. The room was very hot all night, which made for a very rough sleep. The bed was not very uncomfortable. I could feel every move he made. Otherwise everything was fine.

Property is close by shopping and restaurants but you should have s vehicle. Older building furniture needs updating. Problem with air conditioner but staff took great care of us to find a replacement room. I applaud them.

Comfortable, convenient, clean and quiet. Exit door closest to room for parking lot was not working for scan entry making a long walk to room with luggage. Got immediate assistance with safe with maintenance staff coming to room.

I had done the booking and asked for a adjoining room or two rooms closed to each other. They gave me two room both on different floors. The coffee machine was dirty asked twice to clean them they never did.

We are a family of 4 on a road trip through Alberta. We stayed here for it's proximity to the West Ed mall. The discount for the mall attractions was nice. The beds were very comfy. We were a little disappointed however in the lack of amenities compared to other Best Western plus's that we've stayed in. The pool was small with no hot tub. It had an awkward entrance right off the lobby with no showers. When my family was in there, there were no clean pool towels and even though my husband asked once, they weren't brought. I had to ask a second time. The $8.45 breakfast vouchers were a bit of a joke because most things on the breakfast menu are only $8.95 anyways. That's a whole 50 cent savings! And we were told to buy the vouchers for our children so we did but items in the children's menu are only 5 or 6 dollars! So how is that a savings? Most Best Westerns offer a FREE breakfast. Room was standard but a little hot and the AC was noisy. Made it hard to sleep. Staff was friendly and the waiter in the restaurant was very nice and funny. We will probably go to another hotel though, next time in town.

We stayed one night and first impressions were great. The lobby was nice and it was clean, the staff was very friendly, great pool hours. The room was nice and clean as well but awkward setup. The desk was too close to the bed so we couldn't use it as you couldn't get the chair beside the desk in front of the desk. The TV faced the window (it was not situated in front of the couch or the bed) so you watched tv from a 90* angle. Checking out was a breeze and again friendly staff

A little dated on the outside, the lobby and check in area was nice. The hallways were very dated, but the room was newer. Clean, warm, dry, etc. The pool was nice, if not a little chilly, but good for a wake-up swim. The neighborhood is industrial, but that's not the hotels fault. The elevator broke the last night we stayed there, and some of the pop machines were down as well. Good place to stay overall. I'll be back.

it was okay. I wasn't so excited about it. I choose because it was little closer to the west Ed mall. But didn't think that it would be in kind of industrial area. There wasn't much resturant places around. And after 10pm it was pretty much dead. Overall out of 10 I will give 2 to 3 and also I don't think that I will go back to the same place again if I would have any other choices.

The overall appearance was good however there was food under our bed (not our food!), we had to call for our cot three times and finally got it at midnight, they never left us coffee or hand towels after cleaning our room the second day and the neighbours room service sat outside the room for two days before getting picked up. I won't be staying there again.

I booked 2 rooms on April 4th for one night it was room 1112 and the other one was across the hall and We will never stay there again . It is far from being a Best Western Plus ,The rooms were dirty especially the bathtub it was gross . The rooms were on the main floor and they need to be upgraded badly. The bed skirts were ripped , the chair was broken ,carpet ripped and the curtains were full of holes . We enjoy staying in Best Western Inns but our stay was very disappointing and getting any sleep was out of the question because the beds were so uncomfortable .

As I look at the ratings, I believe the hotel is much better than others are reporting. The parking is good, check-in was quick, the internet assess was good, the bed comfortable and it was all we needed. There is not much around the hotel for someone without a car, but it is very convenient to everything on the west edge of Edmonton if you have a car. This is not the first time we have stayed here, and it will not be the last.

Very nice and fast staff servicing, we love the room so comfy and the jacuzzi is so awesome for me this is a nice hotel for vacation. Really recomend this Hotel to all who like to stay on Edmonton, facility like Pool and Gyms are also in the hotel. Nice for family vacations and all other events. Good job for the staff who assist us while we're there. Can't wait to go back again in this hotel.

First room had no heat so we were moved to another room which wasn't bad but we had to move again because it was pet friendly for our dog and the room we got was terrible , paint off bathroom door, very poor lighting, toilet seat was damaged, carpet look dirty and floor in bathrm was sticky

We booked this hotel through an Expedia mystery deal and were pleasantly surprised with the outcome. Very clean and updated hotel. Very close to numerous good restaurants and west Ed. Excellent value for the money. Only downside was that they did not have a hot tub.

The staff were not friendly as they had been at other Best Western hotels which was disappointing. Elevator was so scary we ended up using the stairs for the duration of our stay. No hot tub, pillows were uncomfortable, room was dusty and the ceilings looked like they were falling down. Would not recommend this particular Best Western.

The pool was not working the whole time we were there. We spent 2 nights. A pool is one of the main reasons we chose the hotel. The first night there was no hot water at 10pm. The reason was that "maybe too many people wanted to have a hot bath at the same time"…not acceptable. The ice machine directly across the hallway from us made awful noises all night long. The room was too hot. The curtains were not able to be drawn closed to keep out the morning light. A disappointing experience for my kids.

We stayed for four nights. For three of the mornings we had no hot water for showers. The dirty towels were taken away as was the soap, cups, coffee, sugar, creamer, face clothes and other amenities but were not replaced. The pool was roped off when we arrived and after questioning the front desk they said it was because of the ladder and the rest of the pool could still be used. When we went to use the pool, it was drained and being repaired. Not a big deal but something that should have been told to us upon arrival. Room was very warm and needs to be updated. Also, we were approached in the parking lot two times by someone wanting to sell us a home theater system out of the back of his SUV. I will say that the staff was very friendly and dealt with our problems in a satisfactory way. The hotel, while dated, was clean and the restaurant had decent food.

We called the day before to make sure rooms were in close proximity this was confirmed as we booked 2 rooms, when we arrived we had a room on the 3rd floor and one on the 6th. The front desk staff was helpful but took forever to rearrange us. The elevator was also broken in the morning so we had to take the stairs with out luggage and coolers down from the 6th floor again the staff was good they helped us with one cooler. Overall hotel is nice and clean but could take more care of customer relations.

I was in the older part . The first night I was in a room where it was rundown and things were broken . The bathroom light was a lightbulb the beds were saggy and worn out and the bathroom door had been . Broken and repaired poorly . We asked to switch rooms for the second night . The second night the room was much nicer and tolerable . My friend who switched rooms as well was unfortunate to be on the top floor with a broken elevator she uses a cane and had to hobble down many flights of stairs and ended up in terrible pain It put a damper on our trip . About the only thing going for this hotel was its 5 min from west edmonton mall and the hotel staff was very nice . I would not recommend staying here .

when I checked in the clerk was ok, I gave her my debit visa to pay for my room, which was fine then she told me I had to pay for a deposit in case damage is done to the room. I complied, she also asked me for my license plate which I don't know off hand, so I told her I will go out and get it once I settle in. the clerk WOULD NOT give me the room key unless I went back outside to get the plate number. I went outside to get the plate and when I came back in she was serving another customer so the guy took my information and said ok your all good, I then said at that point I do not have a room key as she refused to give to me unless I had the plate number.I understand maybe if I was a young person and was planning a big party or something, but I was there for training and I am a woman of 54 years all by myself. She couldn't give me the benefit of a doubt. I was quite upset by that time, if I didn't book online and hold the room I would have left the hotel and got a room somewhere else. I did not like the experience I had or the attitude of the clerk, very condescending I must say. I will never go back to that hotel or even recommend to my colleagues who use the facility. I rate 0 out of 10.

Our room was surface cleaned however the windows, window sills, carpet, and grout around the bath tub were dirty. Our air conditioner did not work and when I lifted the flap to check it out it was filthy. I had to contact guest services twice to ask them to come and check out our air conditioner and fix it before someone showed up. When finally someone came on the second day after we literally sweated it out the first night, the service person told me a fuse or connection probably wasn't working and told me the best he could do was bring me a fan. We left the window open all night and used the fan. I told the front desk about all of this when we were checking out the next day, and they said, "oh, ok, we will look into this."

A sleepover in Edmonton for a late night flight arrival, which was more than enough for me. This hotel has satisfied my need.

Hotel rated as 3.5 star. Seems rundown. Bathroom door paint peeled off. Tub would not drain. Furniture beat up and old. Mirror hung crooked in hall. Bathroom ceiling cracked and open. Beds sag to the middle. Would not staff there again. Not impressed.
