They need to tell there prospective guests that they only have one restaurant open for lunch. It costs $30.00 for a buffet(without taxes). On Sundays it is $45.00 for brunch!!! The service was good, the food is not worth what they are charging for it. Lots of Brit"s staying and they do all-inclusive. We chose not to. While searching for a vacation spot this past winter, we ran across the Blue Waters Hotel in an online search. It looked like a lovely place, and had good reviews. Almost too good, actually. Compared to other resorts we read about, it almost seemed there were not enough negative said about this place to make us somewhat suspicious! Quiet, laid back, clean, beautiful, friendly, with some of the best ocean beach/water we have had the pleasure of visiting. The staff is very helpful with anything you want or need, and we truly had a wonderful time here! The only drawback we had was the all inclusive food. It did seem somewhat repetitive, and I was really wishing for just a plain deli sandwich for lunch by the end of our stay. Vegetables were very undercooked at dinner. This is a lovely hotel with a terrific location in calm waters on the northwest side of the island. Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, it's not easy to find but then again that's part of what makes it special--no big crowds and virtually zero street traffic make for peace and quiet. Instead of heading to the registration desk, we were handed chilled towels to cool us down and a much appreciated rum punch while our paperwork was brought to us. Akeeme gave a very thorough description of the hotel's services and features as he showed us to our rooms. We received the same level of exceptional service throughout our stay. From housekeeping to the watersports desk to the restaurant, everyone was unfailingly gracious, accommodating and eager to please. We chose the breakfast plan because we wanted to get out and experience the local fresh fish specialties that the island had to offer, and the hotel's dinner menus focus more on steak, pork and chicken. The hotel beaches were very nice, if not large, and we were often provided with complimentary sorbet and fresh fruit while catching some rays. Two uncrowded beach/pool bars made it easy to cool down with a tropical drink. We stayed in the deluxe beachfront rooms, and the view was stunning--a great way to wake up each day. This was a beautiful hotel. We picked the perfect place for a 4-night getaway. Beautiful grounds, very convenient access to pools and beach area, bars, restaurant, etc. Extremely friendly staff (such a letdown to get back to NYC with the usual rude cab driver who took us back to our apartment from the airport). Dinner was expensive, though we had been warned. We didn't leave the hotel grounds, except that I took an early morning walk with the hotel trainer to Dickenson Bay - about 5 1/2mi. Nice activity. We picked this hotel because it is everything the Sandals is not. It's quiet, clean and not crowded (at least when we visited in July). The only complaint I have is that this hotel really is if you are a non-smoker and you have allergies to the smoke or are extremely sensitive to the stench, this hotel is not for you. I have never stayed at a friendlier hotel. A beautiful secluded resort. The staff were superb - nothing too much trouble for them. Although we did have a couple of small problems during our two-week stay for our honeymoon, senior staff made it their top priority to rectify any minor issues and went above the call of duty to make it up to us so all was […] forgiven. We took full advantage of the watersports on offer as part of the hotel's all-inclusive package and think all guests should do the same - the reef near the hotel is wonderful and definitely worth a visit to do a spot of snorkelling. Our stay was for our honeymoon and we were treated to champagne and canapes in our room on arrival and a room service champagne breakfast on a morning of our choice during the stay. Both were great added benefits and made us feel like valued guests. L'hôtel Blue Waters est situé dans un site magnifique, facile d'accès, à une quinzaine de minutes en voiture de l'aéroport. Le personnel est extrêmement aimable et serviable. Nous avons vraiment apprécié. Certaines chambres sont un peu vieillottes et d'un niveau de confort plutôt inférieur au standing général de l'hôtel.
