Very good stay!
"Great price, Great Stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
I liked the breakfast selection which included fresh fruit. The room was very clean, the temp adjustment was effective, the bed was comforatble - in particular, I liked the pillows. Wide screen TV, free WIFI, the works.
"Perfectly fine"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
Competent, clean, professional -- no complaints of any kind. The location was rather bland, but that's not the fault of the hotel

"Weekend Getaway"
This was our second stay at the Bethlehem Hotel and it was just as comfortable as the first time. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Once again, we ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel's restaurant and shopped in the neighboring shops. We were there for a concert over at the 'Stacks, which we also recommend. Altogether, a very pleasant and […] relaxing weekend getaway. Read more

"Hotel Bethlehem charming"
Hotel was charming. My issues were: the hot water in the shower would not stay at constant temp. There were no kleenex in my room.
"Hotel Bethlehem: Welcoming"
Arrived exhausted after a long drive and with various irregular bags (computers) to bring in.Oh ,and it was raining. I was haled as I arrived by the doorman asking me if I needed some help. I replied in the affirmative and he came over to lift things out and then take them up to my room. He could not have been more helpful, or more prompt. The room […] was quiet, warm, quiet and well arranged––internet functioned easily and well. Everything as should be! Read more

"Lovely hotel-don't stay in the room near elevator"
The hotel was lovely and the staff was very friendly. My only 2 complains were that 1) I requested a queen room and was give 2 full beds which couldn't be changed as they were booked, 2) my non-queen room was located on the elevator wall...

"January visit"
Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Loved the historic feel. However, I was a bit annoyed with the plethora of Christmas decorations still on display. We were there on January 21...

The experience definetly was one of the hightlights of our Holiday Season. We are planning on going again next year.
"Historic Bethlehem, PA"
This is a really beautiful old hotel. It was a nice overnight for our Pittsburgh to Boston holiday travel. It was over the top for Christmas decorations for obvious reasons.
"Great- but what were they cooking?"
It would have been FANTASTIC, except for a funny smell in the lobby both mornings... were they cooking goose livers??
"Hotel Bethlehem almost perfect!"
Dining room hostesses could have been nicer and more accomodating when seating us. Were not cooperative in seating us for 7PM reservatiuons because it was 6:50 PM! Table was set - we saw it. Instead they refused to seat us until the exact minute. Waiter wasn't knowledgeable about some dishes being served.
"What a great surprise!"
Loved this hotel. Not the slickest, not the sparkliest. But character, comfort. Loved it.

This is a classy place and doing rehab on rooms bit by bit so it should be even better. The neighborhood is a fun location any time of year but especially beautiful at Christmas time. We had an issue with a mystery smoker on our floor and the management took care of it quickly. Recommended!
Thank you for sharing your recent experience at the Hotel. We are always working to improve the hotel. We are replacing all of the guest room doors with Mahogany Doors in 2012. I do apologize for the mystery smoker while you were with us. I am happy to hear that we were able to rectify the situation quickly as we are a non smoking hotel. We hope you choose to stay with us again on your next trip to Bethlehem!

Upscale Old Hotel. Sunday Brunch is fantastic. Great Resturant in the Hotel and also near the Hotel. Mama Nina's a block from the Hotel is wonderful, but go there hungry.

This is a beautiful hotel in Bethlehem with it's own special history. We enjoyed our one night stay. The check in service was excellent and they helped us with a special issue we had. My one comment was the disappointing service we recieved in their Tap Room. We saw the waiter once in 20 minutes and did not even able to order our wine. They were clearly […] understaffed for such a busy night. On the flip side we ate at the bar and the food was delicious. Read more

"Great hotel, a Historical Hotel"
The man in the registration when we arrived Oct 12, was very nice, arrived at about 9 A.M (before check in time) coming from California, and he gave us a beautiful room with a view. Thank you very much for your consideration. We will stay again when we come and visit our son at Lehigh University. Wilma
