The Bankenviertel near the main train station has the offices of many financial institutions, most of the city's hotels, and a small red light district on Taunus Strasse. The hotel is very close to the Bahnhof. However, the neighborhood is quite seedy. There are a couple of really nice restaurants in the neighborhood. The service is good, but the rooms are not very roomy. Anything resembling air conditioning is basically nonexistent.

This hotel is on a little street named Essinger which is easy to miss when coming over the bridge from B44. There are one way streets so be careful. The night auditor was very kind and remembered me from a previous stay from the beginning of the week. We had a small but comfortable 3 twin bedroom room. We did park the car in the hotel garage at about 12 euros per night, but most of the parking was taken up in the evening(they drive up onto the sidewalk). Across the street is a delicious Persian Restaurant. They speak a variety of languages. The little convenience store near the main street is a little scary in the evening. Would recommend buying water somewhere else. Unfortunately, we left early in the morning and did not get to try their breakfast which is about 15 euros per person which equated to about $22USD at the time of our stay. Wifi needs to be purchased in 1 hour increments and is around the same price. Notice that only soap is provided so you might want to bring your own shampoos/cond etc. Both Germany and France BestWesterns were that way which to us is waste and environment conscious.
