Incredibly clean room. Thoroughly modern with great bedding. Much more than I expected.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Best Western Plus ClockTower Inn We like to hear we delivered more than expected! I see you did not enjoy the one way streets and I can only say you are not alone. However, once you arrived I hope you found it easy to navigate to one of the many great restaurants or bars within walking distance. Thank you for your feedback.
Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. It is a pet friendly hotel and provided treats for our dogs. Room was ok, stained carpet spots but otherwise pretty tidy. Stella's Restuarant is close by and has pretty good food. The main draw back would be noise disturbances.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Best Western Plus ClockTower Inn Traveler, Thank you for your stay and the honest feedback. As mentioned in the response below we are in the process of replacing our carpets with carpet tiles which will allow us to replace the damaged tiles. I am also glad to see you brought your four-legged friend with you on your travels and hope you enjoyed the treats and Molly's Patch . I would like to apologize for the noise as we try very hard to ensure every guest recieves a great night's sleep and try to act upon every noise complaint in a swift manner. With our next go around for remodeling we are looking into increased soundproofing of the walls as well as an increased amount of raised electrical outlets. Once again thank you for your feedback.
"Great Location, very welcoming for pets"
I loved how they provided a welcome letter and water bowl for our dog and even some treats! They also donate part of our pet fee to a local organization for homeless animals. I thought it was great. Our room was great. The TV was really slow when changing channels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to the event we were seeing"
The Front Desk went above and beyond our expectations. They had a shuttle take us to our event and bring us back to the hotel. They even made reservations for us at the restaurant we were eating at that evening. It was the best service I have ever had! Room was very clean. I plan to stay there every time I am in Billings.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Overall A Great Stay!"
Convenient downtown location. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean! Could use new carpeting in room. Convenient breakfast and lunch spot next door. Had trouble with key to door on more than one occasion.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Best Western Plus ClockTower Inn Leigh, I would like to thank you for your honest and accurate comments. I want to let you know because of honest feedback from guests such as yourself we continue to make improvements. Some of the improvements include, but not limited to, replacing the older carpet which is below our standards with modern carpet tiles. This will allow us to maintain a great looking carpet for years to come. The other improvement is we are replacing all our door locks and keys with an RFID lock and card system. This system will allow our guests to just tough the key to the lock and it will open and will eliminate the annoying demagnitizing. Thank you again for your stay and we hope to see you again. Regards, In-House Coordinator
"Good mystery deal!"
Court arrangement does mean a outside walk to vehicle. But overall very nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Best Western Plus ClockTower Inn You are correct that a majority of our rooms are outside entrances. However, our property is unique in that we do also offer an interior corridor section as well as have half our rooms in secured 2nd and 3rd floor sections. I am really glad to hear you enjoyed your mystery deal. Regards, In-House Coordinator
"Friendly staff, located downtown"
I loved my room! I stayed at Best Western to visit Rocky Mountain College. The staff was super friendly, gave me great suggestions on where to eat., they even upgraded me to a Business King! LOVED the shower! Everything looked new or at least updated and was very clean. They also have free shuttle service (I just tipped the drivers) because the local […] taxi companies are very unreliable. They were very accommodating! They offered complimentary boutique toilettries. There are several restaurants within walking distance (just "downtown" prices). The hotels itself was a real gem! I would stay there again! "Clean, noisy, dogs."
Pros: Room was clean, TV had lots of channels. Manager nice. Staff busy but polite. If you have pets probably an ok motel to stay at. Cons: Very noisy. Could hear everything my neighbors said. Try to avoid a bottom-floor room as there doesn't seem to be any noise-dampening in the construction. Could not use gym facilities because they let dogs run […] freely through them. Spent the whole night listening to dogs using the "doggy potty" facilities due to room location. Sent back an item I left COD, without asking me my shipping preference; I got charged 4x what it should have cost to ship due to their "brilliant" choice in shipping packaging. Between this and the dogs overrunning the facilities, I will not be staying here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Response by Best Western Plus ClockTower Inn We are very sorry we did not live up to expectations as we strive to leave a positive lasting impression. You are correct in that we do have two pets behind the front desk who do occassionaly sneak into the weight room, but are ushered immediatly away so our guests can work out. We also understand that not everyone enjoys pets which is why half our hotel is a 100% pet free zone. As for the shipping we do ship everything COD because when you check out your credit information is completely erased from our system. Thank you for your honest comments as they really do help us move forward. As we renovate our rooms going forward we will be looking at sound levels and ways to dampen them.

"Needs some work"
Had a Non-Smoking room and there were cigarette burns on the carpet and the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. While on the phone in the room, housekeeping knocked on the door and before I could answer or even get up from the bed they opened the door and said they were checking to see if the room had been made up. In order to get to the room I had […] to go up the stairwell and even though the temperature was moderate the stairwell smelled of urine. Even early in the morning and late at night the smell was very overbearing. The room was real small but comfortable. Whenever the toilet was flushed or the shower was run there was this loud clicking noise that went on for a minute or two after the water was turned off. This also included the sink. Response by Best Western Plus ClockTower Inn We do not enjoy falling short of a great stay, and in this case it appears we did. Smoking in rooms continues to be a problem which includes burn marks on the carpet. We remodel and re-carpet the most deserving rooms every year, and for the past 2 years have been using carpet tiles so when damage does occur we can replace that section immediatly rather than annually. As for the smell we take rooms down for a full day to clean it thoroughly though sometimes the air doesn't get circulated if it is 70 degrees out which is why the room probably did smell uncirculated air though it was not due to smoke. We strive to make sure our guests truly do enjoy their stay and do our best to make sure all reported problems are taken care of immediately.
"Good value, good food nearby in walking distance."
Staff was nice and helpful. Room was fine for the price. Easy location to get to, fairly close to airport. The best part was the next door cafe, Stellas. Best breakfast I have ever had. Several good restaurants/brewery in walking distance that give discounts to motel guests. The negatives were: noisy heating/air conditioner, parking crowded.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"wonderful stay for road weary travelers."
we had traveled 14 hrs in our car returning home; were fatigued, hungry- road weary...check in clerk was most helpful with recommendations for dinner, very pleasant young man...room very quiet, clean and morning checkout once again very pleasant...will stay again when in that area...Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice but noisy"
Very noisy rooms both from the the AC/Heaters, thin walls and lots of noisy guests in the early AM. Rooms are in great and clean shape! Location is great for Billings.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice, clean hotel"
Nice hotel overall. Very clean and comfortable. Distance from parking to room was TOO far when I arrived at midnight with a toddler. Despite asking for a room with easy access, it took me nearly 15 mins to take the pack and play and luggage from the truck to the room ( up a flight of stairs, across a parking lot and up an elevator ). "Do not recommend this hotel."
We felt the hotel was not accurate in it's description. The beds were very uncomfortable, the rooms were very small, the shower had mold around the edge of the tub and surround, and the parking was very difficult. We did complain about the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom and they gave us another room that did not have mold in the shower, but it […] was still very small, old, and uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Hotel for a short 1 or 2 night stay."
Friendly staff, bed was comfortable and amenities in the room were fairly typically of this type of hotel. The building was a bit scruffy on the outside generally speaking but the room was very clean and comfortable and the free wi-fi, parking & airport shuttle were all nice to have.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Ok for a night"
It was not unpleasant; however, the paper thin walls made it seem as though our neighbors were in the room with us and the window blinds were antiquated. This place could use some sprucing up and added insulation.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A Pleasant Surprise in Billings"
This is a downtown Billing motel in the Billings business district. Older style built around a parking courtyard with outdoor entry to the rooms. Two-story with no elevator. Desk staff readily offered luggage assistance if needed. All was a bit dated but in good condition and very clean. A breakfast discount is offered at a well rated restaurant right […] next to the motel. Desk staff was very helpful in identifying nearby restaurants, most within 2-3 blocks of the hotel. We chose Walkers, a somewhat upscale place with great food and service, a pleasant surprise in a community this size. We were comfortable walking the area after dark. It seemed very safe. It's not as convenient as staying at a place on the Interstate, where the hotels are newer, but it was nice to be within walking distance of several good restaurant choices. "Nice for the price"
The staff was really nice. All of the entrances are outdoors and the parking was really tight. The walls were thin, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything worked well, even the iron! The location was great too, walking distance to down town. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Love new mattresses!"
They have the most comfortable mattresses ever! It's an older hotel, but they obviously bought all new mattresses recently. Great location downtown near Starbucks. Parking was tight but available. It's not swanky, but it is clean and...did I mention the beds are awesome? I slept like a baby. Thanks, Expedia!!Genuine Expedia guest review
""Great place to stay, but the parking is horrible""
The motel does not offer continental breakfast, which is disappointing. If you are driving a full-size pick-up, be warned that the parking is extremely tight and unless you have excellent depth perception and are comfortable maneuvering in tight spaces, the parking lot at this motel will stress you out. My wife hated the parking and stated that we will […] never stay there again if we are driving our pick-up. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"great hotel, wonderful staff"
The rooms were very nice, just like most other hotels. The best thing about the hotel was the nicest and most friendly, helpful staff. We had a meeting room that was just wonderful and again the staff could not have been nicer to work with. I was very ill upon check in and the clerk looked up a clinic and gave me directions on how to get there for […] medical assistance. She did not have to do that. They were terrific! "Expensive, not great for families"
Room was nice, clean, well appointed. Had mini fridge, but no microwave or way to heat up food. Neighborhood wasn't the best (homeless mission across the street, bus station next door). Entrance to rooms outside, no elevator. Not great for families with kids, especially little ones. Nice for single or couple travelers.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The heart of Billings"
The hotel is very well located in Billings downtown. Walking distance to shops and eateries. Our room was very comfortable and clean but I did find a spider in my bed on the second night. We generally don't like to have an outside door on our room, but the area seemed very safe and we weren't worried about it at all. The hotel could have done a better […] job of letting us know amenities. My husband wanted to work out but we didn't think that they had the facility. We finally found it after our second day there. I never saw the pool, but I'm told there is one. (Of course, it is October, so we didn't expect to use that anyway). The internet is free but we had periods when it didn't work. All in all, I would recommend this hotel just because of the cleanliness and comfortable beds. The hotel also gives you a 10% discount at a lot of local eateries, which is nice. Unfortunately, the coffee shop next door was always so busy that we could never get in. Too bad because the pastries looked very yummy. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A great pet friendly option"
Overall, this place was great. They were jam packed for the few days I stayed so perhaps any issues I had were more a result of that situation than the staff. Anyway, if you book through this site, call to verify you are in a pet friendly room. There are lots of nice places to walk around nearby - lots of restaurants, green spaces, breweries, etc. The […] room was very clean. Our biggest issue was the room temp. It felt fine the first night (a bit warm, no big deal) but the second night we were tossing and turning - way too warm. We tried to turn down the temp more. Nothing happened. We turned it so the fan would be constantly circulating air. Nothing happened. When we check out we let the front desk know that we thought the thermostat was broken and they said that it's motion controlled... I have no idea what that means for the evening - that it doesn't come on unless we're moving? We tried to explain that we cranked up the fan and turned up the cool air and the woman at the front desk kept getting very focused on the up/down language and kept saying "if you're too warm, you need to turn things down." Clearly that wasn't the point. Anyway, if you find the temp in your room hard to control, call the front desk right away. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what the picture looks like on the internet"
The only thing that was annoying was the new auto sensor faucet. I couldn't brush my teeth or get water for the coffee pot without waving my hands under it and getting wet. You had to stand there with your hands waving under it for several minutes just to get warm water. Not a good plan. Otherwise things were fine, just not what I expected from the […] pic on the internet. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel offers no breakfast. The restaurant attached to the hotel closes at 5 PM. Really? While the hotel offers a map of places to eat within walking ditance of the hotel...many of them also close before six. Unless you want to spend $30-50 at a steakhouse. The heater in my room never shut off. I had to unplug it from the wall. When I asked about discounts […] that are not offered on the booking website I was told there were some but since I booked online I couldn't receive any of them. I recommend this motel very reluctantly. Very nice and helpful staff. This hotel can be described as a "duality." It's very noisy -- any conversation among passersby leaps right through the thin walls. There's lots of noise seepage from the court parking in the middle, especially a diesel truck nearly every morning around daybreak. Location is a plus […] and a minus. It's close to everything in downtown Billings including the excellent restaurants Jake's Steak House and Walker's. But it's also within range of the beet factory -- so it gets the unbearable and irritating strong odor of beats in the air. It was pretty much unbearable for both of us. We met a woman who lives in Billings who is so allergic to the beet dust that her mouth breaks out in blisters. So stay away in October every year. While the odor does eventually dissipate, anybody who might be sensitive would be well advised to stay as far away from the east side of Billings as possible. This illustrates the duality of Montana. It's got environmental protections built into its state constitution that do not appear to be uniformly applied. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Close to a lot of great places to eat which was a bonus since parking is not the best. Outdoor pool and spa which was a bit of a disappointment since we went in Oct. we could not use it. Booked on expedia which was the best rate. Over all clean and comfortable room.Genuine Expedia guest review
"OK, but not up to standards for business travel"
Pros Bed was comfortable Maid service was good Lots of nice pillows Cons Carpet was stained Bathroom was very cramped General upkeep of hotel was lacking Parking was poor (tiny spaces filled with huge SUVs and pickups) Onsite restaurant only open for breakfast and lunch and has huge lines for breakfastGenuine Expedia guest review

Cleaning people need to be a little more thorough!!! Made the beds and left clean washcloths, but that was about all.Genuine Expedia guest review
The walls were a bit thin and we could hear some ghetto folks next door talking and watching football. Another room's A/C made this awful shrieking noise during the day and was very hard to bear if you happened to be in the room during the day. Aside from that, we had no complaints. The property was very dog-friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review

1st was given room with fans in it. then I was given another room which was fine. 2nd day keys did not work so had to go to desk and request new one.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Best Western Plus ClockTower Inn I am very sorry to hear the first room you checked in to hadn't had the fans removed my housekeeping though I am pleased to see the front desk moved you. As for the keys I apologize you had to come down and have them re-keyed. The downfall of the magnetic key card is they do demagnitize occasionaly especially if placed next to anything electronic.

We enjoyed walking around town to find a brewpub for dinner - we had several options! The room was very dark - even with all lights on. We were generally pleased with the hotel & its service. This was a very busy few days as the hotel appeared to be full. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
