"Nothing bad nothing good. Just adequate."

Upon arrival the woman in reception was disinterested in serving customers and dealt with in as few words and as little interest as possible, barely acknowledging our presence. Not really anything bad or good, it was a basic clean room and served its purpose as somewhere to sleep and shower. Would stay again if I needed to as it was quiet and I couldnt be bothered to find anywhere else.
"Good base for trips to Martha's Vineyard"

The room was big and it was clean. It was fairly quiet despite it's location at the side of the road and it was perfect location to get the Island Queen to Martha's Vineyard. The staff were okay, although seemed slightly bored to deal with us on check in.
"Great Base Of Operations"

My wife and I received a free 1 night stay here so we weren't expecting much. As it turned out, we were very pleased with the place. Granted, calling it a "resort" may be a bit of a stretch since it has no pool or other such amenities but if you want a place with a nice, clean room to use as a base of operations as you go about the cape and Martha's Vineyard, this is the place. Here is my tip: If you are going to Martha's Vineyard arrive early and they will let you park in the resort lot while you get on the Island Queen to go over to MV. Not only will you save money on parking but the Island Queen is the cheapest ferry we found (only $20.00/person round trip). BTW, you can walk to the dock from the resort, they are even closer than the Island Queen's parking lot.
"Stayed here again. Many times since 1982."

The wife & I stayed there the week after Labor Day week as we have for many years since it was privately owned back in 1982. The location is great for hopping on The Island Queen for a day trip to Martha's Vineyard and for visiting the rest of the Cape. Provincetown is an hour or so away and there are quite a few good restaurants, bars and shopping nearby the hotel and Falmouth Heights Beach is less than a mile away as is Surf Drive Beach and Nobska Lighthouse. The Inner Harbor view each morning is nice and the area is surprisingly quiet considering it is so close to the Island Queen (walking distance) and the inner harbor. The rooms are a bit older as mentioned by others, but this is my experience for most of the NE states for motels. Some rooms may be dated, but It is clean and the manager (Tim) and people there (Brenda, Roxanne, Casey, Philip, etc.) care about your opinion and are very responsive. Little things like having to ask for coffee packets sometimes is annoying, but they hand them out easily at the office where they also have hot coffee and tea ready to drink. One thing I wish I had suggested was for them to install another ice machine at the other end of the hotel as right now the only one is in the office. (I think). The regular (double queen) rooms have a fridge, microwave and coffee maker and two beds that are fairly comfortable. The wifi is only available for free in the lobby, but that's OK when you're on vacation and the wife puts a clock on you! There is an internet service contracted with the Innseason Harborwalk that you can pay for to get room room wifi (7 nights for $23 I think), but it wasn't working with my Samsung Tablet so I canceled it and asked for a refund and was given one no problem. Everyone that complains about the hotel must spend most of their vacations in the room unlike my wife and I who spend very little time there, but out and about on the Cape and Islands. This is a great place to use as your "Base of Operations" for a Cape Cod vacation. Falmouth is a lovely town, not cheap, but nice and the locals are friendly.
"One and done"

The other reviews of Innseason are accurate. Our efficiency was as pictured. The location is great. In short, they provide a place to stay. What is apparent, is the little care for what could really set them apart and honestly change my opinion, which is customer service - from the staff at the front desk to housekeeping. I have many examples from our week there that showed they were more interested in "turning the room over" versus really caring about the stay of the guest. A few of those.. in using the refrigerator we found it sticky and needed to be washed down (which I did before I used it), found an empty beer bottle in one of the cupboards, a layer of dust on the wood of the chairs, no garbage bags in the bathroom basket, had to call for more toilet paper (which they brought promptly), etc. And yes, you do have to call for towels and garbage pick up daily. That does not guarantee housekeeping will stop by (as we found out) but do call. It is best summed up when we checked out and neither of the 2 folks that checked us out asked "how was your stay". Disappointing really.. it could be a great find!
"Cheap and basic but great location"

Well it is cheap and it is basic. The location is spot on, walking distance to pretty much everywhere. The trolly for Woods Whole stops close by too. We booked this on price and location. Falmouth is expensive so if you want to pay a modest amount and use as a base then this is the place for you. Don't expect luxuries. The free wifi in the lobby was handy, they even have a few sofas to relax on whilst you check your emails etc. If you can get a remodelled room that would be ideal. If not don't worry the room we had was clean even though I could smell cigarette smoke. This is meant to be non smoking but I guess if you just stand with the room door open some people must think that is not smoking in the room. Other than that the staff are friendly and we thought they were helpful for our needs. I would stay again and would recommend but do try and get a newer room. I will imagine the prices will go up once fully rennovated but like I said Falmouth is expensive. The free parking is great, plenty of it and right outside the rooms so you can keep an eye on the car.
"Not a good start..."
My family checked-in today and our first experience was not pleasant. The woman at the front desk (Brenda) was rather rude - even my 13 yr old son commented about how she inturupted me several times during check-in. When we arrived in our room there were several items left by the previous guests in PLAIN SIGHT - I can't imagine how housekeeping could have missed them - unless, of course, they didn't clean the room thoroughly... Oh yeah, they charge for WiFi - kids are disappointed too... We hope things improve otherwise, we'll just leave and find a better place to spend our Falmouth family vacation.

What a disappointment. No service at this hotel. They do not make beds or change sheets. No vacuuming in rooms unless you ask when I found this out at checkout. Had to call for clean towels etc. No one at the office after 11.00 at night and being July fourth weekend hotel guests were so noisy and no one there to tell them to stop yelling. Had to call security that was at another of the resorts in Falmouth. Carpets were not that clean also. The one plus was that the room was large and had a small frig and microwave. Management didn't seem too interested in Trying to correct any issues or any compensation for the inconveniences. Very surprised Would not recommend

What's your style? - Luxury or a place to stay. If looking for a place to stay this could work for most but not for those who thrive the best. Checking in was easy - room was spacious for a studio type; room had refrig, microwave and coffee pot, but no dishes to utilize. Internet only "free' in lobby- in room by day or week pricing. A bit outdated, but clean and comfortable---easy parking and for getting about Falmouth. Not within walking distance to downtown quaint area. Could hear neighbors partying and kids running about. This would be a good choice for a family to hang out for the space. We were working on a family home and needed a place to unwind and sleep--met our basic needs.
"What a scam I should have known!"

Got a call from these folks after attending the Boston Ski Show. For viewing the timeshare and listening to the pitch I would get a free night lodging on the cape and 4 airline tickets to anywhere in the USA. Well the free night was good, the timeshare was nice but the promises of vacations anywhere were too good to be true. I challenged them to find my vacation and they couldn't get me anything close to what i wanted. I told them I wasn't interested and they were very curt and brought me my vouchers for 4 airline tickets. Here is the catch, to use the tickets you have to stay in a participating hotel that starts at about $350 a night. I can buy my own flight and stay for less and save money. Beware if these people call you.
