Disneyland Resort looms large in Anaheim, also known for its divine baseball. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim play ball at Angel Stadium. West, in Buena Park, Knott’s Berry Farm is the area’s other major amusement park. Along the coast, crowds bask in the sun along Newport Beach’s boardwalk and historic pier. John Wayne Airport, Orange County’s gateway, is a popular alternative to the LA airport.

It's adjacent to a gas station which can be good but you also get some noise at night. The price was very reasonable given how close it is to Disneyland and the room appeared clean, however the carpet in the room definitely looks like it needs to be vacuumed.

This was a great location for Disneyland, exit the parking lot and you are at the light for the parking garage. The breakfast was good compared to some we have seen and the staff did a great job at keeping it stocked. The first room we were in however did not have hot water. The desk was called and we were told it would be restored within a few minutes. After going to dinner and a short trip to the parks, we returned a few hours later to find that it hadn't. After a few more calls to the front desk and running the water for over 20 minutes to no avail, we were changed to another room which was connected to a properly working water heater. No complaints past that, but it shoudn't have been that much of a hassle to get hot water and we shouldn't have had to fight to get our room changed.

Room was clean, beds weren't bad, linens were a little sparse until we called for more towels--a 3 queen bedroom with only 4 towels? Service was prompt...said no handicapped (recent accident prompted wheelchair access) but we were given the handicapped room and very nice. Continental breakfast was kind of a joke but not bad for the money I guess. All in all..I'd stay again if I need to put 6 adults in one room -- all in a bed.

If you're looking for a room to just sleep in, this place was great. Nothing fancy, but perfect for a family that was going to get up early and stay at Disneyland all day, only coming back to crash. The place was old, but it was clean (for the most part), convenient to the park, and had pretty good service. The only issue I really might have had was that it really wasn't convenient to places to eat or shop. However, we had a rental car, and those things were within driving distance, so it really didn't matter. If you're walking, it's a different matter.

After a horrible hotel experience in Anaheim - we switched to the Travelodge Anaheim @ Disneyland Dr. When we opened the door, it was a pleasant surprise to see a clean, nice-sized room with space for luggage and bags. (no closest, but at least a bar to hang clothing on). The only minor issue we had was with is the maximum height in the bathroom/shower. My hubby is 6'1 and the shower head came up to the middle of his chest, and his head almost hit the ceiling in the shower. Other than that, overall the room was decent, and a good value.

This Travelodge is exactly what you expect - cheap and fairly cheerful. All was clean and tidy enough and the room was cleaned daily and fresh towels, toiletries, etc. There were two issues tht at I had - (a) the external appearance was not good (but did not detract from the hotel other than the initial appearance) and (b) the walls were very thin - not goot when people are arguing or making up next door (and yes, I had both!). The simple fact is that if you just want a base to visit the Disney parks from this hotel is ideal and within 10-15 minutes walk. The receptionists were also knowledgeable and helpful. Would I go back? Probably....

In our room there were no blinds, so the light from the street lamps was too bright and the morning sun woke us up at 6:00am because the sun was beating in the room. We also could not see the stars on the ceiling because it was too bright in our room. The shower was awful - the temperature was not very adjustable. It was either scalding hot or freezing cold. There did not seem to be an in between. I would not recommend this hotel.

We wanted a place to rest our heads after a long day at Disneyland. Travelodge Anaheim provided just that, and more! The room we stayed in was big enough, and even though it was hot when we'd get in, the AC would take care of that in no time. The fridge was nice and spacious, and COLD! Didn't use the microwave, but it was there. The shower had a curtain that actually kept away from your body, which was nice. I have to say the blacklight/glow in the dark stars were a nice touch. A little cheesy, sure, but made for cute ambience. The interaction with the staff on our first and second nights were friendly, and we got all the info we needed. The staff who helped us on our last day was spectacular! The girl at the desk let us leave our baggage behind the counter after checking out, and scheduled a cab and and airport shuttle for us, all with a smile. The only thing is that even though it's near Disneyland, you will still have to walk a good 20 minutes or so to get to the park entrances and Downtown Disney. We didn't mind that, so if you don't either, you're set!

We tried walking to Disneyland once, but found out it was a bit to far. Best bet is to park at the Mickey & Friends structure. Then take the tram. Rooms are decent, could use better lighting. The only time the housekeeping crew came around was when we were napping, so our room didn't get cleaned for 4 days. It would have been very nice if they could have come back at another time, instead of just skipping us by every day. We emptied our own trashes, and went to the front desk for clean towels a couple of times. I should have complained to the front desk better, but got a blank look from them when I tried to explain the situation. There were big ugly stains on the carpet, but the beds and pillows were very comfortable and there was a microwave, refrigerator, table and chairs, hairdryer, and ironing board in the room which was very handy. It's an older hotel, nothing fancy, but a great deal and as close to DisneyLand as you can get. I would probably stay there again.

The best thing about the hotel is that you can sit out on the balcony or hotel grounds and watch the fireworks from Disney, about 9:25 each night. The hotel is walking distance to Disney but you have to travel along streets that have heavy traffic, and long lights (hard to cross). You definitely have to drive or rent a car because they don't have shuttle service, I suggest Greyline tours. The pool and laundry room is small, you have to provide your own quarters for washing machine, they might run out at front desk. I also suggest you purchase your own park tickets and pay for transportation only if you didn't drive.

I would definitely stay there again when looking for a bargain and will recommend to friends and family who are looking for a Disney vacation on the cheap. Expect loud noises during the Disney fireworks show as the hotel is literally directly across the street from where they set them off.
