I am so glad that I stayed at Pier 5. I felt so lucky walking back from my conference (at the M) every day - just across the pier! It was homey,... comfortable, but interesting and classy at the same time. Service was excellent, and I was always made to feel welcome. I loved the hotel because of it's location and services. It is not very family friendly for younger children. Not real room service breakfast was really expensive so was valet parking. Staff was great and rooms were very nice but they need a family friendly restaurant off the lobby!

Great location, fun and modern decor. Service was polite and very helpful. Room was large and clean,nicely set up. One piece of advice: if you decide on the breakfast get the included special package instead of just charging it to your room bill, its a much better value that way. But a great hotel, had a fabulous time, would go back!

Other than stains on the carpet, the room was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room had a good view of the inner harbor. We really enjoyed the convenience of having 2 excellent restaurants within the same building. I look forward to staying there again for more than 1 night.

Unfortunately, we were told breakfast was included but it wasn't. When our son had one crescent and hot chocolate at breakfast, he also sampled some of my fried egg and they charged us for three buffet prices. Also, when we asked for the complimentary bottle of Voss water they said "oh it's very expensive and we will have to charge you $5.00."

When I arrived the valet person was missing and it took 20 minutes for him to return. I finally got my car valeted and I checked in. The check-in was ok, quick and no one was in line so it made the process fast. ----- In the room, the sheets were the roughest and most uncomfortable I'd ever stayed on. The bed was uncomfortable and lumpy; it felt like […] it was 20 years old and had never been flipped. The decor was modern and nice but didn't feel very warm (just my opinion). ----- There was a little happy hour where they served wine and beer while you watched someone make a MD style crab dish. That was nice and I enjoyed the entertainment. ----- The location is great if you want to go to the steak house or the seafood restaurant that are conveniently attached. Also, anywhere in the harbor. ----- In the end, I don't think I'll ever stay here again; though its location is convenient, thats about all I'd give it. I could have found a hotel in Harbor East on the other side of Pier 6 for maybe a little more money and would have enjoyed it much more! Read more

This hotel is perfect for spending the weekend touring the sites of the inner harbor. It's tucked away enough that you can sit on your balcony peacefully, but a stone's throw away from all the sights and sounds of the harbor.

The hotel is in a great location. Located right next to the aquarium and in walking distance to a bunch of great restaurants. Staff was very nice. Room view was right on the water. The bathroom was a little dingy, but besides that I would stay there again.

Pier 5 is a fantastic hotel and I think the most convenient of any of the inner harbor hotels with easy access to the Harbor, Fells Point, Little Italy and Camden Yards (and only 2 blocks from Whole Foods and a CVS). Great hotel for traveling with a toddler - easy location to return to from any of the major attractions quickly if needed, enough space […] in the room for a little one to run around, they even gave us a small fridge free of charge to help keep milk and snacks readily available for our toddler. We were able to check into the hotel 2 hours early-which was great. What was not so great is that we were given a room with a king bed instead of 2 doubles. And the bathroom was not ADA compliant. Maybe this is more an Expedia problem?

Chairs had tears in fabric, walls dirty, pictures not straight and you could hear everything around. Extremely overpriced for the environment provided.

Great location. Large rooms. Decent price. Hotel interiors look dated-80s. My room smelled very musty and had stained carpets, but it was a large, comfortable room with decent ammenities.

The staff was incredible; they were so welcoming and friendly! It wasn't the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, but the location and the staff totally made up for it!

I was very pleased with the Pier 5 Hotel. It was right in the middle of the inner harbor, so we were able to walk to most of the things we wanted to see. The hotel was attractive and our room was very clean. The staff in the hotel was very friendly and helpful, especially the manager. I will stay there the next time I visit The Inner Harbor.

the lobby bar is unique and trendy; too bad it wasn't open. no bartender.no concierge either. desk clerk, Empress, is an absolute delight. room and view superior; location perfect; and attached restaurants great.get someone to staff the lobby bar and i'd rate in A+

the hotel was great. very clean and confortable. the service was fast and friendly. they gave me gift certificates and coupons to surrounding bars and restaurants. my only issue was that i had to pay for parking in addition to the room charge. I am finding out that this is common in cities. however, I am from the suburbs where hotels have free parking. […] as long as I have to pay additional for parking, I will not be completely satisfied. Just okay. Don't get me wrong it is a very nice place. I was just a bit disappointed with the quality of the maintenance and repairs that had been done in our room. For example, there was a repair to an electric outlet and the cover was put back on really crooked and there was a hole in the wall above it. This is a great hotel located within walking distance of all attractions in the Inner Harbor as well as the Little Italy section of the city. Loved it's proximity to inner harbor. Great eats all around, especially dinner one night at La Scala in Little Italy area! Water taxi to Fort McHenry took longer than we thought, but we weren't in a rush. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful!

nice view and everyone working at the hotel was very nice... the room was clean... but, the colors on the wall did not match. Also, the toilet was having problems shutting off, and the bathroom cupboards where practilcally falling off.
