The room was very comfortable and had been recently painted so there was still a lingering paint odor, but that was not a problem as I ran the air conditioning. On very cold days windows were open and heater was off when I got it. I am an international traveller and did not wear much clothing...... Also the office was very smely, apparently the owners/managers have been cooking there in the office regularly for long time. Breakfast - almost nothing supplied.

This is a good, but basic, room - walk-up second floor rooms, exterior doors to each room. The room was kept clean, and did not have excessive wear and tear. It is located within a block of two major grocery stores, as well as the Caltrain station, and there is bus service across the street. The girl who was running the front desk when I checked in […] was extremely pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, later in my stay, I went back to the office for something, and the person behind the counter was extremely rude and disrespectful, so much so that I prematurely terminated my stay and checked out a day earlier than planned. My other complaint is that the WiFi connection was very poor did not work at all over half of the times I tried to use it. On the plus side, the room was clean, and the heater worked well. Read more

Just what I needed ... an inexpensive, clean hotel, with free WiFi near SFO and Redwood City for business. Needed to get a document printed, and clerk at front desk was happy to accommodate me. The shopping center across Camino Real has a Starbucks, CVS, and several restaurants that are just fine. Parking was easy. I'd stay again !

Hotel is in a great location if you want to be near shops, good restaurants and a big movie theater. We stayed on the first floor and were awakened in the middle of the night to a loud personal encounter right above us. Luckily it only lasted a few minutes. Sounded like it was in the same room. The bed was extrememly firm, and the front desk lady was a bit rude, but other than that it was a decent stay. The room is clean, and the hotel was in walking distance of downtown Redwood City with shops, eateries, and a movie theater. I didn't partake in the continental breakfast, but from the looks of it, I wouldn't count on it to fill you up.

The rooms were clean and with enough space. Hotel close to stores and restaurants. Walls were somewhat thin; we could hear the people next door as if they were in our room. Front desk called us for no reason at 9am to tell us checkout time was at 11am which we already knew. Otherwise everything was okay.

I spent the week for a conference. The room was quiet, clean, fine. No frills, but no problems either. Good shower. Not bad A/C. A tad far from the university, but only about 15-20 minutes at rush hour, so that was okay, too.
